Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has announced a major leadership transition with Hemant Sikka, currently President of Mahindra's Farm Equipment Sector (FES), set to take over as Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL). His appointment will take effect after his resignation from the current role on May 4, 2025.
The announcement was part of a broader internal reshuffle by Mahindra Group to capitalize on existing talent and sharpen operational efficiency across divisions. The company stated that Hemant Sikka brings a strong blend of strategic insight, operational discipline, and people-centric leadership to Mahindra Logistics. The outgoing MLL CEO, Ram Swaminathan, will step down to pursue other professional interests.
In a press statement, Mahindra Group CEO Dr. Anish Shah said, 'These leadership changes ensure that we have strong, proven leaders at the helm of our key businesses. Their experience will enable us to drive significant growth and create greater value for our customers and shareholders.'
Meanwhile, Veejay Nakra, currently President of the Automotive Division, will be appointed as the new President of the Farm Equipment Business (FEB), while R Velusamy, head of Automotive Technology, will take over as President of the Automotive Business, consolidating the SUV and LCV segments under one umbrella.

Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) reported its consolidated financial results for Q4 FY25 on April 21, 2025, showing moderate growth in revenue and improvement in operational metrics despite a continued bottom-line loss. The company posted a revenue of ₹1,570 crore in Q4 FY25, up from ₹1,451 crore in Q4 FY24, reflecting an 8.2% year-on-year growth.
EBITDA for the quarter improved to ₹78 crore from ₹57 crore, a 36.8% increase, pushing the EBITDA margin to 4.97% from 3.93% in the year-ago period. The company reported a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹0.95 crore, a turnaround from a loss of ₹9.22 crore in Q4 FY24. Net loss (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹6.75 crore, a significant improvement from a loss of ₹12.85 crore in the corresponding period last year. EPS (diluted) came in at ₹(0.93), narrowing from ₹(1.78) in Q4 FY24.

The cost of materials consumed was Rs 206.53 crore, while employee benefits expenses stood at Rs 131.97 crore. The significant sequential decline in revenue and profit reflects the cyclical execution pattern of BDL's large defence orders, which tend to peak in the final quarter of the financial year.
