Have you got your tickets yet? If you're as excited as we are, here's some information on what you can possibly expect at his concert!
Who is Travis Scott?
Travis Scott, real name Jacques Bermon Webster III, is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer with numerous chart-topping hits.
He has won multiple awards, such as the BET Hip Hop Awards 2019 Album of the Year for ASTROWORLD, Billboard Music Awards 2019 Top Rap Song for SICKO MODE, MTV Video Music Awards 2021 Best Hip Hop for FRANCHISE, and more.
Circus Maximus Tour
The Circus Maximus Tour is Travis Scott's fourth concert tour in support and promotion of his album Utopia, released in 2023. Circus Maximus is the title of one of his songs on the album, and a cinematic musical film directed by Scott himself, currently with 17 million views on YouTube.
According to Genius (genius.com, the world's largest music-related database), Circus Maximus is titled after and inspired by Italy's ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium. It's speculated that the song, film, and the tour are named Circus Maximus to depict the action and entertainment fed to spectators.
His concert in Doha will be at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium pitch, which will have outdoor air conditioning, and will be the first concert of its kind in Qatar.
It is confirmed that roaming activations will also take place before his performance, so fans can expect a one-of-a-kind concert experience!
Stage design
His previous Circus Maximus concerts are known for their impressively unique stage design, which makes his concert truly a spectacle. The previous setups feature rocky pathways that go through the crowd at different elevations. The stage is also lined with multiple pyrotechnic and smoke machines that trigger at certain beats of his songs, adding an extra flair to his performance. Multiple LCD screens also decorate previous venues, offering stunning visuals to match each track on his setlist.
What do you think the stage will look like for his performance in Doha? Do you think we'll see something similar?
Travis Scott's tour outfits
In Travis Scott's Circus Maximus film, he can be seen wearing an American football-type body armour and signature futuristic-looking googles. He has been known to wear similar outfits during his Circus Maximus tour, which fits his overall tour vibe and electrifying performance.

Musetti goes through despite kicking a ball at a line judge

PA Media/DPA Paris Italian eighth seed Lorenzo Musetti was lucky not to be disqualified from the French Open after kicking a ball at a line judge. In the second set of his quarter-final win against American Frances Tiafoe on Tuesday, Musetti booted the ball in frustration and it hit the woman, standing about three metres away, in the chest. Tiafoe looked stunned at the other end of the court and gestured towards the umpire, who eventually gave Musetti a code violation. Later in the evening, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz breezed past American Tommy Paul 6-0, 6-1, 6-4. There were echoes of Novak Djokovic being defaulted at the 2020 US Open after accidentally hitting a female line judge with a ball. Tiafoe, the 15th seed, said: 'I mean, obviously he did that and nothing happened. I think that's comical, but it is what it is. 'Nothing happened, so there's nothing really to talk about. Obviously it's not consistent, so it is what it is.' Former player-turned broadcaster Rennae Stubbs wrote on X: 'Wow Musetti is very lucky to be still on court right now. You cannot kick a ball and it hit the lines person and not be defaulted.' Musetti, who also reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon last year, won the match 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 to progress to the last four at Roland Garros for the first time. He said: 'Yeah, I was a little bit, honestly, scared, because I really didn't want to harm nobody, of course. 'So I immediately went to the line umpire, and I of course said 'sorry', I apologize to everyone. 'It was right to have a warning, but I think the umpire saw that there was no intention about that, and that's why probably just, you know, let me continue my game.' The French Open is the only one of the four grand slams to still use line judges rather than electronic line calling.
