Kate Hudson unsure about marrying fiancé Danny Fujikawa: "I like my freedom"

Express Tribune06-03-2025

Kate Hudson has revealed she may never officially marry her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, despite being engaged for over three years.
During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Hudson shared her hesitation about marriage, stating: 'The contractual thing is tough for me. I like my freedom. I like the concept of freedom.'
She even joked about preferring the idea of 'being engaged forever', pointing to her famous parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have been together since 1983 but never married.

'They never signed the contract. They've been engaged since I was 7,' Hudson explained, highlighting that a formal wedding isn't a priority for her.
Hudson also admitted she doesn't feel the typical excitement about wedding planning, saying, 'It's the opposite. I have to plan it, it's going to cost so much money, and it's just a lot.' However, she hasn't ruled out eloping, adding she still wants some traditional elements like a gravy boat.
The Almost Famous star began dating Fujikawa in 2016 after 15 years of friendship. They got engaged in 2021 and share a daughter, Rani Rose, born in 2018.

Hudson also has two sons: Ryder Robinson with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham Hawn Bellamy with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy.
Despite her doubts about marriage, Hudson and Fujikawa remain deeply committed, with no rush to walk down the aisle.

Dunkin' has officially rolled out its highly anticipated 2025 summer menu, and one standout item is already generating major buzz. While the full lineup includes new savory options like the Chipotle Hash Brown Wake-Up Wrap, all eyes are on Sabrina's Strawberry Dream Refresher—a fruity, creamy drink that's already a fan favorite. Described by Delish reporter Danielle Harling as 'quite literally a dream,' the drink has been a hit on social media since its announcement. Now, her latest creation seems poised to top it. Online buzz has only grown since the menu drop. Fan reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, especially under a post shared by Instagram food influencer @markie_devo. 'Omg the strawberry dream looks GOOD,' one user commented. Kelley Wolf speaks out after involuntary hold

Kelley Wolf, author, wellness coach, and former Real World: New Orleans star, is speaking out after being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold earlier this month. The 48-year-old reality alum confirmed that she was detained by authorities under a 5150 hold in mid-June after a friend called in a wellness check while she was staying at a resort in Utah. Though not arrested, Wolf was handcuffed and taken for a mental health evaluation. In a candid Instagram post, now deleted, she described the experience as 'traumatizing' but emphasized that she is not struggling with mental illness or addiction. 'There is no diagnosis. No medication. I'm fine. I'm happy. I'm just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150,' she wrote. The incident occurred during her ongoing divorce from actor Scott Wolf. Kelley clarified that she initiated the separation nearly a year ago and is currently navigating the process while co-parenting their three children. She also shared frustrations with the friends who called for help, saying some 'abandoned ship' and failed to follow up. 'All I really needed was a little help. A little humanity,' she wrote, while expressing gratitude for those who stood by her. Kelley's story has sparked broader discussions online about mental health, the limits of wellness culture, and the complexity of emergency intervention laws. For now, Kelley is focusing on healing, staying grounded, and reclaiming her narrative.

Taylor Swift upstages Kane Brown at Kelce's show and he's loving it

Kane Brown had a light-hearted response after Taylor Swift unexpectedly appeared during his performance at Travis Kelce's Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville Tuesday night. The country star posted a photo with Swift and Kelce on Instagram with the caption, 'When you think you're the special guest BUT you're not.' Fans flooded the comments, calling the unexpected collaboration 'iconic' and 'legendary.' One user gushed, 'We love you Kane! Thanks for letting our girl sing.' The Tuesday night event, held at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, was part of Kelce's Tight End University program. The evening featured performances by Sophia Scott, Graham Barham, Chase Rice, Jordan Davis, Luke Combs and of course, Brown. But the real surprise came at the end of his set, when he teased the crowd with news of a 'really, really special guest.' That's when Swift casually walked onstage. Cheering erupted as she grabbed the mic and playfully asked, 'Theoretically, how loud can we get?' While the duo didn't debut a new song, the moment marked another show of Swift's ever-growing connection to the NFL world and her willingness to support Kelce's projects. The pop superstar recently made headlines for regaining control over her original masters and is currently enjoying a break from her Eras Tour before heading back to Europe in July. Whether planned or spontaneous, the moment highlighted music, sports, and celebrity culture in a way only Swift and Kelce could deliver with Brown handling the whole thing with humour and charm.
