9-1-1: Nashville's LeAnn Rimes Reveals Surprising Detail About Her Character: ‘There's No Way!'

Yahoo08-07-2025
Much about LeAnn Rimes' character on 9-1-1: Nashville remains a mystery, but thanks to a new interview with TVLine sister site Flow Space, at least we know what she'll smell like! (Yes, you read that correctly.)
In preparation for her first series-regular TV role, Rimes reveals that she has created a signature scent 'in honor' of her new character — a blend of rosewood, tobacco, leather, black pepper and the wood scent oud. 'Fragrance is super-emotional for me,' the singer says, likening it to music in that way.

She also dropped an intriguing little nugget about her character — she's a mother! According to Rimes, the crew on 9-1-1: Nashville found this tough to swallow: 'They were like, 'Oh, wow, we heard you're going to be playing a mom. What? There's no way you're old enough to play a mom!''
Meanwhile, Rimes has been running lines with husband Eddie Cibrian, whose experience with TV procedurals ranges from Third Watch to CSI: Miami. 'I get really nervous doing that in front of him, but he's been super helpful,' she admits.
Premiering this fall on ABC, 9-1-1: Nashville stars Chris O'Donnell as Captain Don Sharpe, with Jessica Capshaw as Don's horse-whispering wife Blythe and Michael Provost as their son Ryan.
The cast also includes Hailey Kilgore as singing firefighter Taylor, Juani Feliz as trauma surgeon-turned-firefighter Roxie, Hunter McVey as bad-boy firefighter Blue, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley is a yet-undisclosed role.
An exact premiere date has not been announced, but we do know that new episodes will air Thursdays at 9/8c, between 9-1-1 and Grey's Anatomy.

Why Dua Lipa Spent a Lot of Time 'Being Guarded' Before Relationship with Fiancé Callum Turner

Lipa confirmed their engagement in June 2025 after first sparking romance rumors in January 2024 NEED TO KNOW Dua Lipa opened up about "being guarded" before her relationship with Callum Turner 'That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel so lucky to get to feel it," she told Harper's BAZAAR of her experience being in love Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner in June 2025 Dua Lipa opened up about her love life before Callum Turner. In a cover story with Harper's BAZAAR published on Tuesday, Aug. 19, the pop star reflected on her relationships before meeting her fiancé, 35. Lipa, 29, who met Turner through the poet and singer Mustafa, discussed how incredible falling in love has been for her. 'I love love. It is a beautiful thing,' she told the publication, adding. 'It's a really inspiring thing. You find yourself so intensely falling all the time in the best way possible.' Added Lipa: 'That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel so lucky to get to feel it. I've spent a lot of time being guarded or protecting my heart, and so I'm letting go of that feeling and just being like, 'Okay, if I'm supposed to get hurt, then this is what's going to happen.' I have to just allow love.' Of her relationship with Turner, the "Training Season" musician said she was "happier than ever." "So it feels like I'm doing a disservice by not talking about it," Lipa said of their romance. She noted that her personal life is "very vulnerable" as a public person. "It's not like I don't want to share it," said Lipa. The "New Rules" hitmaker confirmed her engagement to Turner in a June interview with British Vogue. 'Yeah, we're engaged. It's very exciting," she told the outlet. Lipa also told the publication that her engagement ring was made after Turner spoke with her best friends and her sister. 'I'm obsessed with it. It's so me," she said. "It's nice to know the person that you're going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.' At the time, according to Lipa, the pair hadn't begun wedding planning. 'I want to finish my tour, Callum's shooting, so we're just enjoying this period," Lipa said. "I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'" The "Levitating" artist didn't understand the "weight" of getting married before it happened. 'This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever – it's a really special feeling," said Lipa. Lipa and Turner initially sparked romance rumors in January 2024 when they were first spotted together at the Masters of Air afterparty following its London premiere. At the time, the duo were captured in a video slow dancing. Read the original article on People

Keith Urban Helps the Next Generation of Country Stars in a Special Way originally appeared on Parade. Keith Urban's undeniable talent has made him one of the most successful names in the country music industry—and he wants to help the next stars. In a partnership with the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the Australian native, 57, has launched the Keith Urban Rising Star Scholarship. The program will bring an artist from the Land Down Under to Nashville, Tennessee, as part of an all-expenses-paid trip, Billboard reported. The lucky musician will have "unprecedented access" to the city's music scene, including the chance to perform and write, per the outlet. The artist will also be introduced to personnel from the music business and have two days of recording time at Urban's studio, The Sound, which he purchased in June 2024, according to Mixonline. "Sometimes all a musician needs is an opportunity to be heard or someone to help nurture their talent. Having the opportunity to do that not only inspires me, I'm hoping that in some way this scholarship will serve to inspire others," Urban said, per Billboard. The four-time Grammy Award-winner has a long history with the Tamworth Country Music Festival. In 1989, he won the Star Maker competition at the Australia-based event, which helped lead him to worldwide stardom. The "Blue Ain't Your Color' singer was just 22 at the time. The 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival will take place from January 16-25. "Held in Australia's Country Music Capital, Tamworth, the Toyota Country Music Festival is recognised as Australia's largest and longest country music festival in the southern hemisphere!" the festival's website states. Artists interested in the Rising Scar Scholarship can apply at beggining in January 2026. Country music is highly popular in the Land Down Under. According to a July 2023 report from The Music Network, data from Luminate placed Australia as the world's No. 3 market for country music, right behind the U.S. and Canada. Urban is currently on his 2025 High and Alive World Tour, which began on May 22 in Orange Beach, Alabama. The tour headed to Australia on August 13 and will also travel to Canada before returning to the U.S. The "Somebody Like You" singer will wrap up the tour on October 17 in Nashville.
