Turkey: Israeli Government Pose Threat to World Peace

Ankara - Saba: Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş stressed that the Israeli government, which seeks to resolve all its problems through massacres and violence without negotiations, poses a major threat to world peace. Kurtulmuş said at a joint press conference held Tuesday with his Georgian counterpart, Shalva Papuashvili, in the capital, Ankara, that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his gang have begun launching attacks on Iran with the aim of expanding and deepening the war to cover up the crimes they have committed in Palestine." He added that the attacks on Iran are a risky move aimed at removing the Gaza issue from the international agenda and entrenching instability in the region. He emphasized that Turkey seeks to resolve issues through peace, diplomacy, and negotiation, adding that "the existence of an Israeli government that seeks to resolve all its problems through massacres and violence without negotiations poses a major threat to world peace." Kurtulmuş noted that Turkey calls on everyone to stop the Israeli-Iranian war as soon as possible and put an end to the Israeli aggression. He added, "It is imperative that the international community prevent the Israeli government's aggression (against Iran) before it's too late and before the world is drawn into a larger conflict." He emphasized that Turkey will continue to work to establish an international order based on peace, security, and justice for all humanity. Since dawn on Friday, Israel, with US support, has launched an aggression against Iran, bombing nuclear facilities and missile bases and assassinating military leaders and nuclear scientists, leaving 224 dead and 1,277 wounded. Tehran has responded with ballistic missiles and drones, leaving approximately 24 dead and hundreds wounded. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
