Man dies after two-car crash in East Yorkshire
A man has died after two cars collided on a country road in East Yorkshire.Humberside Police said the black Ford Focus and black MG3 were involved in the crash on Beverley Road near Whitedale on Thursday 29 May.The driver of the Focus, aged 76, died in hospital from his injuries on Friday 6 June.The collision happened between New Ellerby and Great Hatfield at around 19:00 BST. Officers are trying to establish the circumstances and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.

A man has died in Jersey after a car hit a wall on a coastal road, police have of Jersey Police said the crash happened on the St Clement coast road at 09:24 BST on male driver was pronounced dead in hospital while a passenger, his wife, suffered minor injuries, the force said a section of Grand Route de La Cote between La Petite Sente and Rue De La Lourderie was closed for several hours after the crash, which involved no other vehicles. Matt Boiles from Avon Somerset Police explained that the campaign is not just "focusing on bikes and prosecuting bikers"."It's about educating the public as a whole to the risks that bikers are exposed to and the risks they expose themselves by their riding," he campaign takes place from 2-15 June.
