Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan struggles to reveal the truth to Abhira amid rising tensions
In recent episodes, Armaan is visibly wracked with guilt as he sees Abhira relive her traumatic memories. The moment of truth arrives when he realizes that removing Pookie from her was a huge blunder. Seething to make things right, Armaan decides to confess and spill the beans to Abhira — but just as he's about to come clean, a series of dramatic twists ensue.
Before Armaan can comfort Abhira, Kaveri intervenes and berates him, telling him to mind his life with Myra and Geetanjali instead.
Abhira even distances herself, telling Armaan to go away and take care of Geetanjali.
In spite of the opposition, Armaan implores Geetanjali to stand with him. He admits that taking a stand about Pookie is the very first right thing he has done in years. Albeit heartbroken, Geetanjali decides to stand with him realizing Abhira should be given justice. She urges Armaan not to fear and to act on his conscience.
But Kaveri strikes once more.

Armaan finally finds the nerve to talk to Abhira, and Kaveri snatches it away from him by bringing up the complaint that he has been absent for seven years. In a dramatic twist, at the last minute when Armaan is on the verge of finally revealing the truth to Abhira and asking for her pardon, Geetanjali steps in and prevents him — turning the situation once again. Stepping in with her wish to retain Myra and Armaan by her side, Geetanjali has now emerged as the latest villain in Armaan and Abhira's already convoluted romance.
