Aneet Padda, enjoying success from her debut film Saiyaara, recently tried chai for the first time, delighting fans. Saiyaara has earned over Rs 151 crore worldwide.
Aneet Padda, who's currently basking in the love and rave reviews pouring in for her blockbuster debut Saiyaara, just had a very Indian rite of passage — her first-ever cup of chai! Aneet was a self-confessed 'chai virgin' until a few days ago, when she was handed a warm cup of masala chai.
What happened next was both hilarious and heartwarming. 'I have never had chai. This is my first time having chai. I lost my chai virginity. I must say, Sudama, I had a great time," Aneet says in the clip, holding the cup like it's a suspicious potion.
The video is making the rounds on fan pages and social media, with people gushing over her innocence.

Saiyaara, which released recently, has turned out to be a superhit, earning praise for its fresh story and crackling chemistry between the leads. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's first film Saiyaara is going strong and shows no signs of slowing down. Directed by Mohit Suri, this romantic drama has done really well in theatres, earning over Rs 150 crore worldwide in just four days. After a strong opening weekend, the film held remarkably steady on its first Monday, earning Rs 24 crore. That pushed the India net total to Rs 108 crore, with a gross of Rs 128 crore.
The international box office is picking up too. Saiyaara has collected over Rs 23 crore overseas by Monday, bringing its worldwide total to Rs 151 crore. The film has now outperformed the lifetime earnings of Kesari Chapter 2 (Rs 144 crore) and Sky Force (Rs 146 crore), both starring Akshay Kumar. That's a huge feat for a film led by newcomers.
But what's really got everyone talking is that Saiyaara has now beaten the worldwide box office total of Aashiqui 2! Released in 2013, Aashiqui 2 was a massive hit — it made people cry, fall in love, and hum its songs nonstop. With Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, the tragic love story and unforgettable music (hello, Tum Hi Ho and Sunn Raha Hai) made it a fan favourite. The film was made on a small budget of just ₹15 crore but ended up earning over ₹110 crore globally. It turned the lead actors into stars and firmly established Mohit Suri as the king of emotional love stories. Now, years later, his new film Saiyaara has gone even bigger!

Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor-Starrer Param Sundari Gets New Release Date

Mumbai: The makers of 'Param Sundari' on Wednesday unveiled the motion poster of the upcoming film and announced that the cross cultural romance movie will hit the big screen on August 29. Janhvi, Sidharth and Maddock in a collaborative post on Instagram unveiled the motion poster featuring the two stars. In the poster, Sidharth is seen looking handsome in a shirt paired with jeans along with a bag on his shoulder. The actress looks every inch an Indian beauty as she does a classical dance form dressed in a saree. In the motion poster the two can be seen crossing paths. The motion poster concludes with: 'In cinemas worldwide. 29th August 2025. A Maddock Films Production.' It also mentioned that its first song 'Pardesiya' will be out on Wednesday. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Maddock Films (@maddockfilms) The video is captioned as: 'Dinesh Vijan brings to you the Biggest Love Story of the Year #ParamSundari arrives in cinemas on 29th August And in just 1 hour, feel its soul with the year's most heartfelt song — #Pardesiya.' The film was earlier scheduled to release in July 25, 2025. The film centers on a love story between a North Indian played by Sidharth and a South Indian girl, filmed in Kerala. The film 'promises a heartfelt tale of love, where two worlds collide, and sparks are bound to fly. Set against the breathtaking backwaters of Kerala, this love story is a rollercoaster of laughter, chaos, and unexpected twists you won't see coming,' per a description provided by Maddock, reports 'Its like those films that Mani-sir (Mani Ratnam) used to do like 'Saathiya' (the Hindi-language remake of Tamil drama-romance film 'Alai Payuthey'),' Maddock chief Dinesh Vijan had previously told Variety. 'The kind of music it has and Janhvi playing a South Indian is interesting, Sid's playing a Northern Delhi boy and the conflict is very cool. It's like maybe taking 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' forward – there's a high tech idea in there. But we are going into the 'Kantara' world of sorts – we are going a little more than that.'
