I wore this $12 belt bag at Disney World and it made my visit so much easier

Yahoo12-04-2025
If you're a frequent Disney-goer, like me, you absolutely need a belt bag. In a bout of midlife-crisis nostalgia some years back, I returned to Walt Disney World for my 40th birthday for the first time in two decades, and I've found myself there multiple times a year, ever since. I am no novice. And I can tell you, you need to lighten your load as much as possible for a full day in the parks. I just returned from a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, and this time I brought with me an amazing life hack I will never go without: the Ododos Mini Belt Bag, and it's just $12 at Amazon (price varies by color).
The affordable belt bag looks and functions just like a certain Lululemon version. I can tell you that it's essentially the same, sans logo. And, yes, I am officially a convert.
Here's the skinny:
The Ododos is the same size as Lulu's wildly popular belt bag and has similar dividers and pockets. It features a large mesh pocket inside that fits any size phone and two smaller mesh pockets, which were perfect for my lip balm and hand sanitizer.
Another zipper pocket on the exterior sits close to your body, ideal for credit cards or your phone. This little wonder was so spacious that it even fit a small water bottle. (Not shown: my sunglasses and a half-eaten churro.)
The other feature I love is its ability to easily adjust from a fanny pack to a shoulder bag. The strap lengthens when I want it over the shoulder, which was a good option when going on certain rides, like Thunder Mountain or the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. More importantly, it was comfortable for both me and Eeyore, but I regress ... I mean, digress.
Really, I barely noticed I was wearing it, so light is this bag! The strap is wide enough that it's comfortable and stable — no digging into your shoulder or hip. An unobtrusive bag, yet everything was at my fingertips when I needed it.
I opted for black, so it would blend in, but it comes in a bevy of beautiful colors — 44 shades to be exact! I might just get another.
My traveling companion, age 11, wore this bag at times, as well, and the size fit him just as comfortably. He commented, "I love this bag," on more than one occasion, allowing him to carry his own set of necessities, like water, a snack and Mickey Mouse lip balm.
I'll be taking this belt bag with me on all of my vacations going forward, for sure. I give it five stars — I couldn't find any flaws! Just like Disney World itself, it allows you to live in the moment and hakuna matata.
If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)

This coffee is made especially for kids — it sneaks in nutrients and has less caffeine than a Hershey's Kiss

Talk about a latte of nutrients. Coffee is probably the last thing you'd give your growing kids — but what if it was a clever way to sneak them some extra vitamins, and they could enjoy it next to you and your cup of joe? That's exactly what David Sanborn and his 8-year-old son, Ethan, set out to create with Kiid Coffee, a sugar-free, decaf blend packed with nutrients that sold out just hours after their appearance on ABC's 'Shark Tank' earlier this year. 6 Kiid Coffee quickly gained traction after David and Ethan Sanborn appeared on 'Shark Tank.' Disney Advertisement Kiid Coffee is a powdered drink mix made to be stirred into milk or water. Every serving has 4 grams of prebiotic fiber and a mineral blend that includes calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, and vitamins E, C, D3, A, B12 and B6. It uses organic, water-decaffeinated coffee — meaning it still packs in some major antioxidants but is 99.9% caffeine-free. 'The amount of caffeine in regular coffee is too much for kids below, say, 14 years old — and that's if you even know how much caffeine is in a cup of coffee,' David told The Post, noting that too much can affect heart rate and blood pressure, while also causing sleep issues. Advertisement By comparison, Kiid Coffee — in the original and caramel flavors — has a little less than 1 mg of caffeine. 'There's about 1 mg of caffeine in a single milk chocolate Hershey's Kiss,' he added. The chocolate flavor of Kiid Coffee 4.2 mg of caffeine per serving, mostly from cocoa. 'That's still less than a single serving of hot chocolate,' David said, adding the drink 'basically tastes like a chocolate milk, but without the sugar' because it's sweetened with organic monk fruit extract. 6 Kiid Coffee comes in three flavors: original, chocolate and caramel. Disney Little sips, big ideas: How an 8-year-old lit the spark for Kiid Coffee Advertisement David drinks coffee daily, so when Ethan asked to try it a few years ago, he cautiously poured a splash into some milk. 'I gave it to him first thinking he wouldn't like it, and then, funny enough, he did,' David recalled. Around the same time, Ethan was recovering from his second broken leg in two years. When a doctor pointed out that most kids don't get enough vitamin D — essential for calcium absorption and strong bones — David did some research. He discovered 30% of kids ages 2 to 8 — and 60% of those 9 to 18 — aren't getting the minimum recommended amount of calcium daily. Magnesium and fiber, also key to nutrient absorption, were 'big concerns' as well. Advertisement 6 The Sanborn's first began developing Kiid Coffee's formula in their home kitchen. Courtesy of Kiid Coffee Ethan's gummy multivitamins had zero calcium or magnesium and not enough vitamin D. Milk could help, but he wasn't a fan, so David started serving him decaf coffee with a dash of magnesium and calcium stirred in. Around that time, David had been tossing around business ideas with Ethan, who came in with a stroke of genius and asked his dad, 'What if we make coffee for kids?' Brewing up business When the father-son duo set out to create Kiid Coffee, they had three non-negotiables. 'First, taste is king,' David said. 'If kids don't like the taste of something, they won't keep having it.' Two and three were nutrition and experience. The kids' nutrition market was flooded with gummy vitamins, which felt to David like teaching kids candy is healthy. 'It seemed obvious we were reinforcing a bad habit every morning,' he said. Advertisement 6 Today, Kiid Coffee is sold on Amazon and in retail locations across the country. Instagram/@thekiidcoffee 6 Ethan had always liked the taste of coffee. Now his morning cup is packed with nutrients. Instagram/@thekiidcoffee A brew-tiful blend — and a morning ritual with family After testing more than 100 recipes, David and Ethan landed on the perfect fit and three tasty flavors. 'I really love the taste, and I feel good when I drink it,' Ethan said. Caramel is his top pick, but he goes for original 'when I want more coffee taste.' Ethan and his younger brother, Logan, start each morning by whipping up their own glass of Kiid Coffee and sipping it over breakfast with their parents. Advertisement 'It forces us to take that time,' David said. 'I think it's important to slow down.' 6 Ethan and his younger brother taste-tested each formula, ensuring the final product is kid approved. Courtesy of Kiid Coffee Shark tested, classroom approved David and Ethan took Kiid Coffee to 'Shark Tank' in March and walked away with a five-figure deal from Daniel Lubetzky. Since then, the Atlanta-based brand has hit more than 150 retail stores and brewed up thousands of fans across the country. Advertisement Ethan's classmates are among the converts. 'After 'Shark Tank,' lots of kids in my school have tried it,' he said. 'They say they like it, and their parents buy it, so I guess they really do.' They're also cooking up seasonal flavors — Ethan says there's a mint-mocha and s'mores that is 'sooo good.' They hope to have them in stores by October and are also exploring new drink ideas like teas and fruit-flavored beverages. Advertisement Still wondering why your kid needs their own cup of joe? 'Kiid Coffee is not just about coffee, it's about getting kids nutrition and teaching them about foods as well,' David said. 'So sure, your kids might not need 'coffee,' but they do need specific nutrients we know many are not getting.'

Antony Starr Bids Farewell to Homelander as THE BOYS Wraps Final Season: 'We Created a Monster' — GeekTyrant

After years of gleefully wreaking havoc as one of the most unhinged characters in modern television, Antony Starr has officially hung up the cape. With The Boys wrapping production on its fifth and final season, Starr took to Instagram to reflect on his journey playing the terrifying and twisted Homelander. 'Difficult (for me) to put into words what an incredible ride this has been. How much life and growth has occurred. How amazing the team is. It's truly been the highlight of my career,' Starr wrote. 'When we began, I had no idea what was coming. This juggernaut left the station and never stopped. Except for that Covid moment. Oh and the strikes. That was a thing too. 'But apart from those two times, it never stopped, boldly making its mark on the television landscape. There's nothing else like it. It lives in its own lane.' Starr shared a handful of behind-the-scenes photos and thanked just about everyone who made the show possible. 'To the incredible Canadian crew. The amazing production team. The insanely talented cast. 'The people at Amazon and Sony that took a chance on this insane thing (and made the great choice in casting me😂) and all the other people that contributed in some way, big or small, to this beautiful, complex, warped, delicious show.' Homelander has been one of TV's most compelling villains, and Starr clearly relished every moment of portraying him. 'This complicated character allowed the space and range to discover and push boundaries in a way I never expected and I will always be grateful for this experience,' he said. He also gave a heartfelt nod to showrunner Eric Kripke, saying, 'We created a monster, sir. And I will miss him, and you. Til we roll out the last season. When I'll see you. But this creative chapter is closed, and I'll miss it, brother.' And of course, there was a shoutout to the fans: 'Massive thank you to the fans. You are the life blood. Without you, we don't get to do this. And our fans are second to none. Mad love to you…. and deepest respect for your taste.' He signed off with: 'Okidoke people. We cooked for the last time. Can't wait to show you what we made. TIL that day, Homelander, signing off.' The Boys debuted in 2019 and quickly became a major hit for Amazon Prime Video, earning critical acclaim and multiple Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series. While Season 5 won't arrive until next year, fans can dive back into the twisted world of supes with the second season of the spinoff series Gen V , which premieres September 17. So get ready one last time. The final chapter of The Boys is coming, and Homelander's going out with a bang.

Emma Heming Willis shares reaction to Bruce Willis' dementia diagnosis in new interview with Diane Sawyer

Emma Heming Willis is sharing new details about her husband Bruce Willis' diagnosis of dementia and how she and her family are coping. In a new interview with ABC News' Diana Sawyer, Heming Willis said she remembers exactly how she felt when her husband, the star of movies such as "Die Hard" and "Pulp Fiction," was diagnosed. "I was so panicked, and I just remember hearing it and just not hearing anything else," Heming Willis told Saywer in the interview, which will air in full during the ABC special "Emma & Bruce Willis: The Unexpected Journey," airing Aug. 26, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and streaming the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. "It was like I was free-falling," she added. In 2023, Willis' family shared he had also been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a type of dementia that impacts one's personality and may cause behavioral changes, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since revealing her husband's diagnoses publicly, Heming Willis has been open about the struggles of caregiving, and the support needed for family members. Dementia -- an umbrella term for a decline in mental ability -- impacts millions of Americans and their families. According to the CDC, nearly 7 million older adults in the U.S. have Alzheimer's, the most common type of dementia. In 2024, Heming Willis -- who shares two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, with her husband -- announced she would author a book about caregiving, based on her personal experience. The book, titled "The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope and Yourself on the Caregiving Path," will be released Sept. 9. When asked by Sawyer what love is to her, Heming Willis said through her family's journey, she has felt "lucky" to have love. "Love is beautiful. It's grand. It's unconditional. I'm so lucky to feel the love," she said. In addition to his daughters with Heming Willis, Willis is also a father to three older daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore.
