Toyota recalls over 440,000 vehicles. See impacted models.
More than 400,000 Toyota cars are being recalled due to light failures that could impact visibility.
According to a notice first reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on May 19, the recall covers 443,444 cars with model years 2022 through 2025.
The reverse lights on affected cars may fail over time due to moisture entering the light assemblies. If both lights fail, it may reduce visibility for the driver when backing up and fail to notify pedestrians and other vehicles that the car is reversing, increasing crash risk.

What to do if you have a recalled car
Anyone who owns the models mentioned in the recall can take their vehicles to a Toyota dealer to have repairs done for free. Reverse light assemblies and wire harnesses will be repaired or replaced as needed.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 30, 2025. Owners can also contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 with recall numbers 24TB06 and 24TA06.

Joey Logano, who won here last year, was fourth and William Byron fifth. Hamlin was hoping for one more caution that never came after seven cautions for 35 laps. 'Just couldn't run with the 12 [Blaney] there in the super long run,' Hamlin said. 'After 40 laps, I could maintain with him. But then after that, he just pulled away and stretched it on us.' There was a sprint to the finish under green forcing teams and drivers to pick and choose went to pit. Blaney had led 107 laps when he went to the pits under green on lap 248. Hamlin practiced and qualified well, so he drove his No. 11 Toyota even as Joe Gibbs Racing had Ryan Truex on standby in case Hamlin got the call that his fiancee was in labor. Hamlin won the first stage. Advertisement Tyler Reddick beat his boss Hamlin, a co-owner of his 23XI Racing team, to new parent status, which Reddick announced on social media earlier Sunday. His family welcomed their second son at 2:20 a.m. on May 25, then Reddick followed up hours later by finishing 26th in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. NASCAR heads to Michigan International Speedway for the Cup Series on June 8.

Cup results, points after Nashville as Ryan Blaney earns playoff spot with first win of 2025
Ryan Blaney qualified for the 2025 Cup Series playoffs with a victory at Nashville Superspeedway, leading a race-high 139 of 300 laps on the 1.333-mile concrete oval. It's the 14th victory for the No. 12 Ford driver and his first since 14 races ago at Martinsville Speedway last November. The Team Penske driver became the ninth driver to win and lock into the 10-race championship run in NASCAR's premier series. Nate Ryan, Blaney captured his first victory at Nashville in his fifth start at the track in Lebanon, Tennessee. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. — 39th: 'Lap or two before, (Carson Hocevar) tried to dive in there from about 10 car lengths back. That time, I just opened my entry a little bit, he overcharged the corner and just drilled us in the rear bumper. I'd say it's not out of the norm for him, but I definitely wasn't expecting that at that point in the race. Bummer for us. Our Camaro wasn't great, but we were making changes, and I felt like that restart, I was a little better than the run before. We were just burning our right rear tire off throughout the run. Bummed that our day ended like that. I'll definitely have something to do about it at one point. We'll go back to the shop and regroup. It's a busy couple of weeks for our team getting ready for Michigan and Mexico City. Those two races back-to-back, we have to have all four cars ready. We'll refocus and get ready for next weekend. As soon as these races are over, we focus on what's next. We'll try and bounce back strong next weekend and get back rolling.' Corey Heim — 36th: "'I'm pretty sure I just kind of cleared myself across the nose of (Brad Keselowski). A little bit too desperate. We were moving forward really quick and I had a lot of confidence in my Camry and thought I could clear him by the time I got to the wall, and just used too much racetrack, so sorry to those guys. It looks like I kind of ruined his day, too, and never want to do that. Just can't say enough about the speed we had. I think if we didn't start in 33rd, we could have been battling in the top 10.
