FOUR people have been found dead in the Seine River in Paris after a horrified train passenger spotted a floating corpse.
Police rushed to the harrowing scene before recovering the bodies from the river in Choisy-le-Roi, Val-de-Marne, in the French capital on Wednesday.

Danny Abdallah and his wife Leila shared a photograph to Facebook on Sunday showing the parents standing alongside their five children. The family were all dressed in white and posed behind a photograph of Sienna, 8, Angelina, 12, and Antony, 13. The trio, along with their cousin Veronique Sakr, 11, were killed instantly in the horrific crash that unfolded in Oatlands, western Sydney, on February 1, 2020. Eleven-year-old Charbel Kassas, who was another child in the group of seven kids struck down by the car, was badly injured and spent two months in a coma, while the driver Samuel William Davidson was jailed. The Abdallahs have had two baby girls since the tragedy and shared a powerful message along with the latest family portrait. 'My family is my greatest blessing, filling my life with love, strength, and joy. Antony, Angelina and Sienna are present with us in everything we do,' the caption read. It comes after Danny was seen embracing Davidson as the pair met inside Cessnock Correctional Centre in a Spotlight segment aired on Channel Seven on Sunday night. Davidson had been drunk, high on drugs and speeding when he ploughed into the group of seven children, who were out getting ice cream. Danny and his wife Leila previously explained how they forgave Davidson so as not to 'hold onto hate' for the sake of their remaining children, but just how deep that goes was revealed in the extraordinary meeting. Davidson, 34, had been sentenced to 20 years in prison with a non-parole period of 15 years, but Danny revealed that, if it were up to him, he would see him released tomorrow. 'Whether it's 100 years or one day, it's not going to make me feel any different,' Danny told Seven News Spotlight. He explained his focus was on his children and that whether Davidson was in jail or not made no difference, but he understood that 'justice was more for the community, to see that this type of behaviour is punished'. The two also prayed together during the visit. Davidson previously revealed how he converted to become a Maronite Catholic, the same religion Danny and his family follow, largely due to how they had forgiven him. Davidson also apologised to Danny, his family, emergency service workers who attended the scene, neighbours who witnessed the crash and the wider community, before he shared a warning to not get behind the wheel while intoxicated. In the interview, Davidson also opened up about his hard-drinking lifestyle before the incident, pledging those days were behind him. 'It's a shame that I had to enjoy life under the influence of alcohol or anything like that to enjoy it, because I can tell you my thoughts about that are completely different now,' he told the program. Davidson, who spends up to 17 hours a day inside his cell, said it was important to him to keep a clean cell, the way he would at home. 'I do try and keep it that way because I just think it looks better and yeah, it just makes it more homely. Yeah, I was like that on the outside too,' he said. With a decade still to serve, Davidson said he longed to be able to open and close a door for himself when he is finally freed from custody. 'I've had a dream where I was waiting for a door to open at home. At home you just open a door, you know?' he said. 'Here you've got to wait for a door … freely opening it – I can't wait,' he said. Danny has attributed his decision to forgive Davidson to his Christian faith, but he added it was also necessary for the sake of his marriage and surviving children. 'At the end of the day, I've still got three other kids. I need to be a father too and I need to be a husband to my wife, and it's already hard enough,' he said. Initially, he began speaking with Davidson because he 'needed closure'. But he said he also liked 'confrontation' and needed Davidson to know who he was and the hurt he had caused the family and why they had chosen to forgive him. The Abdallah and Sakr families in 2024 unveiled a permanent memorial to their children at the crash site outside Oatlands Golf Club. Danny and Leila also founded i4give Day, which occurs on February 1 each year, and marks the date of the crash.

Wayne Couzens ' marital home has gone on the market for £280,000 - complete with a hot tub he built in the back garden, the Daily Mail can reveal. The shamed Met police officer, 52, who is serving a whole life sentence for the kidnap, rape and murder of Sarah Everard in 2021, lived there with wife Olena for five years. The couple paid £200,000 for the three-bedroom terrace house in 2016, taking out a mortgage with Nat West Bank, records show. Couzens was arrested at the house in Deal, Kent, by police investigating the brutal killing of Sarah, 33, in a crime that shocked the nation – and left his wife and two children stunned. The disgraced former police officer had handcuffed and 'arrested' Sarah in fake Covid patrol in March 2021, as she walked home through Clapham Common after visiting a friend for dinner. He bundled her into a car, then raped and murdered her, eventually driving to remote woods near Ashford, where he burnt her body and dumped her remains in a pond, with police making the grim discovery six days later. The property is described by estate agents as an 'ideal terraced family house, spacious throughout with three double bedrooms and ample living space'. It goes on: 'The rear garden is a great size and overlooks fields behind. To the front there is a blocked paved driveway and garage. 'The property has been well cared for and has a modern kitchen bathroom and log burner.' The description makes no mention of the hot tub that Couzens built, but in pictures illustrating the house, the timber surround can clearly be seen in the back garden. Other images show a neat and tidy interior with books on shelves and a board game under the table, as well as magnets on the fridge door and a large telescope in the kitchen. The house was put up for sale earlier this year for £300,000 but the price was later reduced by £20,000 after failing to attract interest, despite being close to local amenities, schools and the train station. Ukrainian born Olena was often seen by neighbours walking the family's two pet French bulldogs Napoleon and Josephine and was described as 'warm and friendly' by locals, who added she 'kept a low profile'. Following Couzens arrest in 2021, Olena told the Daily Mail she had kept asking herself 'Why?' adding that it was 'not human behaviour'. She went on: 'If I had any idea what was going on in Wayne's head, then none of this would've happened but I didn't know anything. Couzens was jailed at the Old Baily in September 2021 and trial judge Lord Justice Fulford told him: 'Your wife and children, who on all the evidence, are entirely blameless, will have to live with the ignominy of your dreadful crimes for the rest of their lives.' Dad of missing teen issues cryptic threat after she disappeared just before her 18th birthday
The father of a missing teenage girl shared a cryptic threat amid fears that she may have left with someone she met on social media just days before her 18th birthday. Hannah Osborn was last seen at around 7.40pm on August 9 leaving her parents' house in Bradford, Arkansas. Her parents, Wesley and Crystal, think she may have met someone on Snapchat and fear she may be in danger - as they claim it is unlike the teen to disappear. 'She's had problems with being on Snapchat and meeting people out of town and things, but Hannah has always come home,' Wesley told KATV, adding that there were 'some vehicles spotted on my road about the time that she left.' It remains unclear whether Hannah may have entered one of those mysterious vehicles, but on Facebook, her worried father suggested he may have information about his daughter's disappearance as he issued a mysterious threat. 'It's been a whole week since I've seen your beautiful face!' Wesley wrote on Saturday, sharing a selfie Hannah once took of the two of them. 'I'm coming and I'm bringing Hell with me,' he vowed, declaring: 'I know, they know and everyone will know soon enough!' He then pleaded with whomever may have taken his daughter to 'bring my baby girl home or give her a phone so she can call me!' He suggested he had information about his daughter's disappearance The message came just days after Wesley shared another post, assuring Hannah that she is not in any trouble. 'It's been the hardest five days of our lives, not knowing where you are or what may have happened to you,' he wrote in the post, tagging his daughter. 'We have turned this country upside down searching for you, following every single lead without hesitation, hoping we would see your beautiful face at the end of each one.' Wesley then told Hannah he would 'beat down the doors of Hell to find you and make sure you are safe, and I hope you realize that and know that you are loved and greatly missed. 'I want you to know that no matter what I will always love you,' he continued. 'Good, bad, right or wrong, I will always be here for you. You are my flesh and blood, my baby girl. 'If you are out there and upset with us or whatever the case may be, just know that you're not in trouble,' Wesley added. 'We're not trying to force you to do anything against your will. '[We] just need to hear your voice, look you in the eye (even if it's through FaceTime or whatever) and know that you are OK and happy wherever you are.' Wesley then reiterated the message in a post on Sunday. 'Hannah I love you and we all just need to know that you are OK. Call someone and let us know you're alive. 'Come home and give us a hug and tell us where you want to go or where you want to be. I'll help you gather your things and take you wherever you want to go.' He then went on to say that 'the unknown has our whole family in turmoil and we are all scared to death something has happened to you. 'We will not stop looking for you until we know you are safe,' Wesley wrote, noting: 'This is so unlike you and completely out of your character. 'I can't help but think that you feel the same way, scared and confused,' he mused. 'We love you more than we could ever express in words and I pray you find the courage and are given the opportunity to pick up the phone and call us.' Wesley has told KARK he was outside feeding his cows on the night of August 9 when his wife told him Hannah was gone. 'I called a neighbor and they brought a dog up here and it's like she just vanished,' he recounted. Wesley and Crystal say the disappearance was unusual, noting they were looking forward to celebrating Hannah's birthday with family. 'This is way out of character,' Crystal said. 'This is not Hannah.' The teenager is described as five-foot-nine-inches and weighing about 120 pounds. She has curly, blonde hair, though Wesley has said she frequently straightens it. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, and she was carrying an orange and black backpack.
