Kate Scott stuns alongside her boxing trainer husband at awards ceremony... while glamorous Albanian Champions League presenter Eva Murati also turns heads
The Manchester-born CBS Sports presenter previously went by Kate Abdo before she tied the knot in September 2024 with Malik Scott - an American former heavyweight professional boxer.
Their relationship was first revealed live on air by pundits Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards in December 2023 and since then, Kate, 43, and Malik, 44, have shared the occasional glimpse into their private lives for their social media followers.
And their latest public appearance came at the Sofascore Player of the Season award ceremony, which was produced by CBS.
The event - which took place in Zadar, Croatia - was directed by the multiple Emmy award-winning Pete Radovich - CBS's creative lead for their Champions League coverage.
On the night, Kate wore a glamorous figure-hugging white dress and heels, while Malik donned a black and white chequered shirt, complimented by a black bowler hat.
The boxing trainer - who became Deontay Wilder's head coach for the first part of his trilogy with Tyson Fury in 2021 - also had a cigar in hand and he posed for photos with Kate.
Kate was joined by former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to present the event.
Also commanding attention on the night was glamorous Albanian TV presenter Eva Murati, who boasts over a million followers on Instagram.
The Champions League host, 30, has been anchoring coverage of Europe's elite club competition for Vizion Plus and Tring TV since 2017.
Murati had started work as a television presenter at the age of 18, while working for an Italian-Albanian television channel.
She turned up to the pomp in a slinky blue dress and platform heels, and was seen interviewing some figureheads of the sport.
After equalling the record for goal contributions in a Premier League campaign in 2024-25, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah was voted Sofascore's Player of the Season on the night.
Salah beat the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Cole Palmer and Matheus Cunha to the coveted award.
The 30-year-old wore a tight-fitting blue dress on the red carpet, in a pair of platform heels

The 32-year-old also won the Premier League Player of the Year award, the Golden Boot, the Premier League trophy, the Playmaker of the Year prize and FWA Player of the Year award last season.
Branimir Karacic, Director of Marketing at Sofascore, said: 'The Player of the Season Show is not just a celebration of the best footballers of the season.
'It's a statement of what we believe in – that performance on the pitch, supported by statistical data, deserves global recognition.

Brian Cox: Trump talking 'b*******s' on Scottish independence
Why you can trust Sky News Hollywood actor Brian Cox has told Sky News that Donald Trump is talking "bollocks" after suggesting there should be 50 or 75 years between Scottish independence referendums. The US president said a country "can't go through that too much" when questioned by reporters during his visit to Scotland this week. The Emmy-winning star, who is an independence supporter, has hit back, branding him "that idiot in America". The 79-year-old told Sky News: "He's talking bollocks. I'm sorry, but he does. It's rubbish. Let's get on with it and let's get it [independence] done. We can do it. "It's been tough as there's a great deal of undermining that has gone on." 2:13 SNP fraud probe causing 'harm' Mr Cox said the police fraud investigation examining the SNP's finances has done "enormous harm" to the party and wider independence movement. Nicola Sturgeon was arrested as part of the long-running police probe but cleared of any wrongdoing earlier this year. The former first minister's estranged husband Peter Murrell, who was SNP chief executive for two decades, appeared in court in April to face a charge of alleged embezzlement. He has entered no plea. Brian Cox is preparing to return to the Scottish stage for the first time in a decade in a play about the Royal Bank of Scotland's role in the 2008 financial crash. Ahead of the Edinburgh festival performances, the veteran actor told Sky News: "I think it's a masterpiece. It's certainly one of the best pieces of work I've been involved in. 'My friend Spacey should be forgiven' The Succession star was also asked about his "old friend" Kevin Spacey. The former House of Cards actor, 65, was exiled from the showbiz world in 2017 after allegations of sexual misconduct. Spacey has admitted to "being too handsy" in the past and "touching someone sexually" when he didn't know they "didn't want him to". Spacey stood trial in the UK for multiple sexual offences against four men in July 2023 but was acquitted on all counts. Mr Cox told Sky News: "I am so against cancel culture. Kevin has made a lot of mistakes, but there is a sort of viciousness about it which is unwarranted. "Everybody is stupid as everybody else. Everybody is capable of the same mistakes and the same sins as everybody else." Asked if he could see a return to showbiz for Spacey, Cox replied: "I would think so eventually, but it's very tough for him. "He was tricky, but he has learnt a big lesson. He should be allowed to go on because he is a very fine actor. I just think we should be forgiving."

Liverpool transfer news: New Alexander Isak development as Arne slot breaks silence
Arne Slot's Liverpool aren't slowing down as they look to further bolster a squad which won the Premier League title in their manager's first season at the helm Liverpool have been one of the busiest Premier League clubs this summer but they might not be done. The Reds have already broken the league's transfer record once, and there's a chance they could do it again before the transfer window shuts. That record-breaking £116million move for Florian Wirtz is just one of a number of high-profile deals. Arne Slot's title-holders have also added the likes of Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike as they look to defend their crown. The big remaining question concerns whether Alexander Isak will move to Anfield. Newcastle don't want to part ways with the Sweden international if they can avoid it, but another record bid could force their hand. Liverpool will begin their league campaign at home to Bournemouth on August 15. That leaves them with a fortnight to get more business done. There have also been sales, and there could be more to come. Here are Mirror Football 's latest lines on the ins and outs around Anfield. Slot's response to Diaz deal Arne Slot has spoken for the first time about Luis Diaz's Liverpool exit. Colombian international Diaz has completed a £65.5m move to Bayern Munich, despite the Reds appearing keen to keep him around. "Luis is a player we won the league with and there's a reason we won it with him because he's a very good player," Slot said during Liverpool's pre-season tour. "It's always disappointing to see someone like that leave, to a certain extent. "But on the other hand, we've sold him for a lot of money and, as you probably know even better than I do, this football club brings in unbelievable signings over the years, but part of the strategy is also that once in a while we have to sell someone. I think we did great business by bringing in Lucho for a number of years and then selling him for a very good profit." Isak's comments on his future Liverpool target Alexander Isak helped Newcastle secure a Champions League return with his goals last season. Before the end of the campaign, though, he spoke of a desire to win silverware - and a league title may currently be beyond the Magpies given the spending power of their rivals. "I've said many times, I don't really look too much or think too much about my future," Isak said in the spring. "But yeah, I've said I'm happy here and we are contenders for titles, which is what you want to win as a football player. "The chances are there (to win things). Yeah, as I've said, I'm not thinking about the summer, but that will be a talking point when the season is finished." Isak training in Spain While Liverpool wait to learn if they will be able to land Isak, the striker has begun training with former club Real Sociedad. The striker is working his way back from the minor injury which has kept him out of Newcastle's pre-season tour, with Sky Sports reporting the Magpies were aware of his plans to head to San Sebastian. "He is still our player. He's contracted to us. We, to a degree, control what is next for him," Newcastle boss Eddie Howe said earlier in the week. "I would love to believe all possibilities are still available to us. My wish is that he stays, but that's not in my full control" Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. Lindsay Lohan comes full circle with 'Freakier Friday'
LONDON, July 31 (Reuters) - Lindsay Lohan says she drew upon her own experiences of motherhood for "Freakier Friday", the highly-anticipated sequel to her hit 2003 movie "Freaky Friday". Lohan, 39, welcomed her first child in 2023, a year before the Disney movie was filmed. "It felt full circle for me, and also the timing was pretty impeccable considering that I'm a new mom and I was able to bring being a mom into the character," Lohan said at the film's London premiere on Thursday. "It's the first time I'm able to do that on screen." "Freaky Friday", with a reported budget of $26 million, was a surprise hit, making over $160 million worldwide and obtaining a cult following. The 2025 follow-up sees Lohan and actress Jamie Lee Curtis reprising the roles of mother and daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman. Twenty years on, Anna is a single parent to tomboy teen daughter Harper, played by Julia Butters. Their relationship comes under stress when Anna falls for Eric (Manny Jacinto), the father of Harper's new British classmate Lily (Sophia Hammons), and they decide to get married. The future stepsisters, with a mutual dislike for one another, decide to intervene. While the 2003 film saw a body swap between Tess and Anna, things get "freakier" this time around with Tess and Anna switching bodies with Lily and Harper. Before signing on to the sequel, Lohan ensured that Anna returned as a multi-faceted and relatable character. "It was important to me that we explained who Anna is today and how she's evolved and the dynamic between her and her daughter as she's a single working mom. There are some basic points that I wanted to get across because I want people to see the movie and find a piece of it that they can grab onto and be like, 'okay, I get that'," she said. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the movie also sees actor Chad Michael Murray reprising the role of young Anna's love interest, Jake. Shooting the sequel was a "lovefest", said Murray. "It was the same, but better. It felt very much like connective tissue to the first movie. Everyone loved going to work and no one wanted to go home." "Freakier Friday" marks Lohan's big screen return. "It's obviously nerve-wracking because you want it to be great and you want people to love what you do," she said. "As long as people are enjoying what I'm doing and it's making them happy, then I feel like I'm doing my job and that's what I'm here to do." "Freakier Friday" begins its global cinematic rollout on August 6.
