MANUEL NEUER'S wife has decided to step away from professional sport.
Anika, 24, married the Bayern Munich goalkeeper, 39, in November 2023 and they welcomed a son Luca last year.

Anika is a professional handball player, who plays for ESV 1927 Regensburg in the German second division.
But the left-winger has now opted to walk away from the side to prioritise being a mother.
She said in a statement: "The decision was very difficult for me. I really like the team and I really enjoy playing with the girls.
"I don't see the break as the end of my handball career; I just want to have more time for my son.

"I will miss the girls and handball very much, so I want to particularly enjoy the final games and finish our great season in the best possible way."
The team's coach Bernhard Goldbach added: "It's simply impressive what Ani has achieved on and off the field this season.
"She came back from maternity leave stronger than ever and played in all of her season's games. We can only take our hats off to that."
Neuer married the blonde beauty in a secret ceremony and no official announcement was ever made - but Anika changed her surname on Instagram.

She has since been regularly spotted in the stands cheering him on,.
The two-time Champions League and World Cup winner recently shut down retirement rumours by penning a new contract at Bayern, which runs until the summer of 2026.

Club chiefs apparently believe that Rashford could be a perfect addition as they aim to rebuild the squad in the wake of that defeat. It is also said his signing would go a long way to getting fans back onside. Inter are apparently exploring a long-term loan move, albeit United would prefer a permanent deal. A source as quoted by The Sun said: 'Marcus is open-minded to a move abroad, and a fresh start. Lots of players have made the move from the Premier League to Serie A in recent years and performed very well. That's why the idea of such a switch excites both the player and Inter.' Away from Inter, Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Rashford. Sporting director Deco was recently asked about a potential move but claimed work needed to be done behind the scenes before the Catalan side could consider adding new signings to their squad. 'We have been focusing on renewing contracts, after that, we'll discuss players to come," Deco said to BBC Sport. "Of course, these two players [Rashford and Luis Diaz], like you mentioned, they are good but have contracts in their clubs, so we won't speak because it's not fair. 'But when you decide to go to the market, for sure, we find some names. In my opinion, we don't need to bring many players. When I speak with the agents of the players, everyone wants to come or stay. 'So this is important. The image of the club is still good. We are proud because Barcelona is still such a big club, and the way we are playing football makes players want to come."

Tulisa to recount drugs trial in new memoir detailing her career highs and lows
The pop singer, 36, who found fame in hip-hop trio N-Dubz, was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs in 2013, but the charges were later dismissed after prosecution witness, 'fake sheikh' journalist Mazher Mahmood, was found guilty of tampering with evidence in the trial. The book, titled Judgement, has been written using journals that Contostavlos wrote in amid the media storm following the sting operation that saw Mahmood pose as a wealthy film producer called Samir Khan. In an Instagram video on Tuesday, Contostavlos said: '90% of this no one has ever known. 'This is living all the juiciest moments from behind the scenes. This book will have you crying one moment, on the edge of your seat the next.' She added: 'I have given absolutely all of myself in this book, it's Sex And The City on a drugs charge.' She wrote in the caption: 'As you all know, I've been through the highs and some unimaginable lows in my career. 'For the first time, I'm sharing everything. The singer had been accused of arranging for Mahmood to be sold more than £800 worth of cocaine by one of her contacts following an elaborate sting for The Sun On Sunday in 2013. During a meeting at a hotel in London, Mahmood posed as a film producer and plied Contostavlos with alcohol as they discussed an acting role alongside Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio. Following the collapse of the trial Contostavlos said 'I have never dealt drugs and never been involved in taking or dealing cocaine' in a statement where she also accused Mahmood of a 'horrific and disgusting entrapment'. In 2016 Mahmood was jailed for tampering with evidence in the collapsed drugs trial when the 'King of the Sting' and his driver Alan Smith, were found guilty of plotting to pervert the course of justice. Publishing director, Ciara Lloyd, who has acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to the book, said: 'When I read Tulisa's proposal, I knew instantly that I wanted to publish her. 'I remember the infamous 'Fake Sheikh' trial well and how unfairly Tulisa was treated, a story that highlighted the bias and misogyny in the press, and in our society. 'So, to give a voice to Tulisa and her story as well as showcase her phenomenal talent as a writer is a real privilege. 'This is the perfect redemption story for the original Female Boss, and I'm so proud to be publishing her at Blink.' Contostavlos is most known for singing in hip-hop group N-Dubz who had hits with songs including I Need You, Girls and Number 1, featuring Tinchy Stryder.
