US OPEN action is HERE - with the freshly revamped mixed doubles underway.
Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz will pair up amid dating rumours to face British men's No1 Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula.
Taylor Fritz and Elena Rybakina were on the end of a defeat in the last-16, losing in straight sets to reigning champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.
Venus Williams is set to feature alongside Reilly Opalenka as one of the many big names in action today.
Jannik Sinner withdrew from the event after retiring from the Cincinnati Open final against Alcaraz last night due to illness.
Sinner and his partner, Katerina Siniakova, have been replaced by American duo Danielle Collins and Christian Harrison - and they will face Alexander Zverev and Belinda Bencic this evening.

US Open mixed doubles format
The updated mixed doubles championship will consist of best-of-three-set matches, with short sets of up to four games. If each team claims four games in a set, they'll then play a tiebreak.
There will be no-ad in games that reach a score of deuce (40-all), meaning that the winner of the next point from that scoreline wins the game.
If the teams split sets, a 10-point match tiebreak will be played instead of a third set. The first team to earn 10 points in the tiebreak, with an advantage of two or more points, will win the match.
The final will also be a best-of-three-set match, but with sets in this instance maxing out at six games. It will also have no-ad scoring, though, and will substitute a third set for a 10-point match tiebreak if teams split sets.
Additionally, if teams split games in any given set, they will play a tiebreaker

Sinner WITHDRAWS
Jannik Sinner has pulled out of the new US Open Mixed Doubles Championship – the day after he almost collapsed on a tennis court.
Hours before the revamped, two-day event was due to start in New York, it was announced that the No.1 player in men's tennis had made the call to withdraw and will not take part in the action at Flushing Meadows.
The reigning Wimbledon champion has failed to recover from the illness that blighted his participation in the final of the Cincinnati Open on Monday night.
Sinner, who turned 24 last Saturday, did not feel well after winning his semi-final against French qualifier Térence Atmane but had hoped he would recover in time before facing Carlos Alcaraz.
Yet he only lasted five completed games of the first set before telling a trainer and tournament official in Ohio: 'I cannot move – I feel like I can collapse.'
Sinner, who holds three of the four majors, apologised to fans as medics rushed over to treat him and he was heard saying: 'I tried, but I can't. I'm sorry for the fans.'
It is not thought to be serious enough to prevent him from defending his US Open crown with the singles tournament starting this Sunday.
Yet his absence is a huge blow to organisers behind the reimagined US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, which has a $1million prize for the winning team.
Sinner and Czech player Katerina Siniakova will not take part now – they had been due to face German Alexander Zverev and Switzerland's Belinda Bencic in the Last 16 at the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
They will be replaced in the draw by an alternate team with the highest combined singles ranking.
Those alternates had to sign-up by 10.30am on Tuesday but priority is shown to those that had been entered before the initial July 28 deadline.
All eyes will be on how Alcara, 22, performs after a mad dash from Cincinnati to the Big Apple as he teams up with British No.1 Emma Raducanu.
The first and second rounds will be played on Tuesday while semi-finals and final are scheduled for Wednesday evening.
Through the semifinals, matches will be best of three sets with short sets to four games.
There is no-ad scoring, tiebreakers at four-all and a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set.

Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper face qualifiers in US Open first round

Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper will both face qualifiers in the opening round of the US Open. The pair are the leading British hopes for success in New York, with Draper bidding to follow up last year's breakthrough run to the semi-finals. Seeded fifth, the draw initially appears to have been kind to the 23-year-old, although he could face defending champion Jannik Sinner a round earlier than last year in the last eight. Draper will hope to find form quickly on his favoured hard courts after being forced to sit out the recent Masters 1000 events in Canada and Cincinnati because of an arm injury. He has not played a competitive singles match since a disappointing loss to Marin Cilic in the second round of Wimbledon but did play three contests in the revamped mixed doubles tournament here alongside American Jessica Pegula, with the pair beating Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz in their opening match. Raducanu has continued her strong season over the last couple of months, elevating her ranking to 35 in the world but just missing out on a seeding by one spot. She is still looking for her first victory at Flushing Meadows since claiming the title in 2021 as a qualifier and, while she is likely to be strongly favoured in the opening round, things will get tougher from there. In the second round, the 22-year-old could face 24th seed Veronika Kudermetova, while ninth seed Elena Rybakina is a potential third-round opponent. Raducanu will fancy her chances against anyone in the field, though, having taken world number one Aryna Sabalenka all the way to a deciding tie-break in Cincinnati last week in her first tournament under new coach Francisco Roig. The other British women have been handed tough draws, with Katie Boulter, who has struggled since Wimbledon, taking on 27th seed Marta Kostyuk and Sonay Kartal meeting 11th seed Beatriz Haddad Maia. In the men's draw, Wimbledon quarter-finalist Cameron Norrie faces American Sebastian Korda while Jacob Fearnley will make his US Open debut against Roberto Bautista Agut, with the winner likely to meet third seed Alexander Zverev. Top seed Sinner, who was on court practising on Thursday three days after retiring in tears with illness in Monday's final in Cincinnati against Alcaraz, is in the opposite half of the draw to both Novak Djokovic and the Spaniard, who faces a tricky opener against giant American Reilly Opelka. Defending women's champion Sabalenka plays Spain's Rebeka Masarova in round one while second seed Iga Swiatek and third seed Coco Gauff are both in the bottom half. Forty-five-year-old Venus Williams, who returns to the tournament as a wild card 28 years after making her debut, faces a tough opener against 11th seed Karolina Muchova. Play in the main draws begins on Sunday.
