Coronation Street reveals major Gary Windass story as attack is confirmed
Coronation Street has confirmed Gary Windass' (Mikey North) whereabouts after the character seemingly vanished into thin air. The character said he was heading off on a trip to Durham to visit mum Anna (Debbie Rush), but hasn't been seen since. His brief holiday took place after an eventful few weeks, having found himself caught between wife Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) and dangerous Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty). Lou developed quite the crush on Gary, attempting to kiss him and incriminating messages to herself from his phone. The blackmail got the better of him and he fled. Since then, he's failed to return to Weatherfield. Maria's only contact will be a message saying he's stopping off to see a mate, but by next week, there's still no sign of him. In upcoming scenes, Liam's (Charlie Wrenshall) birthday, and as his mum and uncle Kirk (Andrew Whyment) gift him his presents, they all begin to ponder where Gary has gone. Little do they realise, he's actually in a coma and fighting for his life – just around the corner at Weathy General. But how did he end up in this situation? We'll see desperate Maria report him as a missing person to Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), who then learns about an unidentified patient. He's sure that it isn't Gary, but it becomes clear that his attacker is going to extreme lengths to conceal their crime and cover their tracks. They're even pretending to be his next of kin! 'Maria and Gary are going through a bit of a rough patch at the minute and initially she's upset that he's left but doesn't think too much into it,' Samia told us. Dementia fears for Bear in Emmerdale as Paddy worries for his dad
Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is continuing to grow worried about his father Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) in Emmerdale. In recent weeks, Bear's behaviour has changed. Shortly after he began fixing an old bike at Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) garage, Bear snapped at Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). He grabbed the young man and shouted at him, a move that left Paddy concerned. Yesterday, Paddy was surprised once again when Bear announced his plans to depart the village temporarily. He spoke about an old wrestling friend in Ireland and how he wants to fix his bike so he can go and see him. Paddy, thinking this would benefit his dad a fair bit, was happy for him, but his mood changed when Bear revealed he'd be gone for 2-3 months. The fear that something is going on with his father continued for Paddy in tonight's episode. When he briefly popped home, he found Bear and Eve playing together. It was a sweet scene but not for very long, as Paddy told his dad that Eve was meant to be at school. Bear had no recollection of this conversation and claimed that Paddy did not tell him to take the young girl to school. As Paddy sent Eve to her bedroom for her uniform, there was concern on his face. It was very clear his dad was changing, he just didn't know why. In The Hide, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) happened to spot Paddy looking worried. He opened up about his dad and his sudden mood swings, and it reminded her of the period just before the Thomas family knew Ashley had dementia. More Trending Paddy pondered over the thought of his dad also having this, and tried to tell Bear that it might be a good idea to book a doctor's appointment. Sadly, Bear remained set in his ways. As far as he was concerned, there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? The latest gossip from Emmerdale? When Gabby approached, Paddy explained that he couldn't persuade Bear. She then gave him food for thought, telling Paddy that it's very possible to do some online memory tests with Bear and just not actually tell him. Given how often Bear's anger reaches the surface at the moment it is a risk, but Paddy is terribly worried. Will the tests help? Emmerdale's Robert gains unexpected new ally in mission to take down John
Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) made a new friend in tonight's Emmerdale as he realised not everyone in the village is a fan of his brother John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth). A few weeks ago, John visited Robert in prison in an attempt to keep him away from the village, but more specifically, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). Robert pushed John's buttons so much, he grew incredibly angry and frustrated. John threatened his brother, saying that he could take his life, and that he had no idea what he's capable of. Ever since, Robert has kept this interaction at the front of his mind. He returned to Emmerdale a couple of days later and told John and Aaron that he was back to spend more time with his family, but it was obvious he also wanted to get his ex away from his distant brother, who he thinks is dangerous. Well, he's not wrong. Yesterday, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) grew frustrated over being torn between her two brothers and decided to do something about it. She took John and Robert to some old family land and said their past relatives would never let fights bother them for very long, because they had to work together at the end of the day. John and Robert understood what Vic was trying to say and shook hands. However, because this happened away from where Victoria was standing, she failed to hear John and Robert's conversation as they made it abundantly clear they only intended to play happy families for their sister. Continuing the act tonight, John and Robert found themselves attending a lunch at The Hide. It was terribly awkward, and Vic was definitely trying too hard. Afterwards, Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) paid a visit to Vic to inform her that he'd be moving back to Butlers. Conversation then turned to the fact Robert still needs a job after losing his trial at the depot. Knowing exactly what it's like to re-adjust to normal life after time in prison, Matty gave Robert a chance and a few hours on the farm. When Robert turned up at the barn, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) expressed his worry over Robert working alongside John, but he said it wouldn't be a problem. Robert's shift at Butlers ended up going quite well. So much so, he decided to join Mack and Matty that afternoon for a few drinks in the pub. As Matty went to the bar, Robert and Mack started talking about John. More Trending Robert realised that Mackenzie wasn't a massive fan of John. He said that he really didn't like him previously, but his opinion of him has changed slightly due to John having his back a couple of times. Despite this, Robert seemed to focus on the fact Mack does not share the same opinion as everyone else when it comes to John.
