
'India gives health mantra to world in form of yoga,' says Uttarakhand CM Dhami

on Tuesday said that in the form of yoga, India has given the mantra of health and wellness to the world.

In this sequence, the state-level program of the 11th Yoga Day is being organised in Bhararisain.
This time, the state-level program of International Yoga Day to be held on June 21 will be organised in the Bhararisain Assembly Complex located in Chamoli district. Ambassadors from 10 countries will participate along with CM Dhami.
Director Ayurvedic and UnServices Dr Vijay Kumar Jogdande said that, like every year, International Yoga Day will be celebrated on a large scale across the state on June 21.
In this sequence, the main state-level program is being organised in the Bhararisain Assembly Complex located in Chamoli district. Along with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, ambassadors of 10 countries will also participate in this event; all the above dignitaries will reach Bhararisain by the afternoon of June 20.
Overall, more than a thousand people will participate in the main event. Therefore, in view of the program's extensiveness, preparations have been started on a large scale.
On this day, the 11th International Yoga Day will be celebrated on a grand scale across the state.
Earlier on Sunday, with less than a month remaining for the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY), PM Modi, in the 122nd episode of Mann Ki Baat, inspired citizens across the globe to embrace yoga for holistic well-being and vibrant living, an official statement by the Ministry of AYUSH said.
The Prime Minister observed that enthusiasm for Yoga Day continues to surge both in India and internationally.

"Since the beginning of 'Yoga Day' on 21 June 2015, the attraction towards it is rising continuously. This time too, the zeal and enthusiasm among people all over the world with regard to Yoga Day is amply visible," he stated. PM Modi further urged people to think creatively about celebrating the occasion.
From forming Yoga Chains to practicing yoga at iconic sites, people are turning IDY into a dynamic and inclusive movement.
In his address, the PM lauded the efforts of Andhra Pradesh, where the YogAndhra Abhiyan has been launched to develop a robust yoga culture in the state. The campaign aspires to build a pool of 10 lakh regular yoga practitioners, exemplifying how states can lead from the front in the wellness revolution. He also shared his excitement about joining this year's IDY celebrations in Visakhapatnam, emphasising yoga's importance in personal and national development.

New Delhi: The newly launched Ayush Nivesh Saarthi portal is rooted in tradition and signals India's readiness for holistic healthcare, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said. Developed by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with Invest India, Ayush Nivesh Saarthi is a dedicated, investor-centric digital platform. It brings together policy frameworks, incentive structures, investment-ready projects, and real-time facilitation under one unified interface. It is designed to support both domestic and global investors, the platform is a strategic tool that strengthens India's standing as a global investment destination for traditional systems of medicine. The Ayush Nivesh Saarthi portal was launched on May 29 during the Ayush stakeholder/industry interaction meeting held at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi. The historic move positions India as the global epicentre for traditional medicine and wellness. 'With 100 per cent FDI permitted in the Ayush sector through the automatic route, the launch of Ayush Nivesh Saarthi is a signal to the world that India is open for investment, collaboration, and innovation in holistic healthcare,' said Piyush Goyal, during the launch. 'India's Ayush ecosystem is rooted in deep tradition but is powered by modern vision. Through this portal, we are not only connecting investors with opportunities but with India's ancient legacy of wellness,' he added. The Ayush industry has emerged as one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country, recording an annual growth of 17 per cent between 2014 and 2020. With rising global consumer interest in natural, preventive, and wellness-based healthcare, Ayush is at the forefront of a new wave in global health and lifestyle transformation. 'Ayush Nivesh Saarthi is more than a digital platform -- it is an enabler of transformation. One lakh people from Vizianagaram will take part in Yoga programme at Bhimili: Joint Collector Sedhu Madhavan
Vizianagaram Joint Collector Sedhu Madhavan directed officials of all the departments concerned to mobilis around one lakh people from Vizianagaram district and encourage them to participate in mega yoga programme to be held in Bheemunipatnam of Visakhapatnam district on the eve of International Yoga Day to be observed on June 21. According to him, mobilisation of one lakh people would be easy as Bheemunipatnam is very close to several mandals of Vizianagaram district. As the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in the event, the district is planning to make it as a grand success and bring laurels to the district with its efforts to gather huge number of people for the programme. who visited various tourism spots including Thatipudi reservoir directed the officials to arrange yoga camps in a big way. Chintapalli, Ramateertham, Thatipudi, and other areas were selected for special yoga camps planned between June 6 to June 19. T-shirts, yoga mats have to be given to the participants. Spot registration desks are needed to be established at those selected places since many of them might have not registered their names in Yogandhra portal. Vizianagaram District Rural Development Agency Project Director Kalyana Chakravarthi and other officials assured Mr. Madhavan that the special care would be taken up all yoga programmes planned in different places of the district as well as Bheemunipatnam. Mr. Chakravarthi said that all the participants will be provided bus facility to reach Bheemunipatnam by 5.30 pm on June 21. He said that youngsters were keen to participate in the mega event.
