Arguably the biggest question born of the (already-renewed!) Fox drama's inciting incident had to do with a mistake that Richard made, before colleague Dr. Amy Larsen's (Molly Parker) life-changing car accident, when treating an older patient, 83-year-old Bill Dixon, who had choked on, well, a ham sandwich. Richard accidentally pushed Metoprolol, a beta blocker, into the patient's IV, causing him to code and then die.
Amy of course does not remember uncovering Richard's mistake, but her review of email drafts — namely a curious one with only the subject line 'Dixon' — set her on a journey that tagged in Nurse Julie, who in turn was curious to see that Dixon's autopsy report had restricted access. Julie asked Richard about it, and he said/lied that he would circle back with Amy himself.
Instead, he made a beeline to his lawyer.
'My negligence killed a man, and then I lied about it,' Richard affirmed to his increasingly anxious lawyer. 'How do you defend that?'
Richard's lawyer suggested that maybe perhaps possibly there could be/might be an 'alternate theory' about why Dixon died. Afterwards, we saw Richard privately huddle with Nurse Liz, who was with him when Dixon coded. Amy meanwhile learned of Richard's slipperiness from Julie, then paid a visit to Dr. Franco from pathology, who recalled that Dr. Miller had (atypically) made changes to the deceased's medical file, removing the mention of Metoprolol. When Amy asked Liz for her recollection of the event, the young nurse, fresh from her meeting with Dr. Miller, said that he had taken Amiodarone from her cart and administered it himself. Liz then urged Dr. Larsen to not dig into the matter further.
Dig Amy did, though, marching into Richard's office to declare, 'I know what happened to Dixon' — that after the patient aspirated and Richard called a code, he mistakenly administered Metoprolol. The old Amy had figured it out, and 'that is why you were so keen to get rid of me' after the accident, she surmised.
Caught dead to rights, Richard somehow had the temerity to 'correct' Amy, saying, 'I didn't kill Bill Dixon; you did,' by going behind his back weeks prior to write Dixon a script for Metoprolol and then fail to add it to the man's chart.
'I haven't been covering my ass, Amy,' he added. 'I've been covering yours.'
Amy tried to wave off the accusation, but Richard said that Liz would back him up, because she was there when Amy wrote the prescription.
Hit by a ton of bricks by this devastating 'news,' Amy was emotionally vulnerable when she ran into ex-husband Michael in the elevator. Sensing her distress, Michael pulled her into a comforting hug, and a face caress… which turned into a long, passionate, yearning kiss.
What did you think of this week's , and what are your predictions for the already-renewed freshman drama's Season 1 finale next week? Did Amy make the right call with TJ's father? How tall is Dave Portnoy? Embattled Barstool boss sets record straight at Miami park

The tables are turning. Usually the one doing the trolling, Dave Portnoy – infamous for making inappropriate jokes, thrashing underlings and having absolutely zero filter – is currently catching some major shade. Over what, now? Some personal stats. The controversial Barstool Sports founder was lambasted online over his height, with one X user over the weekend posting pictures of him standing on his tiptoes in selfies with taller people. 'Of all the lies told about me this is the most egregious,' Portnoy responded. 'People are literally photoshopping me standing on my tippy toes now.' X then shared a community note, fact checking that Portnoy had indeed posed this way in previous pictures. On Tuesday morning, Portnoy met up with FOX & Friends coast-to-coast host Steve Doocy for 'The Morning Walk,' to clear up the matter. The pair did a lap around Margaret Pace Park in Miami's Edgewater neighborhood, a few miles south of Portnoy's house. While covering a wide range of topics, including his One Bite pizza reviews and rescue dog Miss Peaches, the chat obviously turned to the topic du jour. 'Well, something that is boiling up on the Internet right now is your height, because they say you're short or something like that,' Doocy said. 'I'm 5'10' and a half,' responded the 48-year-old who looked at least a few inches shorter than the journalist, who estimated he was 'about' six feet tall. But when the two stand back to back, their heads are almost completely aligned. Someone off camera says they're 'even.' 'We're even?' Doocy asked. 'Take that, Internet!' 'All right, then. I'm six feet,' Portnoy boasted. 'Listen, people want to come for the crown. They want to hate on me for different reasons. They come at the height. That's the best they can do. It's a blatant lie.'

Photos: Couple returns to Biltmore for dream wedding after Helene squashed original plans

Eight months after Hurricane Helene interrupted one couple's wedding plans at the Biltmore Estate, the lovebirds returned to the historic site to finally have the wedding of their dreams. On May 31, Jansen and Travis returned to the estate to have the dream wedding they originally planned to have before Helene. Photos from the ceremony show the couple standing under an arch of light peach and lavender blooms, surrounded by their wedding party and guests on the front lawn of the Biltmore Estate. A member of the Biltmore team, who became ordained on the day of the storm to officiate Jansen and Travis's impromptu wedding, officiated their dream wedding, as well. "It's a powerful reminder that love, backed by community and perseverance, always finds its moment," Biltmore officials said in a statement. "Biltmore and the Asheville area are open, resilient, and welcoming travelers and destination weddings after Tropical Storm Helene." Jansen and Travis Putnam were preparing for their wedding ceremony at the Biltmore last fall when Helene wreaked unimaginable damage around the Asheville destination and throughout western North Carolina, forcing those inside the Biltmore to shelter in place. Couple Gets Impromptu Biltmore Wedding Amid Helene As Stranded Guests Save The Ceremony The couple were faced with the possibility of having to cancel their wedding. However, within a matter of hours, the hotel staff and guests organized a small, impromptu ceremony for the bride and groom, allowing them to tie the knot. When Helene struck, it dropped nearly 30 inches of rain – or about four months' worth – in only three days in parts of western North Carolina. The storm caused deadly floods and mudslides that completely reshaped, or in some cases, destroyed some towns. How To Watch Fox Weather Damage caused by Helene around the Biltmore Estate forced the historic site to temporarily shut down. It then reopened on Nov. 2, in time for their annual event "Christmas at the Biltmore." The story of the Biltmore Estate goes back to 1888, when George Vanderbilt visited Asheville for the first time and began buying land for what would become his new country home. According to Biltmore officials, Vanderbilt chose the area because he was captivated by the beauty of the Blue Ridge article source: Photos: Couple returns to Biltmore for dream wedding after Helene squashed original plans
