Jordon Hudson was around Bill Belichick in 2021 while he was coaching Patriots: Pablo Torre
Jordon Hudson was a presence around Bill Belichick's football life long before his days at the University of North Carolina.
The 24-year-old girlfriend of the eight-time Super Bowl winner had been around as early as the fall of 2021, when Belichick was still calling the shots with the Patriots, according to new reporting from podcaster Pablo Torre.
During an appearance on 'Toucher & Hardy' on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston on Thursday, the ex-ESPNer revealed that Hudson was spotted around Belichick long before the January 2023 sighting of the coach walking New Orleans with the then unknown-Hudson.

'Something people may not know, that I didn't even have time for in the episode, is the first time people spotted Jordon Hudson around the Patriots, around Bill Belichick, was when he was the coach of the Patriots,' Torre said. 'In the fall of 2021, it wasn't 2023. They've known about her showing up as early as the fall of 2021. She was sitting, I was told, in Bill's outdoor seats at Gillette [Stadium]. She was spotted in those seats as early as that.
'So the question of who is this person coming around now? What's her deal? What does she want? These videos are leaking. Now she's making a series of behind-the-scenes disasters. Showing up at commercial shoots uninvited. Scripted, million-dollar things. This is what I say, Belichick's been around to watch all of it.'
Torre has had a bevy of scoops about the relationship that has captivated the football world and has thrown the long-standing image of the gruff football coach on its head in recent weeks.

Last week, he released an entire episode of his podcast, 'Pablo Torre Finds Out,' and as part of it, explained Hudson had attempted to thrust herself into a commercial that Belichick was shooting.
In subsequent appearances on other shows, Torre also reported that Belichick's family is concerned about how the Ring cam footage of a shirtless Belichick scurrying out of a home in the early hours of the morning had ended up in the hands of the media.
And during Thursday's appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub, he again reported those concerns.
'[Belichick's family members] are panicked that the thing that their family — that he has built as the patriarch of his family — the Logan Roy of their 'Succession' story, that it's being incinerated by a 24-year-old, who doesn't know what she's doing,' Torre said. 'They're freaked out. I mean, look, as a human, as a human level — concern. Imagine it, right? Like, hold on, your 70-year-old dad shows up on a leaked Ring cam video, shirtless.

'It's an incredible artifact. It's the thing that [Tom] Brady made fun of at his roast. It's the thing that everybody has known about, but imagine if you're one of Bill Belichick's family members. Like, my first instinct would not be, 'Look at the D-Cup on dad.' It's: 'How many other videos are out there like this that he had no idea were being filmed? Who leaked this? How did this get out?''
While the relationship between the two had been a source of intrigue, it has created a firestorm after Belichick's awkward interview with 'CBS Sunday Morning,' where Hudson interjected herself to shut down a question about how the couple met.
Hudson and Belichick saw their relationship go public last June, three years after the two met on a flight from Boston to West Palm Beach in Feb. 2021.

Chargers returning to San Diego for pair of training camp practices
The Los Angeles Chargers will be back in San Diego for two training camp practices this summer, the team announced Thursday. The Chargers will hold the pair of practices at Torero Stadium on the University of San Diego's campus on July 22-23. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2017, the Chargers spent 56 years in San Diego, beginning in the AFL in 1961. This tenure included an AFL championship in 1963, a Super Bowl appearance in the 1994-95 season and 11 playoff wins. The team played in Los Angeles for its inaugural season in 1960. Owner Dean Spanos and the city of San Diego failed to reach an agreement on a new stadium in the city, causing Spanos to uproot the franchise and move north. --Field Level Media Field Level Media 2025 - All Rights Reserved

Steelers' Super Bowl odds improve with Aaron Rodgers coming
The Pittsburgh Steelers' futures were adjusted by many sportsbooks with Thursday's news that quarterback Aaron Rodgers has agreed to a one-year contract. While speculation has been rampant throughout the offseason that the four-time league MVP would ultimately play a 21st NFL season with the Steelers, there was still a chance Rodgers would sign elsewhere or retire. Circa Sports told Field Level Media that Pittsburgh's Super Bowl odds at the book shortened from +600 to +500 following Thursday's news, while the Steelers' odds of winning the AFC shifted from +2600 to +1800. At DraftKings, the Steelers are now being offered at +4000 to win the Super Bowl, +2000 to win the AFC and +550 to win the AFC North. Their over/under win total is 8.5 games Rodgers, 41, reportedly plans to fly to Pittsburgh to sign the contract and intends to participate in the Steelers' mandatory minicamp next week. The Steelers were the NFL team in greatest need of a quarterback and open the 2025 season against Rodgers' former team at the New York Jets on Sept. 7. Rodgers will likely start opposite Pittsburgh's Week 1 starter last season, Justin Fields, who joined the Jets in free agency. Before Rodgers' long-expected agreement, Mason Rudolph was the presumed starter for the Steelers. Rudolph returned to the Steelers after one season with the Tennessee Titans. Pittsburgh moved on from Russell Wilson, who replaced Fields seven games into the 2024 regular season, who is also projected to start in New York as a member of the Giants. Rodgers comes to Pittsburgh after two disappointing seasons with the Jets. He suffered a season-ending torn Achilles on the fourth play of the 2023 season, his first with Gang Green; the Jets then went 5-12 behind Rodgers in 2024, causing the franchise to clean house. The 10-time Pro Bowler who won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers in 2011 had also been linked to Green Bay's division rival, the Minnesota Vikings, who instead will move forward with J.J. McCarthy under center. --Field Level Media Field Level Media 2025 - All Rights Reserved

4 takeaways from the Steelers signing of Aaron Rodgers
After a long wait, the Pittsburgh Steelers finally have their quarterback. According to multiple reports, Aaron Rodgers is headed to Pittsburgh and will sign his contract in time to get started with the team at their mandatory minicamp next week. This has been a long time coming even if we all assumed this was how it would go. Here are our big takeaways from the pending signing. Aaron Rodgers will be welcomed with open arms I know there has been some grumbling and some players have made off-hand comments here and there about Rodgers dragging this out. But make no mistake, Rodgers will be welcomed by every player on the roster when he shows up because they know the NFL is a business and they know Rodgers can play. The NFL was banking Rodgers signing with the Steelers All you have to do is look at the Steelers schedule and you know there was nothing random about how things played out. Pittsburgh is running a crazy gauntlet of games aimed at either former Steelers quarterbacks playing the Steelers or Rodgers against his old teams, and that isn't an accident. Rodgers signing won't change a thing about the 2026 NFL draft I know there will be plenty of fans who don't like this addition because they think this addition will make the Steelers just good enough to end up with a lower draft pick and not be abel to secure a top quarterback in the 2026 NFL draft. This won't be an issue. If the Steelers are set on a particular quarterback next year, they have the draft capital to move up and get them and Rodgers will be gone. Rodgers makes the team better If you ask most fans, they were not looking forward to watching Mason Rudolph start 17 games this season because the team isn't good with Rudolph at quarterback. Rodgers might not make the Steelers a Super Bowl contender or even that much better in terms of overall record. But it will be more watchable, competitive football.
