Man charged over crash that left three in hospital
A man has been charged in connection with a crash in Moray which left three people in hospital.
Part of the A96 between Elgin and Alves was closed for several hours following the incident involving a bus and a van on 20 May.
Three people between the ages of 37 and 60 were taken to Dr Grey's Hospital for treatment.
A 37-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal.

Subway workers vote to strike in row over pay and working conditions
Subway workers who feel 'devalued and ignored' have voted for strike action in a dispute over pay and working conditions, a union has said. Unite said more than 100 staff employed in Glasgow's Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) subway voted by 97.5% in favour of industrial action, with a series of 24-hour stoppages planned later this month. Strikes are to take place on June 21, 25, 27 and 28 while an overtime ban will be in place from June 13. The union warned that chronic under-staffing has led to the subway system struggling, with train drivers and station staff often working up to 10 hours over their contract of 39 hours per week. Unite said that SPT has not made any improvements, and that staff are frequently called in to work additional shifts at short notice. The subway system will be closed on the day of the Punk All Dayer festival in Bellahouston Park, which features acts like Sex Pistols, the Sting, Simple Minds and Stereophonics Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: 'Unite's Glasgow subway members membership feel totally devalued and ignored. 'We will not tolerate our members being exhausted and underpaid. The subway system is running on empty. 'SPT has had every opportunity to resolve the chronic issues that have resulted in this dispute but have chosen not to act.' Andrew Brown, Unite industrial officer, said: 'The strike action will cause major disruption across the subway system but this is entirely the fault of SPT's management which has continuously ignored the workers' concerns about being overstretched and under-staffed.' SPT has been approached for comment.

Missing teen struggled with his mental health, says brother
A missing teenager had been struggling with his mental health "for a while", his brother has said. Cole Cooper, 19, hasn't been heard from since he went on a night out with friends in Falkirk on 3 May. His older brother Connor told BBC Newsbeat that Cole had experienced suicidal thoughts and depression before his disappearance. Connor, 22, said his family had tried to offer support but it had been rejected. "That's the difficult bit for me as his brother," Connor said. "Just because I'm preparing for the worst, and I just wish he would take that help that we offered." Cole was officially reported missing on Friday 9 May, and the last-known CCTV footage of him was recorded on the morning of 4 May. Connor said it had been suggested to him that Cole might have taken "time out" for his mental health, but he didn't feel that explained his brother's long absence. "It didn't sit right with me," he said. "I can get that if you're in that state of mind you might want to escape reality. "But four weeks down the line is where it gets a lot more concerning." Police Scotland said Cole had not used his phone or bank cards in the time he'd been missing - something Connor said he found particularly worrying. A witness, who told police they knew Cole, reported seeing him on 7 May in Longcroft, near his home village of Banknock. Connor says he has questions about the sighting. "We've not got footage to back it up," said Connor. "As well as that, I just don't believe you go missing, pop up three or four days later and go missing again." Officers have visited more than 200 homes and obtained more than 1,000 hours of CCTV footage. Search teams, helicopters, drones and divers have also searched the local area. Cole's family have carried out their own searches, with one taking place on Sunday. "Your mind plays tricks on you at times when you're out looking," Connor said. "Because you're looking back and going 'did I see something or not?'. "You get that bad feeling in your stomach. "You're needing to mentally prepare yourself, not just coming across maybe a phone or his wallet, but you're preparing yourself going into these areas thinking, 'could we find Cole?'." Connor said the community searches have looked in canal areas, woodland and fields. He said the past month had been "hell" for Cole's family and friends. "It's brutal. I wouldn't wish this on anyone," he said. 3 May: Cole was on a night out with friends. 4 May: He was captured on CCTV multiple times around Nisbet Drive, Longcroft Road and Hogan Path in the early hours of Sunday morning. He was seen approaching the door of his father's house at 05:49 before leaving four minutes later. The last CCTV footage of Cole was at 06:00 on Cumbernauld Road. Police 'increasingly concerned' for missing Cole Cooper Family and friends lead search for missing Falkirk teenager 7 May: A witness said they saw Cole at around 20:45 on the A803 at the Intersection with Cumbernauld Road, Longcroft. Cole had been living in Falkirk and is known to have links to the Denny, Cumbernauld and Paisley areas. Edinburgh gang war continues in west as thugs torch taxi owned by dad of Mr Big's girlfriend
The father of the girlfriend of the Scottish gangster orchestrating the ongoing gangland feud across Edinburgh and the west has had is taxi firebombed. George Newall's black cab was torched outside the family home on Wednesday, May 28, leaving it extensively damaged, reports The Daily Record. His daughter, Olivia Newall, is the girlfriend of Ross 'Miami' McGill and has moved to Dubai where he now lives. The incident occurred on Glasgow's Kingswood Drive in the city's Kings Park district. One local said: 'We could not believe it. It is a very quiet area around here and then this happens. 'George is a lovely man. Hard-working. Honest and just trying to make a living. 'He does not need this hassle on his own doorstep.' Ms Newall is the cousin of a man called Lloyd Cross who last year was jailed for his part in a £100million cocaine-smuggling plot. It was masterminded by Jamie 'the Iceman' Stevenson, once dubbed 'Scotland's most wanted man.' Cross was given a six-year sentence after pleading guilty to serious organised crime and drug offences. The 32-year-old is a close friend of McGill's having grown up less than a mile away from each other. Their friendship was also solidified through their involvement in the Rangers ultra group, the Union Bears. The attack on Newall's cab took place as reports of a truce in Scotland's gang war emerged. It was claimed that McGill had agreed to pull back on a series of bitter attacks launched against Edinburgh mob boss Mark Richardson and his close associate, Steven 'Bonzo' Daniel, from the notorious Glasgow Daniel crime clan. McGill has been waging war on the pair since March after Richardson's cronies ripped him off in a £500k cocaine deal. A number of properties, cars and business linked to Richardson and Daniel have been torched and shot at in recent months while pals of the hoods have been attacked with machetes. Neither kingpin appears to have retaliated against McGill until news of Newall's taxi emerged, just days before two key Lyons lieutenants were brutally executed in Spain. Eddie Lyons jnr and Ross Monaghan were gunned down at a bar in Fuengirola on Saturday night.
