Winning a title wouldn't be such a huge leap for Brynäs who, despite being promoted from the tier-two HockeyAllsvenskan last season, finished first in the SHL regular-season standings and went all the way to the league finals, losing to Lulea in six games.
Delia joins a Brynäs team that has several big-name players, including Jakob Silfverberg, Johan Larsson, Robert Hägg, Oskar Lindblom, Michal Kempný and Christian Djoos.
Delia is the only healthy goaltender under contract right now, as former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Erik Källgren isn't expected back until early 2026 after undergoing hip surgery.
'Collin is well-deserved and we have followed him for a long time,' said Brynäs sports director Johan Alcén. 'He's a goalie who always gives his best for the team and knows what is required at the highest level. He is very well-educated and incredibly good on his skates. It will be exciting to work with him and see what he can achieve in our environment.'

Born in Rancho Cucamonga, Cal., Delia played three years of NCAA hockey at Merrimack College and then signed as a free agent with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2017. Between 2017 and 2022, he played 32 NHL games with Chicago, spending the rest of the time with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs.
In 2022, Delia signed with the Vancouver Canucks, starting the season in the minors, third in the team's goaltending depth chart, but played 20 NHL games that season after Thatcher Demko was injured and Spencer Martin faltered in the starting role.
Delia spent the last two seasons in the minor-league systems of the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers.
In 52 NHL games, Delia has a goals-against average of 3.51, a save percentage of .897, a record of 19-18-7 and no shutouts. This is his first contract to play in Europe.

Even despite Leicester's noted struggles last term, Vardy hit double figures in the English top flight and he might fancy one last stab at European football before he hangs up his boots. The Mail on Sunday report that he has been 'uncharacteristically slow' to decide on his future and indicate he is considering a few options over his future. Whether one of them is Ibrox is unclear but they do note Rangers are a "massive global name" – the likes of which Vardy has never notched on his CV so far. And it's added that prestige could well lead to Vardy choosing them over the likes of Championship new boys Wrexham, who are chasing an unprecedented fourth straight promotion. Elsewhere Carl Rushworth likely won't be joining Rangers after Brighton decided against loaning the keeper to Ibrox – and Coventry could be set to take advantage. The keeper, who was Russell Martin's No.1 at Swansea, was Brighton's second choice for much of last season but is still yet to make his senior debut for the Seagulls. Reports earlier this summer indicated Rangers were keen on bringing him in to compete with Jack Butland and Liam Kelly. But more recently it's been claimed that deal is off with Rangers instead looking at Sheffield Wednesday's Pierce Charles. Frank Lampard's Coventry may be the side to pounce on Rushworth though and former Aston Villa defender Lee Hendrie told Football League World: "You look at any player or any goalkeeper really that's played or been around the top level, then I think it's a big coup for any football club to bring in someone whose Premier League bound, and particularly being linked with Rangers, which looks like it's collapsed. 'I think Frank (Lampard) will be looking at that and knowing it's a really good signing. "I think that's an area they haven't really struggled with goalkeeper-wise, but having someone of his calibre would be a really good addition to Coventry City.' Lanarkshire derby kicks off KDM Evolution Trophy
A Lanarkshire derby kicks off the KDM Evolution Trophy when the Champions League-style competition kicks off in August. John Rankin's side will host their young derby rivals at Broadwood on the midweek of August 12 to kick off the competition, which was known last season as the SPFL Trust Trophy. A revamped competition acts like a league ladder, similar to the Champions League last season. Hamilton have also been handed home matches against Edinburgh City on August 26, at near-neighbours East Kilbride on September 6, home to St Mirren 'B' on September 23 and have back-top back games at home to Annan Athletic and Rangers 'B' on October 11 and November 11. Hamilton Accies remain in the dark over transfer embargo as SPFL refuse to offer clarity
The SPFL have declined to comment on Hamilton Accies' ongoing transfer embargo, as the club charges towards the start of the new League One campaign. Accies - who were hit with a transfer embargo at the start of last season after late payments were made to players due to what the club called 'a banking error' - were relegated from the Championship last season after a 15-point deduction was imposed by the SPFL in the final few weeks of the campaign. The club was punished for breaching 'multiple' SPFL rules, including a charge relating to "a failure to notify the SPFL of remuneration defaults in respect of six players and a failure to act with the utmost good faith in its representations to the SPFL regarding the lifting of a transfer embargo after previous remuneration and tax defaults." An appeal to the SFA on all charges was kicked out in May. Accies have since moved out of their hometown, leaving New Douglas Park after a fallout with the stadium owners and agreeing a two-year lease at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld to play home matches. But their woes are far from over as the club is still unable to sign players with their League One opener at home to Montrose just over a week away. Under SPFL rules, a transfer embargo is automatically imposed when a club fails to pay its players or taxes on time. Lanarkshire Live Sport contacted the SPFL to determine how long the transfer embargo is in place for, but they declined to comment on Hamilton's situation. Hamilton Accies themselves insist they are in the dark on an exact timeline but Accies boss John Rankin stated last week he hoped the ban would be lifted by this week. Last month, Accies agreed deals in principle to sign defender Ricki Lamie, forward Matty Yates and defender Aaron Comrie but none have come to fruition yet. Lamie featured as a trialist in recent Premier Sports Cup games against Stirling Albion and Hearts, while former Airdrie midfielder Charlie Telfer has also featured as a trialist. On July 16, Rankin said: 'We can't bring any signings in. You've seen trialists in the last two games, we'll see how the situation develops over the next week to 10 days. Hopefully we can get bodies in after that." Accies continue their Premier Sports Cup campaign tonight away to Dunfermline and then host Dumbarton at Broadwood on Saturday.
