'It's a mixtape, like the old days. You go to the streets and sell it,' he said of the set's concept during the late-night conversation. 'At least that was my first approach to mixtapes when I came to the United States. People selling the CDs in the streets, so I started doing the same when I was here hustling to make reggaetón big in the world. It gives me that nostalgia.'
In addition, Balvin was joined by Puerto Rican icon Gilberto Santa Rosa for the TV debut performance of their collaboration, 'Misterio'—a seductive masterpiece that goes from a smooth reaggetón to an exhilarating salsa melody.
'What an honor to be with a legend,' Balvin expressed on Instagram when he announced the TV appearance earlier this week. 'El Caballero de la Salsa bringing generations together for the first time on Fallon Tonight. Colombia and Puerto Rico in the house!'
Santa Rosa responded with: 'The privilege is mine, and I'm truly honored and grateful for your invitation, J Balvin. I wholeheartedly appreciate this opportunity. We'll be there with Mr. Jimmy Fallon, blending urbano and salsa, and bringing that Latin flavor!'
Mixteip, which Balvin told fans on social media are 'songs I had on my iPod and now are going to your playlist,' follows the release of his sixth studio album, Rayo, released last August and which debuted on the Top Latin Albums chart at No. 13.

Netflix's Marriage Story serving as a wolf deterrent is funny, but let's not forget its a great movie too
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. In what is certainly going to be one of the odder stories you hear about today, The Wall Street Journal has reported that the United States Department of Agriculture has recently started using audio from the Netflix original movie Marriage Story (as well as other notable audio clips) to scare off wolves and protect cattle. Specifically, they are using one of the movie's most memorable scenes — an intense argument between a husband and wife in the middle of a divorce played by Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson. The Marriage Story scene sees Driver's Charlie and Johansson's Nicole scream at each other and features lines like 'You'll never be happy!' and 'Every day I wake up and hope you're dead!' The reasoning behind the USDA's choosing this clip, per the WSJ, 'humans are bad' (it appears to be working too). This is undoubtedly a clever and funny solution by those at the USDA, but it does warrant mentioning that this scene, while undoubtedly the most famous from Marriage Story (it had previously been made into plenty of memes shortly after the movie's release), is just one snippet of a pretty great movie, and we shouldn't forget that. Written and directed by Noah Baumbach, Marriage Story was released in 2019 and chronicled the rough divorce proceedings of a theater director and his actress wife. In addition to Driver and Johansson, the movie stars Laura Dern, Ray Liotta, Alan Alda, Julia Hagerty and Azhy Robertson. The movie was nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Driver), Best Actress (Johansson), Best Supporting Actress (Dern), Best Original Screenplay and Best Score, winning for Best Supporting Actress. Critics loved it too, with Marriage Story being 'Certified Fresh' with an impressive 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and a permanent fixture on WTW's list of best Netflix movies. Marriage Story is some of the best work by all involved, as it shows the complex emotions of why a marriage may end and the aftermath as they try to figure out how to navigate their new reality, made all the more difficult with them sharing a kid. Scenes like the fight will put you through the emotional ringer, but there are also moments of sincerity and levity that remind you of the love that was once there and is at times still there. Because Marriage Story has never left Netflix, it can often get buried under the slew of new Netflix original movies and TV shows (recent examples include Happy Gilmore 2, My Oxford Year and, this week, Wednesday season 2). Marriage Story isn't typically popping up in the Top 10 because there hasn't been anything new about it to grab subscribers attention. Maybe this USDA story will change that and give Marriage Story some new life on Netflix. Wolves may not like it, but Marriage Story is a wonderfully performed, powerful human story that deserves to be recalled as the great movie that it is. Meet Cain Culto — the sexy Colombian singer showing plenty of skin online
There's a new hottie taking over the music scene! Cain Culto is the latest viral sensation as his catchy tunes and sexy clips are fully embracing queer culture. Quite literally, the handsome singer is rocking a jockstrap, sniffing poppers, and freely dancing in his vibrant music videos while also tapping into his Colombian roots. The star grew up in both Kentucky and Florida in a very religious household, so music has proven to be the escapism he's needed to love the skin he's in. "For so much of my life, I was ashamed of my femininity, sexuality, and even just my anger. With my music, I'm just not editing myself. We all have our journey of overcoming our show. My healing journey has been wherever things were suppressed, it's about expression. If it makes me feel confident, I'm going to dress that way," Culto tells PRIDE. Culto has recently taken off on TikTok with his raunchy new single "KFC Santería," which serves as an ode to his upbringing while also celebrating everything that makes him unapologetically queer. "We are creating culture! As artists, we get to paint that narrative for ourselves. That's what queerness is about. We create our own language and visuals. That's what motivates me to create." The sky is certainly the limit and Culto is ready to push the gay agenda even further with his debut EP expected to drop later this year. Fans can follow Cain Culto on Instagram here. The USDA Is Using Scarlett Johansson And Adam Driver To Scare Off Wolves
This cow-saving tactic might make you howl with laughter. The United States Department of Agriculture is using audio of actors Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver to scare off wolves, The Wall Street Journal reported last week. In the wildly amusing report, the outlet explained that gray wolves in the American West are wreaking havoc on livestock. 'It's basically like driving through Burger King, easy pickings for them,' Mary Rickert, the owner of Prather Ranch in Northern California, told the Journal. Although Rickert has lost as many as 40 calves to the carnivores, she can't just go John Wick on them. The wolves are endangered — which means it's illegal to harm them. But the USDA has come up with a pretty creative way to keep herds of sheep and cattle from becoming a pack's all-you-can-eat buffet. Essentially, the agency is using drones equipped with spotlights, loudspeakers and 'thermal cameras that can reveal any wolf lurking in the darkness.' When the flying bot spots a wolf near a rancher's animals, it uses the light and the loudspeaker to scare it back into the woods. Some of the recordings played on the drones' loudspeakers make logical sense — like loud fireworks or gunshots. But others are just straight-up silly, and include AC/DC's 'Thunderstuck' and the explosive fight between Johansson's and Driver's characters in Noah Baumbach's 2019 film, 'Marriage Story.' 'I need the wolves to respond and know that, hey, humans are bad,' a USDA district supervisor (who is totally a human and not a canine) named Paul Wolf told the Journal. As goofy as this all sounds, the Journal says the recordings seem to be working. The outlet reports that drones were deployed to an area in Oregon where '11 cows were killed by wolves there in a 20-day period.' After 85 days of the drones' booming recordings — which hopefully included Johansson screeching, 'You gaslighted me; you're a fucking villain!' and Driver yelling, 'I was hot shit and I wanted to fuck everybody, but I didn't!' — only two cows were killed. Although the idea of using a movie scene to scare off wild animals is a bit goofy, the fight scene in 'Marriage Story' displays raw human emotions, and Johansson and Driver did deliver intense performances. 'They've lost their voices; they've lost a sense of who they are,' Baumbach described the scene to Entertainment Weekly in 2019. 'They're trying to figure out what they believe anymore. And that's a dangerous place, I think, for a couple to find themselves.' Related...
