BPD searches for man who allegedly stole rose bushes from police activities center

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole 20 rose bushes from the Police Activities League Center in late May.
The alleged incident was reported on May 25 around 5:16 a.m. when a man stole the rose bushes.
Police describe the man as 30 to 40 years old, bald and last seen wearing khaki shorts with black and white shoes and black and red gloves.
He was last seen pulling a red cart with rose bushes.
The rose bushes were purchased to enhance the environment for the community members who participate at the activities center. The rose rushes were purchased through Community Grant Funds, according to the police department.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact Detective A. Garcia at 661-326-3492.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Bakersfield man was arrested on Tuesday after probation officers allegedly found drugs and cash in his home, according to the Kern County Probation Department. On June 10, officers with the Probation Department conducted a home call in the 2500 block of White Lane, according to officials. During a search of the home, officers allegedly found about 29 grams of suspected cocaine, 378 grams of suspected marijuana and a large amount of United States currency in various denominations. Boron man arrested after traffic stop leads to ghost gun, narcotics Adrian Coronel, 31, who was on active post-release community supervision, was arrested for several charges related to possession of drugs and/or drug sales. Coronel was also arrested on suspicion of possessing other people's identification and violating probation, according to the department.
