Vivo has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V60, in India. It is a successor to the Vivo V50 that arrived earlier this year. The new model brings notable upgrades in processing power, camera, and battery life. It will go on sale from August 19 through Vivo's online store, major e-commerce platforms, and select retail outlets. The dimensions and weight differ slightly depending on the colour. The Mist Grey variant weighs 192g, the Auspicious Gold is 200g, and the Moonlit Blue tips the scale at 201g. Thickness ranges from 7.65mm to 7.75mm.
Powering the Vivo V60 is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm architecture. Buyers get up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and as much as 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, with Vivo committing to four major Android updates and six years of security patches. The phone also incorporates a suite of AI tools, including AI Image Expander, AI Smart Call Assistant, AI Captions, and spam call blocking powered by AI.On the rear, the V60 carries a Zeiss-branded triple camera setup. The primary unit is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, accompanied by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Selfies are handled by a 50-megapixel front camera.
