Ramy Sabry to Participate in 2025 AFCON U-20 Opening Ceremony in Egypt

The 2025 AFCON U-20 is set to kick off tonight in Cairo.
The opening ceremony will feature a stunning performance that proudly showcases Egyptian and African identity through vibrant artistic displays rich in color and music that embody the civilization of the African continent and the renewed spirit of its youth.
Egyptian star Ramy Sabry will participate in the event with a selection of his most popular songs.
Egypt's national team will face South Africa in the opening match of the tournament, scheduled to take place from April 27 to May 18.
Egypt are enlisted in Group A, alongside South Africa, Sierra Leone, Zambia, and Tanzania.

Rami Malek's "Amateur" Sets Digital and Blu-ray Release Dates
Yara Sameh Egyptian-American Rami Malek's 20th Century thriller movie "Amateur," one of the year's best action thrillers, is all set to land on digital release later this month. Based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell, it was adapted by Ken Nolan. British novelist and popular historian James Hawes is directing the movie from a script by Gary Spinelli. Hutch Parker and Dan Wilson are producing, with Malek executive producing. "Amateur" follows a CIA cryptographer who, after his wife is tragically killed in a London terrorist attack, demands his bosses go after them. When it becomes clear they won't act due to conflicting internal priorities, he blackmails the agency into training him and letting him go after them himself. The movie's official synopsis reads: 'Charlie Heller (Rami Malek) is a brilliant, but deeply introverted decoder for the CIA working out of a basement office at headquarters in Langley whose life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack. When his supervisors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands, embarking on a dangerous trek across the globe to track down those responsible, his intelligence serving as the ultimate weapon for eluding his pursuers and achieving his revenge.' The movie has generated plenty of buzz during the fall festival season. Bleecker Street has acquired U.S. rights. "The Amateur" boasts an all-star cast that includes Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Michael Stuhlbarg, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson, Adrian Martinez, Danny Sapani, and Laurence Fishburne. Release back in April, the movie racked up solid numbers at the box office. Particularly in this modern era of franchises and comic book movies. Against a budget of around $60 million, Malek's action outing grossed $95.8 million worldwide, making the movie a financial success. Jorginho Signs with Brazil's Flamengo
Rana Atef On Friday, the Brazilian side Flamengo announced the signing of Italian-Brazilian midfielder Jorginho from English Premier League side Arsenal, ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. Jorginho signed a contract that runs until July 2028, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career that started in Brazil before making a name for himself in European football. He is set to wear the number 21 jersey with the team and will be ready to participate in the global tournament next summer. Jorginho was born in Brazil but moved to Italy in 2008 while still a youth player. There, he gained Italian citizenship, later rising to prominence with Napoli, where he spent four successful seasons, winning the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup. In 2018, he took a major step in his career by moving to the English Premier League, signing with Chelsea. At Chelsea, he enjoyed his best years, winning the 2019 UEFA Europa League against Arsenal, the 2021 UEFA Super Cup (where he was named Man of the Match in the final), and the FIFA Club World Cup in the same season.
