Lil Wayne is having another big week on the charts in the United States. His new album Tha Carter VI, debuts at No. 1 on a number of Billboard rankings, and he invades several of the hip-hop and rap-focused tallies with multiple tracks from the full-length.
This is not an unusual performance for one of the biggest stars to ever rap, but this latest slew of smashers may be special to the Grammy winner, as he's made his newest effort a family affair.
Kameron Carter Scores His First Billboard Hit
Kameron Carter, Wayne's son, earns what appears to be his first Billboard hit this week. The 15-year-old, whose mother is actress Lauren London, collaborates with his father on the track 'Rari.'
The Tha Carter VI album cut opens at No. 47 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which ranks the most consumed tunes in those styles across the U.S., blending sales and streaming data as well as radio airplay.

Carter may only be credited on one track, but Wayne lands 17 new hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week, all taken from Tha Carter VI. The rapper didn't push any singles from the full-length before dropping the project in full, so excitement around these tunes is especially high at the moment.
Lil Wayne Extends His Impressive Chart History
Throughout his career, Wayne has collected an incredible 234 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Included in that massive number are 53 top 10s — a figure he adds to with just one track this frame, as the aptly titled 'Hip-Hop,' a collaboration with BigXthaPlug and Jay Jones, opens at No. 8. He's also landed an even dozen champions thus far.

The world record for longest temporary mini golf hole was set in downtown Des Moines
UScellular officially holds the Guinness World Record for the longest temporary mini golf course — and the title was made right here in Des Moines. Guinness World Records adjudicators were at Cowles Commons in downtown Des Moines on Saturday, June 21 to confirm that the tech company's 507-foot hole broke the previous record of 492 feet. 'Congratulations to UScellular on its GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title,' Michael Empric, an adjudicator for Guinness World Records who was there in-person for the event, said in a news release. 'It was an honor to be a part of something that was created for the community to experience, and it was exciting to see so many people come out to enjoy the day.' The hole was the main attraction to the Unplug and Play Day event — an extension of UScellular's Built for US campaign that provides tips, resources, and experiences to its consumers aiming to help build connections and better their relationship with technology. Residents also participated in other event activities such as solving a giant yard puzzle and mural and face painting. The idea came from UScellular's Board of Connectors, a group comprised of youth from Boys and Girls Clubs and children of UScellular associates, to push families towards developing better digital habits. UScellular will take the record-breaking hole on the road starting with Cedar Rapids on June 28 followed by Green Bay, Wisconsin, on July 12 and Bangor, Maine, on July 26. Olivia Dunne makes eye-popping comment after fan's Madelyn Cline post
Former LSU Tigers gymnast Olivia Dunne made an eyebrow-raising comment on social media after one fan made an eye-popping description of the Men's College World Series. The Tigers were taking on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers for the national championship. The Barstool Sports Coastal Carolina affiliate wrote on X, "this college world series is literally the Madelyn Cline vs Livvy Dunne bowl." "Gooner World Series," Dunne wrote in response. The term "gooner" refers to a person who makes pornography a top priority in their life and could also refer to a fan of the English Premier League club Arsenal, according to Urban Dictionary. Cline, an actress who has appeared in "Glass Onion" and "Outer Banks," attended Coastal Carolina University briefly. It's unclear whether she will show up to Omaha, Nebraska, to cheer on the Chanticleers. Dunne has already been spotted at the College World Series. She was seen wearing a Paul Skenes jersey that had the Tigers' logo on the front and Pittsburgh Pirates colors on the back. The Pirates selected Skenes with the No. 1 overall pick out of LSU in the 2023 draft. Skenes helped the Tigers to a College World Series title. He made his major league debut last year and was named the National League Rookie of the Year. He and Dunne are dating. Dunne also ended her collegiate career with a national championship on her resume. She has since been seen walking the runway for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. But instead of trying to prove them wrong, the singer decided to lean in with his latest music video. On Friday (June 20), Boone dropped the tongue-in-cheek music video for his new song 'Mr. Electric Blue,' off his just-released LP American Heart. From the start of the clip, Boone goes out of his way to play with all the worst things the internet has to say about him when he walks into 'Industry Plant Records' wearing a t-shirt that simply says 'one hit wonder' for a frank conversation with his sleazy agent (played by his frequent songwriting collaborator Jack LaFrantz). For his hustling and hard work, Boone makes a grand total of $168, but begs LaFrantz's agent to give him another chance. But his agent assures him that he found a better solution, saying he 'sold your entire catalog to retail chains, fast food chains and movie theaters,' promising that 'you'll be the most overplayed artist in the world, and I'll be rich.' A dejected Boone sighs and smiles, saying 'that's all I've ever wanted,' before celebrating his ubiquity. It's far from the first time Boone has commented on the way people perceive him. The singer posted a TikTok back in April, explaining that he could understand people not liking him or his music if there were more people offering concrete reasons for their distaste. 'I just read a comment that said 'idek why I hate Benson Boone but it feels right,'' he wrote on the video. 'Like WHAT!!? how am I supposed to improve after reading that?
