TL;DR: Get a MacBook Air while they're on sale for $199.97 (reg. $999).
What computer do you think stores want you to buy? Is it the affordable machine that can get the job done, or is it the big expensive thing you don't actually need? If you just need a laptop for light productivity, don't let the big box stores convince you it has to be expensive. Instead, try a deal like this one: you can get a MacBook Air for only $199.97 (reg. $999), but we don't have many left.
Think about it for a second. Why pay close to a thousand dollars when this MacBook Air delivers the essentials and more? Under the hood you get a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5 processor paired with Intel HD Graphics 6000 and 8 GB of RAM. That means you can juggle web browsing, video calls, document editing and streaming without missing a beat.

The 13.3-inch widescreen display has a native resolution of 1440 by 900. It is sharp and bright enough for spreadsheets and slide decks yet still perfect for binge-watching your favorite shows. At just under 3 pounds you can slip it into a backpack and forget it is even there until you need it.
Storage and connectivity are equally solid. The 128 GB solid-state drive gives you fast start up times and quick access to files. Built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mean you can get online and transfer photos or music without searching for dongles. A MagSafe wall charger restores battery power quickly and the 12-hour battery life keeps you productive or entertained all day.
This computer has a Grade A/B refurbished rating so you might spot light scuffing or minor scratches but nothing that affects performance. A 90-day parts and labor warranty provides extra peace of mind. Compatibility with macOS Monterey means you can install modern apps and receive the latest security updates.
You have until June 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT to get a MacBook Air on sale for $199.97.

Apple's Quiet MacBook Air Discounts
Brand new redesigned MacBook Air laptops are displayed during WWDC (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty ... More Images) Apple may have launched macOS 26 Tahoe during last week's Worldwide Developer Conference, but it is a relatively quiet time for the MacBook Air laptops. While the new M5 chipset is expected to debut in an iPad Pro over the next few weeks, the first MacBook Pro upgrades will have to wait until the fourth quarter of 2025, with M5 Airs perhaps in early 2026. Yet there is one MacBook Air change this week that many will welcome. The latest consumer-focused macOS laptops have picked up a significant discount as the first M4 MacBook Air laptops arrive in the US Apple Store. In general, Apple's refurbished devices come with a fifteen percent discount. That will take the entry-level M4 MacBook Air to $849, $150 off the sticker price. It's not a slam dunk to get the model you want. There are more than thirty configurations of the current MacBook Air models, and Apple can only stock the configurations that have been refurbished. If you want something specific, you'll need to keep checking back over the next days and weeks to watch for your favorite. The price cuts come due to their appearance in the refurbished section of the Store. This is where Apple offers hardware that has been returned, refurbished and fully tested before going back on sale. Importantly, these refurbished units come with a one-year limited warranty and are eligible to receive the AppleCare extended warranty. There's also no artificial limitation on the software support window. A refurbished MacBook Air will have the same operating system updates and security patches as one purchased new. With the latest version of macOS announced at June's Worldwide Developer Conference still supporting 2020's M1-powered MacBook Air, you can expect at least five years of ongoing support from Apple, and the expectation is that the seven years offered to the last Intel-powered MacBooks will be the minimum offered the Apple Silicon MacBook Air laptops. You can find Apple's refurbished MacBook Air models and more here… Now read more about the updates to the MacBook Air and macOS 26 in Forbes' weekly Apple news digest…

TL;DR: Switch to the NanoPhone, a mini smartphone that will slice your screen time this summer, for only $109.99 (reg. $199.99). Everyone's always talking about reducing their screen time. For most of us, picking up our phones is a bad habit. One that can feel harder to quit than cigarettes. Before you know it, you've wasted hours scrolling and shot your attention span to hell. Sound familiar? If your thoughts are scattered, focusing feels impossible, and you just can't seem to lock in, it might just be that big distracting phone of yours. Life is hard enough. It's even harder to get everything done when we're glued to our phones. If you want to cut back without cutting yourself off, check out the NanoPhone. It's a tiny smartphone that's a lot harder to get glued to, and it's on sale for $109.99 (reg. $199.99). And shipping is free. Hear us out: The easiest way to cut back on your screen time is to cut the size of your phone in half. This credit-card-sized phone is a game changer. Sleeker than a smartwatch and smaller than a smartphone, the NanoPhone looks like a mini iPhone but works like an Android. The result? A streamlined device that gives you everything you need without the distractions. Yes, you can still get apps like Instagram and YouTube on the NanoPhone. But the smaller screen and stealthy size keep you from reaching for that familiar weight in your pocket. Basically, it's a nicotine patch for your phone addiction. It does all the things you actually need a phone for, but helps you break your smartphone dependency. The NanoPhone is more efficient than many smartphones. It supports not just one, but two SIMs, while boasting a 2000mAh battery that actually lasts — that's what happens when you don't have a thousand battery-draining apps or those tricky iPhone batteries. Of course, the NanoPhone has all the necessary phone capabilities, too. It comes with 4G and Wi-Fi, plus cameras for video calls. The only thing it doesn't have is all the extra distractions that keep you tethered to your phone and away from real life. Break up with your big smartphone and ditch your screen dependency. Get the NanoPhone for $109.99 (reg. $199.99). StackSocial prices subject to change.

Who needs another monthly payment? Get Microsoft Office for life for under $30
Discover startups, services, products and more from our partner StackCommerce. New York Post edits this content, and may be compensated and/or receive an affiliate commission if you buy through our links. TL;DR: Get lifetime access to Microsoft Office 2019 for just $29.97 (reg. $229). Seems like everything requires a monthly subscription today: music streaming, television access, the gym, your subway pass, even basics like the software you use every day. But it doesn't have to. Right now, you can get a lifetime license for Microsoft Office 2019, including all the programs you use daily like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for just $29.97. That's 89% off the regular $229 price — no monthly payments required. Ever. Advertisement Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 is not the most recent version of Microsoft Office (that would be Microsoft Office 2024), but you're still getting Office's core features in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access. The biggest changes between Office 2019 and Office 2024 are fewer AI-powered functionalities, as well as some of the most recent Excel capabilities. This offer does not include Microsoft Teams. That means you're getting access to smooth word processing, advanced data management, and engaging, clear presentations with easy compatibility between all your go-to apps. Microsoft Office is the most popular business software suite in the world for a reason, and it's easy to see why. It's a comprehensive package of all the tools you need to meet your business (and personal!) needs. Your purchase gets you instant email delivery and a one-time download — no waiting. It's good for one license for a Windows PC, and you'll get customer service access, too. This license isn't connected with a Microsoft Account, but will be connected to the device you install it on. You'll need Windows 10 or later to run Microsoft Office 2019. If you're ready to unlock your professional potential and even more ready to be done with subscription plans, this is the deal for you. Subscriptions might be here to stay, but this one-time-purchase offer is one that won't last. Get lifetime access to Microsoft Office 2019 for $29.97. StackSocial prices subject to change.
