Hamas: So-Called Aid Distribution Points are nothing but "Premeditated Death Traps"
Doha – Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated that "the rise in the number of martyrs killed by the so-called Zionist-American 'aid distribution mechanism' to 454, along with 3,466 injured, since its implementation less than a month ago, exposes the criminal nature of this mechanism."
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas said this "confirms that the so-called aid distribution points are nothing but premeditated 'death traps,' used to manage starvation and humiliation as part of a systematic policy of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip."
The movement added, "This ongoing crime, carried out with international cover and shameful silence, constitutes a blatant violation of all humanitarian laws and norms. It obligates the international community and the United Nations to uphold their moral and legal responsibilities by immediately intervening to halt these massacres and establishing a safe, UN-supervised humanitarian mechanism for delivering aid, free from the occupation's control and manipulation."
Hamas emphasized "the necessity of activating international accountability and prosecuting Zionist occupation leaders for their war crimes against defenseless civilians."
It also called for "urgent and effective action to impose an immediate and comprehensive cessation of the genocidal war targeting over two million besieged people in the Gaza Strip."
