Banan unit in deal to develop Riyadh fitness clubs
Located on Al Takhassusi Road, these two clubs will be dedicated to men and women under the "Optimo" brand, owned by Armah Sports Company, said Banan Real Estate Company in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.
Armah Sports Company offers clubs designed for individuals seeking luxury, privacy, and high-level services.
This project is one of several to be implemented between Armah Sports Company and Banan Real Estate Company, aiming to develop integrated sports clubs.
The scope of work includes development of two fully equipped and operational fitness clubs, one for men and one for women (excluding mobile furniture and sports equipment) with a long-term contract starting upon their full delivery for a period of 20 years.
On the financial impact, Banan said it will generate direct revenues from the development work, in addition to strengthening its investments and increasing its returns through its subsidiary, Qimam Noshoz Real Estate Development Company, upon the project's completion.- TradeArabia News Service

Dubai construction inspections surge 36% in 2025 as sustainability efforts hit new milestone
Dubai Municipality has ramped up its oversight of the emirate's building sector, completing more than 25,000 field inspections in the first half of 2025 — a 36 per cent jump compared to the same period last year. The inspections covered more than 18,800 active construction sites with a combined built-up area of more than 36 million square metres, up 11 per cent year-on-year, reflecting Dubai's continued expansion in real estate and infrastructure. RAK Properties H1 net profit jumps 80% on higher sales, Mina project growth

The UAE-based developer posted net profit of Dhs160.6m ($43.7m) for the six months to June 30, up from Dhs89.06m a year earlier. Revenue for the period was Dhs774.79m. RAK Properties H1: Key highlights Sales value more than doubled to Dhs1.41bn from Dhs703m last year, supported by a 59 per cent increase in the number of units sold to 788. The company's development backlog rose 42 per cent to Dhs2.62bn. Operating profit increased 47 per cent to Dhs204.15m, while EBITDA grew 42 per cent to Dhs239.25m. Total assets rose 3.5 per cent to Dhs8.29bn, and capital and reserves increased 3 per cent to Dhs5.70bn. Chairman Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Zaabi said the results reflected the company's growth and the appeal of Ras Al Khaimah as a property investment destination. 'The emirate's diversified economy, investor-friendly regulations, and growing population reflect an increasing demand for a new kind of modern, urban-beachfront community with Mina as its vibrant heart,' Al Zaabi said in a statement.
