HEUNG-MIN SON is being lined up for a blockbuster move by Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
After a mostly dismal campaign, the Tottenham captain, 32, could bid farewell to the club after 10 years, with only one year left on his contract, though Spurs will not be letting him go cheaply.

According to Turkish reporter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, he could be set to reunite with former boss Jose Mourinho.
A face-to-face meeting between player and manager to discuss a potential move is said to have taken place, with the pair believed to have maintained a strong relationship, though the Istanbul club may need to part with at least £25million to get their man.
SunSport understands that the player is open to a move, with the historic Europa League triumph viewed as a perfect way to depart on a positive note.
The duo linked up for eighteen months at Spurs, where Son enjoyed great success, bagging 22 league goals in 51 appearances under Mourinho, even scooping the Puskas Award during his tenure.

The Portuguese manager would be yearning for this form to return if a move is completed, after watching Fenerbahce's fierce city rivals Galatasaray clinch a third straight Super Lig title.
Mourinho's club are keen to make a splash in the market, and were recently been linked to Man City outcast Kyle Walker.
But as exclusively reported by SunSport, it appears the England right-back is instead heading to Merseyside to work under David Moyes at Everton.
Fenerbahce have though already agreed the £10m permanent transfer of former Manchester United flop Sofyan Amrabat for the start of the window.

Whilst rumours are also circling that Santos megastar Neymar could join, according to French outlet L'Equipe, in what would be a head-turning deal.
However, any move for Heung-Min Son may have to wait.
Daniel Levy reveals he wants Tottenham to win Champions League AND Premier League under 'super' Thomas Frank
Spurs are desperate to hang on to Son for their lucrative pre-season trip to Asia to honour agreements with tour organisers, due to the star's huge continental presence and significant commercial value he brings to the club.

If Son were to depart prior to this, a breach of contract with organisers could leave the possibility of a sizeable financial penalty being slapped upon the North London outfit, meaning a swift resolution over the player's future is improbable.
It is also understood that the player is the subject of interest from three Saudi Pro League clubs.
Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah are all looking to swoop for the South Korean star, with a potential transfer saga now firmly on the cards.
This could hurt Fenerbahce 's hopes of getting a deal over the line.

Hibs Europa League fate predicted as dismissive Midtjylland boss makes bold assessment

The Danish boss is fully expecting his team to get the job done against the capital club next month Bold Midtjylland boss Thomas Thomasberg is supremely confident that his side will end Hibs ' hopes of qualifying for the group phase of the Europa League by dumping them out at the first time of asking. David Gray 's men were dealt a tough hand in Wednesday's second qualifying round draw when they were paired against a side that reached the knockout stage of the competition last season. ‌ Midtjylland boast a host of international players among their ranks including Poland forward Adam Buksa and Switzerland's one-time Rangers ' loanee Kevin Mbabu. ‌ Thomasberg led Midtjylland to the Superliga title in 2024 and only missed out on retaining their championship last season to rivals Copenhagen by a single point. The Jutland club will host the Hibees on July 24 at the MCH Arena before making the trip to Leith seven days later. The winner of the tie will progress to the third qualifying round while the loser will drop into the Conference League qualifying section at the same stage. But ex Randers manager Thomasberg is in no doubt that his team will be the ones celebrating over the two legs. He told TV2 Sport: "Yes, of course we will. ‌ "This is the first step towards that, so we have to make a really good attempt at that. We will also advance to the next round in the Europa League. Despite his confident prediction, the 50-year-old insists they will do their homework on Hibs. "Well, of course I know what Scottish football stands for," he added. ‌ "There is some speed, some physicality in the game, but we need to take a closer look at the team itself and how they do it now, and we have plenty of time for that." ‘We need to take risks': Thomas Frank promises to attack in bid to make Spurs ‘serial winners'

Thomas Frank intends to build on Ange Postecoglou's Europa League triumph and turn Tottenham into 'serial winners'. The new manager described Postecoglou as a 'legend' as he considered how the Australian had ended the club's 17-year trophy drought with victory against Manchester United in Bilbao on 21 May. It was not enough to save him from the sack after a dismal Premier League season. Frank, who has joined from Brentford on a three-year contract, acknowledged the barriers that his predecessor had broken down. But as he promised in his first interview at Spurs to take risks and play on the front foot, he made it clear that the goal was to create more memories by winning silverware. Frank's comments, given to the club's website, came after the chair, Daniel Levy, said on Tuesday that he wanted to win the league and Champions League. Spurs' Europa League success has got them back into the Champions League. 'Huge congratulations to the club, to the team … huge congratulations to Ange,' Frank said. 'He will for ever be a legend at Tottenham. It's very important to understand that we all stand on the shoulders of others so I am going in on the foundations that Ange has built. I'm very humble about that and I'll do my very best to continue the great work he put in. 'But the feeling and excitement, the joy and happiness you could see in the fans' faces [after the Europa League win], the pictures you saw were … wow! Hopefully we can create more of those moments. That would be the ultimate dream to do that and build on that. Hey, no one can say they are not winners; the team and the players are winners. Now we need to do [our] best … to see whether we can be serial winners in the future.' Frank talked about wanting to create 'magic' for the fans, undertaking a journey with them, making the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a fortress. He also hit the right notes when he discussed how his team would play. 'The intention is to play aggressive, front-footed football,' he said. 'I know the ethos and the history of the club is massive on attacking football and there is so much attacking talent in the squad. I'm very, very big on principles … what we do in the final third in terms of creating chances, crosses, bring balls in the box, play [in] behind. 'I always say this one-liner: if you don't take risks, you also take risks. So it's important we take risks. Risk is you need to play forward. If you don't risk the ball, you can't create things. We need to be brave. But if they don't work hard? I struggle more with that. That's my non-negotiable. We need to take risks. If we don't take risks, it's impossible to achieve something big.'

Thomas Frank makes Spurs style promise amid message to Daniel Levy

Tottenham Hotspur's new head coach Thomas Frank is promising a team that will take risks in words that echo the sentiments shared by his predecessor Ange Postecoglou Thomas Frank will urge Tottenham to gamble in attack because that is what the club demands. New boss Frank last week replaced gung-ho Ange Postecoglou after he paid the price for a 17th-place league finish. But Postecoglou also won the club's first piece of silverware for 17 years by winning the Europa League – meaning Frank will not just inherit a squad full of players that excite him but have an immediate chance to impress in the Champions League. ‌ And in his first interview since leaving Brentford, who received £10m in compensation, Frank made similar noises to his predecessor when it comes to describing his desired style. ‌ 'The intention is to play aggressive, front-footed football. I know the ethos and the history of the club is it's massive on attacking football,' he said. 'There's so much attacking talent in the squad. I'm very excited by that. They've clearly shown over the last two seasons that the ability to score goals is fantastic. 'I'm very, very in on that. I love a team that scores goals. We just want to build on that attacking football we already have. 'I'm a big believer in if you don't take risks, you also take a risk. It's important we take risks. If we play man-to-man in some situations, the risk is you need to play forward. If you don't risk, you can't create anything. 'The players need to be brave and trust themselves. I'll do my best to instil that trust. If they lose the ball by trying, that's never a problem. Of course I can react, that's natural, but they need to do that. ‌ 'If they don't work hard, I struggle more with that. That's my non-negotiable. If you don't take risks, it's impossible to achieve something big.' Frank added that if the club is to realise his vision there needs to be joined-up thinking with the hierarchy - beginning with chairman Daniel Levy. The Dane is Levy's 13th permanent managerial hire in 24 years as chairman and he added: 'I think alignment is key from top to bottom. It starts from Daniel, Vinai (Venkatesham, chief executive) and Johan (Lange, technical director). 'The more the four of us can be aligned, like an unbreakable unit, the stronger we'll be. There will be ups and downs but right now it's a fairytale. It's fantastic.'
