Le Sserafim adds dates to world tour
Le Sserafim decided to add two shows to its ongoing international tour, agency Source Music announced Thursday.
Additional dates have been added to both the Taipei and Hong Kong shows in July, expanding the Asian leg of the tour to a total of 19 shows.
The group kicked off its 'Easy Crazy Hot' tour last month with a two-day show in Incheon. Next month, it heads to its third Japan stop, Fukuoka, where the group will drop its fourth single, 'Different,' on June 24. Heo Yunjin was absent from the two previous concerts in Nagoya and Osaka, due to a back injury.
The tour will continue through mid-August, taking the group to Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok and Singapore. Le Sserafim is also slated to tour North America in September, though details are yet to be announced.

Babymonster, also on an Asia tour, wrapped up its 'Hello Monsters' concerts in Singapore and Hong Kong in May and is preparing for its final Southeast Asian stop in Bangkok from June 7-8. YG Entertainment confirmed it has no plans to postpone or cancel the shows. 'We're monitoring the situation closely, but the outbreak is limited to certain regions. Everything is proceeding as planned,' a YG official told The Korea Herald on Wednesday. Le Sserafim is scheduled to perform in Taiwan and Hong Kong in July, followed by concerts in the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore in August as part of its 'Easy Crazy Hot' world tour. Source Music's parent company, Hybe, also confirmed that all shows will proceed as scheduled. JYP Entertainment's acts — Niziu, Nmixx and Xdinary Heroes — are also expected to hold small-scale performances in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, respectively, in the second half of the year, with no changes announced. An industry official noted that unless governments issue specific warnings or event restrictions, K-pop agencies are unlikely to take unilateral action regarding concert postponements. 'There aren't any government guidelines like we saw during the height of the pandemic, so it's hard for companies to take preemptive action on their own,' one agency source said. Another industry official echoed the sentiment: 'Without national-level advisories, it's difficult for agencies to make those decisions independently.'

Le Sserafim surpasses 200m views with ‘Fearless' music video
The music video for Le Sserafim's debut song garnered 200 million views on YouTube as of Tuesday, agency Source Music said Wednesday. It is the group's second music video to hit the mark after 'Antifragile,' the title track from the group's second EP. The group's debut single "Fearless' is an alternative pop tune that made both the Billboard Global 200 and Global 200 excl. US. The single amassed 300 million streams on Spotify as of April 2024. The mini album of the same title sold more than 300,000 copies in its first week, a first-ever for a K-pop girl group, and went on to notch the No. 1 spot on Oricon's Daily Album Ranking. BIFF opens volunteer applications for 30th edition
Festival seeks support team for landmark competitive debut The Busan International Film Festival began recruiting volunteers Thursday for its milestone 30th edition. Applications are open through June 29 for positions ranging from guest services and event coordination to technical support across seven operational categories.
