This Woman's Mexico Facelift Has Results So Shocking, It Has Left Over 125 Million People Completely Flabbergasted
You can read the specifics about each procedure Michelle had done below:
📍Facelift
📍Forehead Lift (also called a brow lift)
📍Upper Blepharoplasty
📍Lower Blepharoplasty
📍Lip Lift
📍Mini Chin Implant
Michelle goes on to talk about how her surgeon is Dr. Maribel Belmontes Castillo. "The people of Guadalajara are so friendly. And I hope to bring you along with my journey and let you see the good, the bad, the ugly. I chose this surgeon based on reviews. She's very, very conservative in her approach. I did not want to look 20. I just want to look like I slept for 30 years. So I've lost 130 pounds twice in my life, and I think it's just done a number on my skin, particularly my neck. I'm a single mom to two kids that are 17 and a half, and I am choosing to do this for me, and everybody is fully supportive," she concludes, and shows some photos of the hospital.

She shared this photo of herself a day after her procedures:
Right away, people said they could see immediate results:

And on day three she admited that she felt like a Bratz Doll, although she did say she "turned a corner" and was feeling better.
Again, people were quick to express just how much younger they thought Michelle looked:
Here is Michelle on day five. "I think the hardest part that no one tells you about is that it is hard to just sit still and do nothing. Like, it really is. I think as adults we are on the go so much in our lives, but to just sit still and not move for 10 days is tough — really tough," she expressed.
At this point people were claiming it was the best facial work they'd ever seen done:
Here are some closeups of the incisions that were made:

And these are Michelle's results 10 days post op:
Clearly, everyone was thinking the same thing at this point:
On day 15, Michelle was still in Guadalajara and still a bit swollen and tired, but overall, she said she was doing very well.
Related:
After a few weeks, Michelle returned to the US and, as the days went on, each video she posted continued to rack up hundreds of thousands of views with people genuinely in awe of the results.
Most of the swelling was down by day 24, when Michelle broke down the cost. It converts to about $14,000 for all six procedures and an additional $1,000 for the recovery home that included food, transportation to and from appointments, and 24/7 nursing care. Michelle didn't specify how long she was in the recovery home, but judging from the dates on her videos, she appeared to be there for two to three weeks.
To compare these prices to those in the US, Michelle saved TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. Here is an example of a pricing structure breakdown in America:
The following price estimates are JUST the surgeon's fees without necessary add-ons (like anesthesia and facility fees) you would also have to pay:
📍The price range for a full facelift obviously varies by region, but it is typically priced between $7,000–$20,000, with Beverly Hills or "celebrity‑level" cases reaching a whopping $500K+!!!
📍The national average for a forehead lift is around $3,900–$7,600, and can be up to $9,000+ in Los Angeles.
📍The national average for upper bleph eyelid surgery is about $4,950, with upper lid procedures typically ranging between $3,500–$4,500. In LA, people report the cost being $12,000 with local and general anesthesia!
📍Lower bleph is generally around $4,000.
📍Lip lift can vary significantly, from $1,500 up to over $8,000.
📍A mini chin implant can range from $2,200 to 17,000.
Michelle also shared that she felt comfortable getting the surgeries done out of the country because she had a good experience getting skin removal surgery in Mexico before. She also said she found Dr. Maribel Belmontes Castillo through her own research, and vetting reviews from others.
Michelle is currently a couple of months post op, so here are some before and after photos to give you an idea of what she is looking like now:

Why ‘41' Is Trending in Teen Slang — & Why It's the New ‘6-7'
Tired of hearing '6-7' all the time from your teens? You're in luck … kind of. A new phrase has popped up that experts say is going to replace the nonsensical slang term: '41.' But it's poised to be just as annoying as the first one. What Is 6-7? As a quick refresher, 6-7 is a slang term that doesn't really mean anything — it's just something teens (and tweens!) like to say as often as they can. More from SheKnows Does More Freedom Equal Less Screen Time? Experts Think So In a previous interview with our SheKnows Teen Council, 16-year-old Gary explained it like this: 'Okay, so six-seven, to be kind of broad, it's just two numbers that you say to be funny. It's like in any situation, you'd be like, 'well, how many times you do this?' You could say 'six, seven,'' he said. It started from a song by a rapper named Skrilla, who said '6-7' in the lyrics and a clip from the moment went viral on TikTok. So, What Is 41? Now, middle school teacher and keeper of Gen Z slang Mr. Lindsay alerted followers to the new trending number '41.' 'Bad news if you didn't like 6-7, you're not gonna like this one either,' he said in a video on Instagram. Although kids aren't quite saying it yet, they are 'starting to pick up on' 41. 'It starts from a song by a rapper named Blizzy Boi, and he says that he is 41, and he has 41 of everything,' Mr. Lindsay says. According to Know Your Meme, the song originally debuted in Aug. 2021, but it went viral recently once a clip was posted to TikTok. 'If you're kids aren't saying #41 yet, they will be soon! Is it the new #67 ?' Mr. Lindsay captioned the video. Considering how teens today are constantly trying to move on to the next viral moment, it wouldn't surprise us at all if '41' eclipsed '6-7' just because it's new and different. The '41' trend might be kinda silly, but at least it's not dirty or referencing anything explicit, right? We're finally getting a break from everything being '69'! Owner Who 'Needed a Break' Tries To Hide From Dog—Does Not Go To Plan
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A woman has shown the reality of life with a fetch-obsessed dog, where not even hiding behind the sofa can give you a break. Christa, who posts to TikTok under the username @christaniner, is the owner of mix-breed Basil, who is part Labrador retriever, Australian shepherd, and poodle. Australian shepherds are known to be a smart, active and work-oriented breed, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC), bred to excel as a herding dog, and with a strong work drive that can make them a handful as a family pet. In Basil's case, her herding and work drive shows up in her obsession with the ball—fetching and returning it to her owner. And she's not ready to take a break, even if her owner is tired. In a viral video posted on August 6, which has already racked up more than 600,000 views, owner Christa hides behind the sofa, her phone pointed upwards to show her hiding spot between the sofa and the curtains to the window. She wrote: "Hiding behind my couch because I needed a break from throwing her ball." But all of a sudden, Basil comes bounding up on the sofa, sticking her head over it with her ball in her mouth, as Christa lets out a cry of shock. Basil clearly thinks this is part of the game, as she begins pawing at and patting her owner, as though nudging her to get back and throw the ball again—which she stilll has in her mouth, and begins chewing excitedly. Christa can be heard laughing breathlessly at her dog's reaction, writing in the caption: "She found me so fast." Basil finds her owner and immediately starts patting her to throw the ball again. Basil finds her owner and immediately starts patting her to throw the ball again. TikTok @christaniner And TikTok users loved it, one commenter joking: "TAG YOU'RE IT," with Christa responding agreeing Basil has "tag skills." Another joked that Basil was saying: "We playing fetch not fetch and hide and seek!" "She said glad I won hide and seek so we can go back to playing ball," another laughed, as one put it: "She's like you're still on the clock get back to your work." Christa herself wrote multiple comments, describing her dog as running "a tight ship," adding: "I can't get anything past her," and "I need a better hiding spot next time." She also revealed that, after this video, she "had to give her an extra 100 throws to make up for hiding!" Newsweek has contacted @christaniner via TikTok for comment on this story.
