2026 Lexus RZ Updates Revealed, Everything You Need to Know

The RZ gets a welcome upgrade Three years after introducing its first electric vehicle, Lexus has upgraded the RZ for the 2026 model year, making this sleek SUV a more worthy competitor. It will now come as the 221-horsepower RZ 350e with front-wheel drive, the 308-horsepower RZ 450e with all-wheel drive, and the new, range-topping 402-horsepower RZ 550e F Sport also with all-wheel drive. The three models reportedly have 0-60 mph times of 7.2 seconds, 4.9 seconds, and 4.2 seconds, respectively. 2026 Lexus RZ 350e — Source: Lexus Range has also increased, with Lexus quoting 300 miles for the RZ 350e FWD, 260 miles for the RZ 450e AWD with 18-inch tires, and 225 miles on the new RZ 550e F SPORT AWD with 20-inch tires. The RZ now sports a North American Charging System charging port on the passenger side for charging at Tesla Superchargers. Filling the battery pack from 10% to 80% requires about 30 minutes using a DC fast charger. More performance on tap 2026 Lexus RZ 550e — Source: Lexus If more power is at the top of your checklist, the RZ 550e F Sport is for you, albeit at the expense of range. Interestingly, Lexus has fitted its trim-topping model with M Mode, a virtual gearbox that simulates manual gear shifting via paddle shifters. If this sounds familiar, that's because Ferrari and Hyundai already have it. The RZ 550e F Sport also wears the appropriate go-fast attire, with a black emblem, rear spoiler, front and rear bumper moldings, front grille, and 20-inch wheels. Its cabin proves equally sweet, lined in black Ultrasuede with blue stitching and with a panoramic glass roof, aluminum pedals and footrests, and an F Sport steering wheel. Final thoughts While the new Lexus RZ's upgrades help keep it competitive, the automaker's plan to build it in Japan means that it won't be eligible for a federal tax credit, should that survive the onslaught by Congress. Then again, Lexus hasn't released pricing yet, promising to do so closer to the 2026 Lexus RZ's on-sale date. Currently, the 2025 RZ starts at $43,795 and tops out at $58,605 with lower range figures, but given the specter of tariffs, those prices will likely increase. So far, at least, it seems like the 2026 Lexus RZ's longer range and higher performance should be well worth the wait, along with what is likely to be a higher price. Arrgh you joking? Tesco pensioner stuns shoppers by bringing his pet PARROT with him to buy groceries

On a balance of probabilities, parrots are more likely to be spotted walking the plank than walking down the ready meals aisle of a major supermarket. But that was exactly the scene that greeted one customer, who was left stunned after spotting a pensioner with a colourful parrot perched upon his shoulder in his local Tesco. Named Bella, the 12-year-old exotic bird prompted the stunned man to capture his unusual encounter on video. Posting the footage to X, the astonished man can't help but exclaim, 'That is something unbelievable. Oh my God,' as he spots the red-and-green macaw. 'See the parrot, man, in Tesco,' he continues. After approaching the otherwise unperturbed owner, the man says: 'How are we uncle, you OK? Lovely parrot, man. How old is it?' After being told the bird is aged 12, the curious bystander asks whether the bird speaks. 'She does when she wants,' replies her owner. 'That is good man, you've trained her well,' the surprised customer told the bird owner, before bidding him farewell. Green-winged macaws are the second largest parrots next to the hyacinth macaw and can reach flight speeds of up to 35mph. They have a very powerful beak which can generate a pressure of 2000 psi (pounds per square inch) and have the ability to crack open incredibly hard-shelled nuts, such as Brazil nuts with ease. Parrots mainly eat seeds, fruits, blossoms, buds, leaves, berries, nuts and sometimes bark - and do indeed enjoy the occasional cracker as well.

Rita Ora commands attention in leopard print bra and micro shorts as she performs at World Pride Music Festival in Washington DC

Rita Ora stripped down to a matching leopard print lingerie set and micro shorts during a performance at World Pride Music Festival in Washington DC on Friday. The songstress, 34, looked unbelievable in the skimpy outfit as she took to the stage for the two-day event. She pulled out all the stops for the big performance, turning heads in her figure-hugging ensemble. Rita paired her eccentric outfit with glittery eyeshadow and sunglasses to complete the look. She sang and danced to the crowd, who were also there to see Jennifer Lopez and Troye Sivan, to name a few. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The pride festival is held at Festival Grounds At RFK Campus in Washington D.C. Rita recently boasted about her latest song Heat, which was released on Friday. In the single, she sings: 'Your heat on me. Sex on sight. Anywhere you like. Inside or outside.' Heat is expected to feature on her upcoming, still untitled, fourth album, which will be her first album release since her 2023 You & I. Rita has recently been supporting Kylie for the first leg of her tour after she previously revealed that Kylie's 2023 mega-hit from 'Tension', 'Padam Padam', was nearly given to her. The synth-pop banger - penned by Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen and producer Lostboy - was a viral hit for Kylie. But several artists were asked if they wanted to record it, including the Anywhere singer, because they didn't feel it was a Kylie song. It comes after she kicked off her support gig on the tour in April at Atlanta's State Farm Arena. Rita gushed after her gig: 'First night of the tour, wow the reception was incredible and I'm so grateful for this opportunity to connect with North America. It feels like such a huge compliment to open up for such an icon.' Kylie's Tension Tour will conclude on August 26. She will then head to New York for two shows at Madison Square Garden before stopping for one show at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The star is the highest-selling Australian female artist of all time and the third best-selling in the UK. But she has only now begun to make a name for herself in the US following the success of her viral 2023 hit Padam Padam. In the past Kylie has claimed her failure to catch on stateside didn't phase her and she enjoyed her anonymity there, however, her record label revealed in 2023 that the singer now has her eyes firmly set on cracking the US market.
