Michael McIntyre pictured with rarely seen wife as he leads stars at Wimbledon
Michael McIntyre was all smiles as he cosied up to his glamorous wife Kitty during a rare date at Wimbledon on Monday.
The comedian, 49, was spotted looking dapper at the All England Lawn Tennis Club for day eight of the tournament, joining fellow famous faces Gabby and Kenny Logan, as well as Lenny Henry and his partner Lisa Makin.
The second week of the iconic event got underway with No1 seed Jannik Sinner back on Centre Court to face 19th seed Grigor Dimitrov, as the Men's Singles fourth round continued under sunny skies following a damp start to the day.
Michael kept things classic in a sharp navy suit layered over a crisp white shirt and dark tie, while Kitty turned heads in a pink floral mini dress. The aromatherapist, who shares sons Lucas, 20, and Oscar, 17, with the comic, finished her summery look with pastel heels and a matching bag as the couple posed before taking their seats.
Also soaking up the action was TV presenter Gabby Logan, 52, who nailed courtside chic in a navy polka dot co-ord teamed with a cream blazer draped over her shoulders. She was joined by husband Kenny, 53, who looked equally smart as they enjoyed the day without their 19-year-old twins Reuben and Lois.
Meanwhile, Lenny Henry, 65, and partner Lisa Makin kept cool in matching summer suits and shades as they enjoyed the sunshine. Lisa, a casting director and theatre producer, has been with the comic for over a decade after they first started dating in 2012. Lenny shares daughter Billie, 34, with ex-wife Dawn French.
Despite their long-standing relationship, Lenny and Lisa have largely kept things low-key and out of the spotlight.
Michael, meanwhile, has shared how his own romance with Kitty began when he was 'pretending to be a really cool writer' while trying to break into film.
He previously said he hired her to work on his movie, admitting: 'I wasn't very good with girls' at the time.
The star sweetly compared his love life to a rom-com, recalling on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2022: 'A long time ago. We met through a friend. She didn't like me for a while. I wanted to get into comedy in some way so I started writing a film - a romantic comedy. I finally got the girl.'

Princess Diana's brother stays silent over daughter's engagement amid family rift rumours
Charles Spencer has remained silent on the surprise engagement of his daughter Lady Eliza Spencer after previously missing the wedings of his other daughters, Kitty and Amelia Princess Diana 's brother Charles Spencer has remained silent after the engagement of his daughter - fuelling rumours of a growing family rift. Last week, Lady Eliza Spencer took to Instagram to share the joyous news that her partner of 10 years, Channing Millerd, had popped the question while on a romantic holiday in Santorini. Eliza shared a series of photos from the happy moment online, captioning the pictures 'Forever and Ever.' Upon sharing the news, both of her sisters, Lady Kitty and Lady Amelia, were quick to comment their congratulations. However, Eliza's father Charles has yet to publicly recognise the engagement, despite frequently posting on social media. It comes after claims Prince Harry 'admits he is still part of the Royal Family and finally sees sense'. Earl Spencer often regularly posts insights into his life at Althorp House, the house he grew up in with sisters Diana, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes. On Monday, he also posted a picture of several signed copies of his book, titled A Very Private School that was released last March. Despite his consistent online presence, Charles has yet to mention anything about his daughter's engagement. He shares his daughters Eliza, Amelia and Kitty, as well as their brother Louis, with his first wife Victoria Aitken. He did not attend the weddings of both Amelia and Kitty. In 2021, Kitty was walked down the aisle by her brothers as she tied the knot with retail millionaire Michael Lewis in Rome, who is more than 30 years her senior. Then, in 2023, Amelia married her long-time partner in a charming ceremony in South Africa, without her father present. A source told MailOnline at the time of Kitty's wedding: "Kitty and Charles were very close when she was growing up, but their relationship has cooled and been more distant since his marriage to his third wife Karen in 2011. 'The four children are all close to their mother, Victoria, and get on well with their step-siblings, and their Spencer aunts and have forged their own relationships with one another without needing Charles to bind them together. "Charles recently suffered an injury and perhaps that will be the reason for him not travelling, but it is just easier for everyone that he is not there.' Diana's brother said around the time of the nuptials he had a 'painful and unpleasant' shoulder injury, which was affecting his freedom of movement. . Charles was married to Victoria from 1989 until 1997. The couple moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where Kitty and her siblings Eliza, Amelia and Louis were brought up away from public attention.

Super-sized padel warehouse causes planning row
A planning row has broken out over a super-sized padel centre that locals fear will create a 'tremendous noise'. A warehouse unit surrounded by residential streets in Christchurch in Dorset has been earmarked for the giant venue for one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK. But neighbours claim the centre would cause huge traffic problems and noise pollution for those living in the area. Padel is a cross between tennis and squash which has grown in popularity in recent years, with celebrities including Annabel Croft and Michael McIntyre among its fans. Unlike in tennis, a padel racket is solid with no strings and is thicker – meaning it makes a very loud noise when striking the ball. As a result, padel has also gained a reputation as a particularly noisy and disruptive sport. Some 25 people have objected since the plans were submitted by company Advantage Padel to the local council. The new centre will have nine full-size courts, as well as four singles courts, which would mean up to 44 people could play at the same time. It would be open from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, which residents say would give 'no respite' to anyone affected by the business. Mark Anderson said: 'Padel tennis is very loud and multiple courts being used all times of day and evening will be very disruptive. I feel that this facility will add a lot of noise in the area.' Julia Gladstone said: 'This facility will result in a huge increase in the volume of traffic entering and exiting a small complex of business units. 'The centre will be open from early morning to late evening and will create a high level of noise which will effect local residents and have a negative impact on their use of the garden for relaxation. 'The increase in both noise and air pollution that will be caused by the introduction of such a large facility cannot be ignored.' Concerns were also raised that the new centre would push out a much smaller padel business just 350 yards away. The PicklePad, the UK's first dedicated pickleball and padel indoor centre, opened in January just around the corner from where Advantage Padel want to put its new centre. Padel has the same scoring system as tennis, but different rules, strokes and techniques. It was invented in Mexico in the 1960s, but soared in popularity during the Covid pandemic as it could be played outside and did not involve physical contact. By 2023 there were more than 25 million active players across 90 countries. In the UK, the Lawn Tennis Association said the number of courts had increased from 50 in 2019 to 350, and it aims to have 1,000 courts by the end of next year.

The 1% Club - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed. The query went as follows: "Edna's birthday is on the 6th of April and Jen's birthday falls on the 15th of October, therefore Amir's birthday must be the 'X' of January." It turns out the conundrum links the numbers with its position in the sentence, so 6th is the sixth word and 15th is the fifteenth word. Therefore, Amir's birthday is January 24th, corresponding to the 24th word in the sentence. - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed.
