Lottery jackpot-winning tickets came from a South Florida Publix and a 7-Eleven
Two of the jackpot tickets from Tuesday's Florida Lottery big money draw games — Jackpot Triple Play, Fantasy 5, Cash4Life, Mega Millions — came from the South Florida metropolitan area.
Not the Jackpot Triple Play or Fantasy 5 midday drawing, won by tickets bought at Publix stores in Clermont and Ocoee, respectively. But the Fantasy 5 evening drawing numbers of 1, 8, 13, 33 and 35 were on a free Quick Pick ticket from a West Palm Beach Publix, 828 Southern Blvd.; a 7-Eleven at 901 W. Sample Blvd in Deerfield Beach; and an Orlando 7-Eleven.
The three-way split left each ticket worth $36,791.
These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or in one of the district offices. Offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made, but aren't required. The closest office to the Deerfield Beach 7-Eleven and the West Palm Beach Publix is in Palm Springs at 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., reachable at 561-640-6190 and WPBRC@flalottery.com.

Someone is holding a $1 million lottery ticket in Virginia — and it expires soon
A Virginia lottery player is holding a ticket worth $1 million, but it will expire soon if it remains unclaimed, lottery officials said. The player won big in the Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle drawing Jan. 1, the Virginia Lottery said in a June 11 news release. It was bought at a Food Lion in Fishersville, about a 100-mile drive northwest from Richmond. Four other winning raffle tickets have already been claimed, but the person holding ticket #229618 has yet to claim their prize, according to the lottery. The ticket expires at 5 p.m. June 30, lottery officials said. Another big prize from a Powerball ticket sold at a 7-Eleven in North Chesterfield — a 12-mile drive southwest from Richmond — is also set to expire soon if the prize is not claimed, the lottery said. This ticket won $50,000 in the Dec. 28 drawing and expires at 5 p.m. June 26, according to lottery officials. The winning numbers in that drawing were 6, 31, 51, 54, 55 and the Powerball number was 12, the lottery said. 'Whoever has the winning tickets should contact the Virginia Lottery immediately,' lottery officials said. In Virginia, lottery winners have 180 days after the drawing to claim their prizes before tickets expire, according to lottery officials.

Each jackpot-winning ticket matched all five balls drawn, 4-7-17-27-36, to win individual prizes of $1,162,845. More than 44,700 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won in the drawing. The winning tickets were sold at a 7-Eleven location along Glen Eden Road in Cranberry Township, Butler County, and the Giant Eagle on West 12th Street in Millcreek Township, Erie County.
