Conor McGregor 'knows it's near impossible Dee will leave' despite cheat claims
Throughout the past week, McGregor has been spotted sharing intimate moments with an unidentified woman on a Florida beach, whilst rapper Azealia Banks has alleged the Irishman sent her unwanted explicit images.
These scandals mark yet another chapter in a series of controversies surrounding McGregor, who was found liable for sexual assault last November. Nikita Hand received €248,000 in damages after a jury determined she was assaulted by the UFC star at the Beacon Hotel in December 2018.
Throughout all the drama, Devlin has stood by her man, even as recently as when McGregor launched an appeal against the decision. She has appeared alongside the MMA specialist during court proceedings for the civil case and frequently shares posts featuring the 37-year-old.
Just last week on his birthday, she posted a heartfelt message to McGregor that read: "Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile."
Whilst the pair appear to present a unified front, sources suggest deeper troubles may be brewing beneath the surface. One insider told the Mail: "We are being told to believe that this is a happy, loving relationship behind all the headlines. I think a lot of things clearly point to the fact that she is not. According to The Sun, another source said: "Dee is incredibly loyal and Conor knows that. She is often there with him behind the scenes, but just not in the limelight.
"He has also made it very clear he is bankrolling her now, which plays a huge part in the dynamic of their relationship - and makes it almost impossible for her to leave.
"She quietly accepts his behaviour and because she's been there from the beginning, she's always willing to move on. She'll stick with him, even if he pushes her loyalty in return."
McGregor and Devlin first met at a Dublin nightclub in 2008, where she was pulling pints behind the bar. Devlin, who was raised in Walkinstown close to McGregor's Crumlin roots, met him just as he'd abandoned his plumbing apprenticeship to chase his UFC dreams. She was working as a waitress and doing some modelling work before his breakthrough.
When Conor first stepped into the UFC octagon, he made clear his primary motivation was securing their financial stability. He said: "I'm doing this to secure my family's future and Dee's future. One day, I want myself and Dee to be able to chill on a beach and not have any worry in the world."
McGregor and Devlin, who have been engaged since August 2020, are proud parents to four children.
Their first child, Conor Jr. , was born in 2017, followed by their daughter Croia in 2019. Two years later, Rian was born, and Mack joined the family in November 2023, making it a family of six.
