Republic of Ireland captain Katie McCabe has been rested for the Republic of Ireland's two friendlies against the USA at the end of June.
A number of players will not make the trip to the States, including McCabe, Aoife Mannion, Heather Payne and Leanne Kiernan.

McCabe has been left out of the squad after helping Arsenal win the Champions League before she came into camp for the Republic's Nations League fixtures.
Jamie Finn, Lily Agg and Jess Ziu are long-term absentees, while Aoibheann Clancy will not travel after the passing of her mother, Siobhan.
There has been a recall for defender Hayley Nolan, who last featured on the Republic's last trip to the USA in April 2023, and midfielder Ellen Molloy has been rewarded for her good form with Wexford in the Women's Premier Division.
The Irish will take on Emma Hayes' side in Denver on 26 June and three days later in Cincinatti.

"When these games were first proposed to us we knew that we would be without certain players, but that opens the door for others to step up," said head coach Carla Ward.
"We are building, camp by camp, so we are looking forward to getting together again and putting in some extra work that will stand to us moving forward."
The matches will be used as preparation for the Republic's Nations League promotion play-off with Belgium in October.
Ward's side finished second in Group B2 behind Slovakia and missed out on automatic promotion on goal difference.
"The two games against USA are an opportunity for us to work together on a number of things – both on and off the pitch – as we build towards the Uefa Nations League Play-Off against Belgium in October," said manager Ward.

"We will be coming up against the best team in women's football, so we will have a plan for those games but it's also important that we make the most out of this camp as a whole."

Ohio 2026 tight end Preston Fryzel set to make official visit to Notre Dame Notre Dame is set to host multiple tight ends on official visits in the coming weeks as it looks to bolster its 2026 recruiting class. Central Catholic (Toledo, OH) product Preston Fryzel will be visiting campus this Friday through Sunday. Fryzel is one of four tight ends still on ND's board. Waukee (Waukee, IA) four-star product Evan Jacobson recently rescheduled his official visit from June 20 to June 13, while Great Bend (Great Bend, KS) four-star Ian Premer and Lexington (Mansfield, OH) four-star Brayden Fogle are set for a midweek visits next week. Notre Dame does not currently have a tight end committed in its 2026 recruiting class. OL Lyonnes have expressed serious interest in 18-year-old Ajax and U.S. women's national team midfielder Lily Yohannes, according to multiple sources briefed on the team's discussions, who wished to remain anonymous due to the ongoing nature of the talks. The eight-time Champions League winners from France and the Dutch club are in talks over a potential summer transfer. Yohannes, who signed with Ajax in April 2023, is under contract until June 2026. While ESPN previously reported that Women's Super League champions Chelsea were interested in signing the breakout star, a source with knowledge of the situation said the talks are currently focused on Lyon. However, a deal has not yet been finalized. In 2023, at 16 years old, Yohannes made history as the youngest player to start a UEFA Champions League group stage match, contributing to Ajax's 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in November of that year. Though she has lived in Amsterdam with her family since she was 10 years old and has played her entire professional career there, Yohannes is a U.S. citizen, born in Springfield, Virginia.
