Candidates are required to carry the OFSS Intimation Letter 2025 when reporting to their designated schools during the offline admission process. The intimation letter can be downloaded from the official OFSS Bihar website.
Note that according to the Bihar Board, admission will only be confirmed after the successful verification of documents and payment of the required admission fees at the respective institution.
Additionally, students who have not been allotted any school or college in the first merit list can fill out a new option form during this same period to be considered for subsequent rounds of seat allocation.
Principals and admission officers of recognised intermediate institutions are required to update the details of admitted students on the OFSS portal by July 4. They must update the admission data daily on the OFSS website from June 30 to July 4, reflecting the previous day's admissions.
After this round, vacant seats will be filled through a second selection list. Students and institutions can visit (link unavailable) for more information or call the helpline number 0612-2230009 for assistance.
A total of 4,70,845 students secured a first division, including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls. In the second division, 4,84,012 students passed, with 2,29,958 being boys and 2,54,054 being girls. Meanwhile, 3,07,792 students cleared the exam with a third division, comprising 1,38,144 boys and 1,69,648 girls. As many as 123 students are placed in the top 10 list. There are 25 students between ranks 1 and 5, while between ranks 6 and 10, there are a total of 98 students.

Govt orders teaching staff to add educational certificates to e-service book
Patna: The education department on Wednesday ordered its teaching staff to include their educational certificates in the e-service book maintained on the e-shikshakosh portal. The objective is to enable any official to view and check them at any level. This book will store personal and service-related information, including appointment details, promotions, transfers and academic qualifications of all categories of teachers, headmasters and librarians working in govt schools. All certificates taken during counselling of teachers and headmasters of schools whose candidate-wise folders are maintained in the respective district education office, will be scanned by the DEO and uploaded to the e-Shikshakosh. School teachers of TRE-1 and 2, and regular and appointed teachers will upload all their educational and professional certificates in PDF format to the portal using their login ID, which will be approved by the headmaster of the school concerned using their school login. Along with this, the year of passing in the certificates will also be accurately entered in the e-Shikshakosh. Manoj Kumar, the secretary of All India Primary Teachers' Federation, said that while they are not opposed to digitisation, they are concerned about maintaining confidentiality. "The federation wants to ensure that sensitive and confidential documents, which are being asked to be uploaded, are handled with care. We request the department to prioritise data protection," he said.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the 3rd merit list for admission to Intermediate (Class 11) courses in government and affiliated schools across the state for the academic session 2025–27. Students who applied through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) can now check their status on the official website — Earlier, the first and second merit lists were issued on 06.06.2025 and 15.07.2025 respectively.
