Race-by-race preview and tips for Taree on Thursday
Track Heavy 9 & Rail True.
RACE 1
6. Crazy Mikki is a tough home track mare who has done everything but win in a long prep. Has beaten all but the winner in his last three at this track on wet ground, despite twice being forced to do early work from wide draws. Well-placed here from a softer trailing barrier, and she's been given a 23 day freshen-up between runs. Has only missed a place once in six runs on either soft or heavy ratings. 1. Bobby is King is banging on the door third-up after being beaten under a length in two runs back, and has a sound record on rain-affected ground. If he gets across from the wide draw okay, will be right in the finish. 3. Enzoni can improve into his fourth start coming back in distance and 23 days between runs. Watch the betting on 1 0. Mars Landing, an improving two-year-old getting back on to his preferred surface at third start, while 9. The Simple Life also comes back in trip off that same let-up, and can add value into exotic bets.
RACE 2
6. Purple Haze is an improving four-year-old bred to thrive in this sort of ground. Much better placed here, dropping back to a far weaker race from a provincial Super Maiden a week ago. 3. Jakubik can improve sharply at his second start back in a weaker company. 5. Montgolfier peaks third-up over more ground, while 1. Dundee Tales draw inside and heads the rest.
RACE 3
6. Heart Of Platinum is ready to break through fifth-up off a short break, with blinkers going on. Has run home okay at his last couple in heavy ground, and gets a nice little weight drop in what is a thinner race. 7. Temple Bells is a locally trained improver who hasn't missed a place in four runs this prep, and right at home in heavy going. 1. Dark Stratum is hard fit, and hasn't been far away in his last three, although a query from the wide barrier in this going. 4. Gallant Rush can improve third-up with a key gear change, so too 8. Calamaris who drops back from tougher provincial level, with winkers being added.

Paris Hilton does not miss The Simple Life days
Paris Hilton does not miss anything about her days on 'The Simple Life'. The 44-year-old hotel heiress shot to fame alongside Nicole Richie in 2003 on the iconic reality show series, which saw the pair move in with the Leding family in Altus, Arkansas, to learn how middle-class families live. But Paris - who is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels - has since distanced herself from that life. She explained to HELLO! magazine: "I feel as though I've lived that life and done it all. I love my life now. "I love just being at home with my family, with my babies. I'm still working a lot, but my children are my priority. "Just seeing them wake up in the morning is so sweet. And reading stories to them at night and cuddling them is just so magical ... "I remember when the very first 'Simple Life' aired, my mom [Kathy Hilton] took me aside and told me that my life was about to change forever, but that I should never stop being the same down-to-earth girl I am. "I've never forgotten that." Paris and her businessman husband Carter Reum got married in November 2021, and later welcomed Phoenix, two, and London, 12 months, into the world. The ceremony and reception were held in her late grandfather's former home in Bel Air. The 'Infinite Icon' singer feels grateful for Carter lifting her and their bundles of joy "every day". Speaking about her "kindest, sweetest man", she gushed: "He's just the best. He's so incredible. He really lifts me and our two beautiful little angels every day. "I feel so grateful for my family, my fans and my fur babies. They all make me feel so happy." The 'Stars Are Blind' singer loves "making entertainment" and products, but she says her and Carter's children always come first before any projects. Paris said: "I don't like to be put in a box and only be able to do one thing. I've always been like that. "My babies come first, but there are so many things I'm passionate about. I love making entertainment. I love making products. I just love being creative and making people happy. That is what I've tried to do my whole career. "I feel lucky that I've been able to do everything and be successful at it at the same time."
