Beloved Hollywood Couple, 95 and 84, Marks Milestone Wedding Anniversary With Rare Photo Montage
Actor Robert Wagner, 95, and wife Jill St. John, 84, celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary on May 26 with a photo montage posted to Wagner's Instagram.
"35 years of love, laughter, and partnership with my beautiful Jill. Every day by your side has been a blessing. Happy Anniversary, my love. 💕🍾," wrote Wagner on the video.Wagner and St. John actually met in the 1950s when they were contract players for FOX studios. They later co-starred in How I Spent My Summer Vacation, but they would not get married for almost 25 years after that film. Both were married many times before they began dating in 1982; Wagner was famously married twice to the late actress Natalie Woods, who died in a tragic drowning accident in 1981. Wagner and Wood share a daughter, Courtney, and after Wood's death, he became the legal guardian of Natasha Gregson Wagner, his stepdaughter, whose biological father was producer Richard Gregson. Wagner is also father of Katie Wagner from his marriage to Marion Marshall.
When Wagner and St. John crossed paths in 1982, they began dating, and "that was it," Jayne Smith, a friend of St. John's told People at the time.

"R.J. just started calling. They started dating and have been ever since. She's really in love," said Smith.
Wagner and St. John married in 1990 and are still going strong 35 years later. In 2007, they left the Los Angeles area and relocated full-time to Aspen, Colorado.
Wagner wrote in his autobiography Pieces of My Heart that he and St. John are settled in Aspen, and he intends to live there until his time up (via the Denver Post).
"When my time comes, I will be buried in Aspen, in an old cemetery that was originally laid out in the nineteenth century. A lot of children are buried there, and it's in the middle of a glade of aspen and birch trees — very wild and overgrown. As soon as someone is laid to rest, the land is allowed to return to its natural state…It's absolutely pure and totally peaceful," writes Wagner in the book.

A Boston TV anchor claims in a lawsuit that she was demoted from her job because she's a white woman, alleging she was the supposed victim of a 'DEI agenda' at the Tiffany Network. Katherine Merrill Dunham, better known as Kate Merrill while serving as a longtime anchor for CBS affiliate WBZ-TV, filed a lawsuit against the station's corporate parents CBS and Paramount Global this month, alleging she was booted from the newsroom to appease corporate diversity quotas. Ciprian-Matthews stepped down last July and Paramount scrapped its DEI programs earlier this year. According to the complaint, the difficulties started when Jason Mikell, a Black co-worker and meteorologist at WBZ, allegedly 'made an inappropriate sexual innuendo about' Merrill 'on air' in February 2024 when he 'implied that Ms. Merrill and her co-anchor had sexual relations at a gazebo.' The lawsuit alleges that despite complaints to supervisors by Merrill's executive producer, Mikell 'was not disciplined for his sexually charged remark about Ms. Merrill.' In April 2024, after she privately texted him to correct a mispronunciation of 'Concord,' Mikell allegedly 'loudly yelled at her on the studio floor,' according to the suit. Merrill claims she quickly complained to human resources; however, a week later, Paramount's HR chief informed her that Mikell and Courtney Cole, a Black anchor hired by WBZ in 2022, had accused her of racial bias. Singer Tamar Braxton says she 'almost died' in weekend accident
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Singer, actor and reality TV star Tamar Braxton said Tuesday that she 'almost died' in a weekend accident that she doesn't remember. 'I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury,' Braxton wrote in an Instagram post. 'I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility.' She added, 'I don't even know what happened to me.' Braxton, 48, earlier in the day had posted 'Thank you God for waking me up today,' in an Instagram story. She said she was getting calls after and was struggling to talk so she shared what had happened to her. The post also said 'the way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real.' An email to Braxton's manager seeking more details was not immediately answered. Braxton was part of a singing group with her sisters, including Toni Braxton, who went on to a major solo career. They and other family members appeared on the reality series 'Braxton Family Values' starting in 2011, and Tamar Braxton has since appeared in spin-offs and other reality shows. As an actor, her recent credits include the TV series 'Kingdom Business.' And she has spent much of the year on a solo singing tour.

White House launches official TikTok account with Trump featured prominently in debut video
From Pennsylvania Avenue to your For You page, the White House launched its official TikTok account on Tuesday afternoon. The verified account @whitehouse garnered thousands of followers within less than an hour. The bio reads "Welcome to the Golden Age of America." President Donald Trump is front and center in the White House's first video, which is captioned, "America we are BACK! What's up TikTok?" The post features footage of the president from rallies and notable appearances. "Every day, I wake up determined to deliver a better life for the people all across this nation. I am your voice," Trump said in a voice-over amid cheers. The White House also announced on X it had joined the popular social media platform. Though the White House is new to the platform, Trump launched his personal TikTok account @realdonaldtrump in June 2024, in an apparent effort to connect with young voters. His debut video went viral, generating millions of likes and views. His granddaughter, Kai Trump, also gained stardom on the app after her appearance at the 2024 Republican National Convention. She has posted viral behind-the-scenes videos of the White House and now has more than 3 million followers. The creation of Trump's personal account came nearly four years after he issued an executive order to ban the app unless it was sold to an American buyer, which was later blocked by a federal judge and never went into effect. Separately, at the beginning of 2024, Congress passed a law requiring ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok, to divest or face a ban. On his first day in office, the president signed an executive order directing the Justice Department to not enforce the TikTok ban for 75 days. Trump issued a second 75-day extension in April and a third 90-day extension in June to allow for negotiations. ByteDance must sell its U.S. operations by Sept. 17, unless another extension is issued.
