Singer Ozzy Osbourne has died aged 76, just weeks after performing a farewell concert in his home city of Birmingham.
In a statement announcing his death, his family said he died 'surrounded by love'.
The musician pioneered heavy metal as the singer in Black Sabbath before going on to a successful solo musical career and, in the 2000s, a reality television star.
The final concert took place earlier this month on July 5th in Villa Park.

A statement from his family said: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
'He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.
'Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.'

At the end of every episode, two celebrity chefs have to compete head on and fight for their spot before one is eliminated. Ozzy had discovered a number of years prior with his wife, Sharon Osbourne, 72, that he was affected by a rare mutation in the PARK 2 gene, which indicated he would become diagnosed with Parkinson's later on in life. Though no official cause of death has been released, Ozzy's condition showed signs of decline over the years, impacting his speech and ability to walk. Actor Helen Mirren has said she is 'ageing with fun' rather than 'gracefully' as she marked her 80th birthday at the weekend. The Academy Award -winning actor from London, who turned 80 on Saturday, is best known for playing the Queen and detective Jane Tennison in Prime Suspect. Speaking to OK! Magazine, Mirren said she feels 'insulted' when people tell her she looks good for her age, she finds it 'patronising'. Mirren said : 'I am not ageing gracefully at all! I hate that term – it sounds like you have to be elegant and accepting, and, no, I am not.
