Rashid Equestrian Club To Host Eid Al Fitr Festival

Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club will organise the 'Eid Al Fitr Festival' during its 26th and 27th races, scheduled for Thursday and Friday, April 3 and 4, 2025, in celebration of Eid Al Fitr.
The festival follows the success of the Ramadan night races and forms part of the club's continued efforts to organise various events alongside horse races in conjunction with national occasions.
The two day event will offer an exceptional experience, combining Eid festivities and entertainment with competitive races featuring top horses at the club's racecourse.
Seventeen races will be held across the two days, featuring strong participation from horses across various categories. Competitions will include the late Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Cup, Majid Rashid Al Zayani Cup, Abdulla Ahmed Nass Cup, Applied Science University Cup, Sarens Nass Cup, and the Royal Golf Club Cup.

UK Bound: Next Phase of Development Standout performers from the programme will be nominated for an elite summer training programme at the British Racing School in the United Kingdom next year. The selection process will be overseen by a dedicated committee from the Jockey Support Fund, based on performance criteria. Growing Success of the Academy Officials say the Bahrain Academy of Riders has seen increasing interest, with graduates already achieving strong results in the local racing circuit. Many have secured podium finishes throughout the 2024–2025 season—highlighting the academy's growing impact.

BIC collaborates with REHC to open new parking venue for F1 ticket holders who do not have car pass

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', announced today that, in cooperation with Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), it has opened a new parking area at REHC for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025. The car park is available to all those with tickets to the grand prix but do not have a car pass. Shuttle buses will be transporting fans to and from REHC and BIC every 10 minutes throughout the race weekend. Initiated due to high demand, this initiative further supports the overall traffic and parking plan, helping to alleviate congestion in the area around BIC. BIC extends its sincerest thanks and appreciation to REHC for providing the additional car parking areas. Ticketholders are reminded that only those with the appropriate car pass will be permitted in the vicinity of the circuit, or into car parks within the venue.
