Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, is gearing up to make his debut as a director and writer. His upcoming series, set to offer a unique and humorous take on the Indian film industry, has already stirred buzz with its intriguing premise and star-studded cast. As excitement grows for his Netflix show The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, filmmaker Karan Johar has joined the chorus of praise, commending the young talent.
In a recent conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Karan Johar was asked about promising new talents in Bollywood. The renowned filmmaker was quick to praise Aryan Khan, lauding his directorial skills and strong work ethic.
Referring to Aryan Khan as his 'firstborn," Karan Johar expressed unwavering confidence in the young talent's directorial abilities. While he refrained from revealing specific details about Aryan's upcoming project, Karan encouraged audiences to keep an eye out for the budding director, describing him as a private individual in real life.
'If there's a king, there will be a prince," said Karan Johar, expressing his confidence in Aryan Khan's potential after witnessing his work. He went on to praise Aryan's dedication, adding, '20 ghante kaam karta hai. Ussey kaam se bada aur koi kaam nahi hai. Ussey jeetna hai. (He works 20 hours. There's nothing bigger for him than work. He likes to win)."

He mentioned that Aryan takes losses to heart but is even more driven by his successes. Describing Aryan as a rare personality, Karan noted that he possesses a unique, individualistic voice as a director. Karan also emphasised that Aryan is not what one might expect from Shah Rukh Khan's son, highlighting his distinct personality. He works quietly and doesn't seem burdened by the weight of his father's legacy.
At the end, the filmmaker mentioned that Aryan's parental instincts kicked in when he was born to Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Reflecting on Aryan's journey, Karan shared that watching him now as a director feels like an 'out-of-body experience," as he continues to marvel at the young filmmaker's talent and dedication.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of the Indian film industry, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, revolves around the charming and ambitious outsider navigating the glamorous yet challenging showbiz world. The series promises a blend of high-stakes drama and self-aware humour, aiming to be an entertaining ride featuring larger-than-life characters, potential celebrity cameos, and a tongue-in-cheek look at Indian cinema.

Rintaro and Kaoruko seem to have such a relationship. The gaze that innocently leaps over the walls they have erected against the outside world, like a child. I tried to put into words as straightforwardly as possible that that is what makes me so happy and so dear to me." Reira Ushio added, 'It was my first experience writing a song after reading the original story and I felt many different emotions. This story smelled like a small, pure white love. Sonali Bendre recalls welcoming Michael Jackson to India in 1996

New Delhi [India], June 7 (ANI): Sonali Bendre is the only Bollywood actress to have had the opportunity to welcome the late pop sensation Michael Jackson when he visited India for his 'HIStory World Tour' in 1996. Actress Sonali Bendre, along with politician Raj Thackeray, played a key role in the grand welcome of Michael Jackson to India in 1996. Bendre was dressed in a traditional nine-yard saree and greeted Jackson at the Mumbai airport with an Indian ritual by applying tilak (a sacred mark on the forehead) and performing aarti. Now, nearly 29 years later, Sonali Bendre has opened up about the behind-the-scenes events that led her to be a part of that iconic moment. In an interview with ANI, the 'Sarfarosh' actress said that she was approached by Raj Thackeray's wife, Sharmila Thackeray, for the welcoming ceremony of Michael Jackson at the Mumbai Airport (Bombay Airport at that time). "They told me that you need to come and do that and be somebody who got in touch with me. I think it was Sharmila, Raj's wife. Sharmila's mother and my masi (aunt) have been friends for a long time, and she said, 'why don't you do it' (welcoming Michael Jackson)," said Sonali Bendre. However, it was not so easy to convince the actress who was at the peak of her career at that time. She agreed to welcome Jackson at the airport, but only on one condition. "I was like, okay, but then I want great tickets for the show and all of that with my friends. So I did it because I was getting these tickets to enter where I could take my friends and go to the show. My sister, sister's friends and all of that. We had this great seating. That's what I was so excited about when I did it," added Sonali Bendre. The 'HIStory World Tour' included Jackson visiting numerous countries and performing for millions of fans. Jackson's concert in Mumbai was a highlight of the tour, as it is fondly remembered for his cultural moment in India. At the time, Sonali Bendre was enjoying a successful run in Bollywood. After a series of early struggles, 1996 proved to be a breakthrough year for the actress as she starred in hits like 'Diljale', 'Sapoot' and 'Rakshak'. Sonali Bendre's diverse filmography includes hit films like 'Aag', 'Sarfarosh', 'Keemat', 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', 'Indra', 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' and others. (ANI)
