Fury co-managed a Three Lions side featuring stars such as Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe and Alex Brooker.
But it was Argentine striker Tevez, 41, who showed he was still a fox in the box 16 years on since leaving Man Utd.
England led 3-0 when Tevez was introduced by World XI coach Peter Schmeichel.
Tevez was met by a barrage of boos from the Old Trafford terraces.
He infamously swapped the red half of Manchester for the blu e in 2009.
Tevez proceeded to smash in four goals to turn the game on its head, cupping his ear to the Stretford End.
Celebrity chef Big Zuu later popped up with a dramatic winner for World XI.
Despite the loss, Fury - who dropped the F-bomb live on TV - took to Instagram on Monday to send his congratulations to Schmeichel's side.

"Wow. Banging in hat-tricks and stuff. He has still got it.
"Had a fantastic day. Big shout out to all the organisers at UNICEF and Soccer Aid.
"But here we are today, back in the bay, back in good old Lancashire... keeping it real!"
Tevez spent 8 seasons in the Premier League between 2006 and 2013, playing for West Ham, United and City.
He won three league titles - two with United, one with City - as well as an FA Cup, Champions League and League Cup.

Dawid Malan hits half-century as Northern Superchargers ease to Hundred win
Dawid Malan hit a half-century as Northern Superchargers made it back-to-back wins in The Hundred with a dominant 36-run victory over Birmingham Phoenix at Headingley. Zak Crawley dominated the strike early on as he clocked up 45 runs – from a hit including six fours and two maximums – before being stumped by Joe Clarke off the bowling of Liam Livingstone. Fellow opener Malan then achieved a well-earned half-century, finishing with a knock of 58 from 34 balls. Harry Brook was cheered by the crowd by the home fans on his way to the middle and his quick-fire score of 31 – and Michael Pepper's 28 – propelled the hosts to 193 for five as they recorded the highest total in the competition over the last two seasons. Birmingham's run chase got off to a slow start, Will Smeed was out with the third ball, while Matthew Potts dismissed both Ben Duckett and Clarke, with the visitors reeling on 27 for three. Jacob Bethell was earlier named England's youngest ever T20 captain for their upcoming tour of Ireland and he rifled 48 from 23 balls alongside Livingstone's 46. But they both fell victim to Adil Rashid as Phoenix started to lose wickets at speed and fell way short of their target as they could only reach 157 for nine in reply. Earlier, Phoebe Litchfield blasted a half-century to help the women's Superchargers easily chase down Birmingham Phoenix's target of 116. The Phoenix elected to bat first on what looked to be a batting-friendly wicket and despite getting off to a decent start, they lost wickets at regular intervals to stop them posting a damaging score. Georgia Voll and Marie Kelly hit seven fours between them but were both bowled by Linsey Smith, while Amy Jones fell for one before Ellyse Perry was caught of her crease when a shot brushed the hands of Annabel Sutherland and hit the stumps as they were reduced to 75 for five. Sterre Kalis (24) and Em Arlott (32 not out) came together and put 57 runs on the board to help the away side post 116 for six at the halfway point. In reply, Davina Perrin and Alice Davidson-Richards came steady out of the blocks but they were dismissed by Arlott and Millie Taylor respectively as Birmingham looked to limit their opponents. But the game was soon over as a contest when Litchfield came to the crease and she hit 59 from 28 balls to guide her side to victory with 26 balls to spare.

Mohamed Salah in tears as Liverpool fans sing Diogo Jota's name at Anfield
Mohamed Salah wiped away tears as he listened to Liverpool fans sing songs in tribute to Diogo Jota after the team's victory over Bournemouth at Anfield. Liverpool won 4-2 in the opening match of the Premier League season, with goals from Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa and Salah getting their title defence off to a winning start. Jota died in a car crash along with brother Andre Silva in Spain on 3 July after a suspected tyre blowout. The tragedy occurred only 11 days after Jota, a 28-year-old father of three, had married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso. Jota 's family were in attendance at Anfield on Friday night as Liverpool fans sang a rousing rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone, before a minute's silence was impeccably observed. A loud rendition of Jota's song was accompanied by banners commemorating the late forward, one of them in the Bournemouth end, in a gesture by the visiting fans. Mosaics were formed by fans in the Kenny Dalglish Stand and the Kop as Liverpool paid their own tribute. Chants of Jota's name continued to ring around the stadium as the game got underway, all players wearing black armbands, with fans singing his now immortalised 'Number 20' anthem. And afterwards, Salah stood in front of the Kop soaking in the moment as supporters sang Jota's name. "We know that this will be a very emotional occasion, given it is the first league game we have played since we lost Diogo and Andre,' Arne Slot had said in his pre-match programme notes. "As I have said previously, the tributes that have been paid throughout the football world, and especially within the LFC community, have been truly special, and I know that tonight we will come together to honour them once more.' Reds captain Virgil van Dijk added in his notes: 'It will be a very emotional occasion for everybody associated with the club, and especially for Diogo's wife, Rute, their children and his family, who will be in attendance this evening. 'They remain, of course, the most important people in all of this, and it is important that we as a club – players, staff, supporters – are there for them always, and that they know that they will always be loved and welcomed here at Anfield.' Liverpool retired Jota's No 20 shirt earlier this summer, with the Portuguese forward listed under 'Forever' on their website's squad list.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Premier League to investigate after Antoine Semenyo reports racist abuse
The Premier League has said it will launch a full investigation after Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo reported being racially abused by a supporter during the match against Liverpool at Anfield. Match referee Anthony Taylor stopped play in the 29th minute and spoke with managers Arne Slot and Andoni Iraola before respective captains Virgil van Dijk and Adam Smith were called over to the dug-outs. It is understood police officers went into the referee's room at half-time, while an anti-discrimination message was read out to the Anfield crowd. A Premier League statement read: 'Tonight's match between Liverpool Football Club and AFC Bournemouth was temporarily paused during the first half after a report of discriminatory abuse from the crowd, directed at Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo. 'This is in line with the Premier League's on-field anti-discrimination protocol. 'The incident at Anfield will now be fully investigated. We offer our full support to the player and both clubs. ' Racism has no place in our game, or anywhere in society. We will continue to work with stakeholders and authorities to ensure our stadiums are an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.' Sky Sports co-commentator Gary Neville said: 'It overshadows what should be an amazing night. First game of the Premier League season, a beautiful day, 62,000 fans in the stadium and that boy (Semenyo) basically has been racially abused and has had to go over to a referee to complain about it. 'I can't even begin to think what would be going through someone's mind, however it's happened and it'll keep on happening and it's a sorry state.' Mohamed Salah secured a 4-2 victory for Liverpool.
