Warren JFK grad contending for lead at LIV Golf Korea
INCHEON, South Korea (WKBN) – Valley native and current LIV golfer Jason Kokrak carded a five-under 67 during round two to move into the top three of the LIV Golf Korea event.
The Warren JFK graduate racked up four birdies and capped off his round by draining a long eagle putt on 18 to move into a tie for third with Charles Howell III at 8-under overall. They sit five strokes behind leader Bryson DeChambeau.
Kokrak's team, Smash GC, along with Brooks Koepka, Taylor Gooch and Graeme McDowell, currently sits in first place with the overall team score of 21-under.
LIV Golf Korea round three tees off at 11:25 PM on Saturday, May 3, and will stretch into the early morning hours of Sunday, May 4.

Browns officially sign quarterback to rookie contract
BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) — The Cleveland Browns have officially signed QB Dillon Gabriel to his 4-year rookie contract. Gabriel was selected by Cleveland in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft at No. 94 overall out of Oregon. During his college career, he appeared in 64 career games at Oregon (2024), Oklahoma (2022-23) and Central Florida (2019-21). Last season, Gabriel was named a Heisman Trophy Finalist and Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year after completing piling up a career-high 3,857 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also added seven rushing touchdowns. Gabriel finished his collegiate career as the FBS all-time leader in total touchdowns with 189. PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – The Pittsburgh Steelers officially announced the schedule for 2025 Training Camp at Saint Vincent College on Wednesday. It is the 58th year that Saint Vince College will host the Steelers for summer practices. Players are slated to report on Wednesday, July 23. The first practice open to the public will be held on Thursday, July 24 at 1:55 p.m. Pittsburgh's first padded practice will take place on Tuesday, July 29, also scheduled for 1:55 p.m. The annual 'Friday Night Lights' practice will be held on Aug. 1 at Latrobe Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m. The final practice open to the public at Saint Vincent College will be on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 10:30 a.m. The team will hold a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday, April 14 at Acrisure Stadium, and the practice is not open to the public. Scrappers' opening night at Eastwood Field is here again for 27th season
NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Wednesday is opening night at Eastwood Field — the Mahoning Valley Scrappers are back in action and no one is more excited than Scrappy himself. The first pitch against State College is at 7:05 p.m. but get there early for a live pregame performance by The Suns of Beaches band. The first 1,000 adults will get a free Hawaiian shirt. It's also Military Appreciation Night — get two free upper box seat tickets with a valid military ID at the box office. After the game, there will be fireworks. Tuesday night was Scrapper Fest at the Eastwood Mall — a time to get fans excited for the 27th season. Former Major Leaguer and second-year manager Quinton McCracken addressed the crowd, outlining the kind of team he'll be leading.
