Shuvee Etrata, Klarisse de Guzman's return gives housemates closure
The eviction of Shuvee Etrata and Klarisse de Guzman from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" broke the hearts not just of their fans, but also of the remaining housemates who have formed a close bond with them. So when they returned to Bahay ni Kuya shortly after their exit, the housemates turned emotional after getting the chance to talk to them again. On Wednesday's episode, all 10 evicted housemates entered the house by pairs and briefly met the final duos in the garden area. Shuvee and Klarisse were the last duo of evictees to enter the house, and everyone ran to give them hugs. AZ Martinez and River Joseph were among those who were strongly affected, as the only duo who gave nomination points to Shuvee and Klarisse. Before ShuKla entered, Vince Maristela asked AZ how is her relationship with Shuvee after what happened, as they are close friends even outside the PBB house. "May unfinished talk kami. She told me some stuff, I also told her my part. And I hope she'll give me a chance sa labas pa. Sana pag-usapan pa rin namin and I hope we're OK pero I understand if we're not," said AZ, who felt guilty and blamed herself for ShuKla's eviction. "Pero hindi ko susukuan 'yung friendship na 'yon. Importante 'yon sa 'kin. Mahal ko siya, alam niya 'yon," she added. When she saw Shuvee and Klarisse just minutes later, she burst into tears and apologized to them while embracing them tightly. AZ also told Shuvee that she would make it up to her. Their hug was applauded by the duo challengers, who were watching from their secret headquarters. "Sobrang bigat pa rin sa loobin ko Kuya 'yung nangyari," she said. "I told her Kuya na babawi po talaga ako and I hope outside makapag-usap kami." Klarisse later told River and AZ not to feel bad about their eviction. She also told the housemates that she feels proud of them all. "Nandito ako para palakasin 'yung loob n'yong lahat as your mom. 'Wag mawawala 'yung fire. Umalis man ako wala man 'yung pinaka ate n'yo but tuluy-tuloy lang kayo. Magtulungan kayo sa isa't isa," she said. Will Ashley and Esnyr, who were among Klarisse's closest friends inside the house, were also relieved to see her again. "Sobrang naapektuhan talaga [ako] Kuya [nung na-evict] 'yung naging kaduo ko na si Ate Klang kasi hindi ko talaga na-ready po 'yung sarili ko. Kaya sobrang na-hurt po ako. Pero nung nakita ko po sila kanina sobrang nakakahappy po. Para siyang closure," Will said. "My heart is full of happiness nung nakita ko po si Ate Klang," Esnyr said. After Shuvee and Klarisse left the garden, they met the housemates once more, this time with the rest of the duo challengers. All 20 housemates of the Collab Edition were together for the first time. "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" airs new episodes on GMA Network weeknights at 9:35 p.m. and on Saturdays at 6:15 p.m. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News

For Cheryl Ching-Sy, Officer-in-Charge of GMA Entertainment Group, the cast of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" was destined to be part of the beloved fantasy franchise. In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the Kapuso executive said the stars went through the most challenging selection process before finally making it to the official cast. "Hindi siya normal na casting call. Tawag siya ng destiny kasi hindi lang naman namin pinili 'yung pinakamaganda o pinakamagaling, ang hinahanap namin ay 'yung mga artista na kayang i-continue 'yung legacy at kayang mangalaga ng brilyante sa loob man ng serye o sa labas," she said. Director Enzo Williams commended the cast for the effort they put in for the project. "Actually bilib ako sa kanila, to be honest. Bilib ako sa preparations nila on every shooting day na they go to the set," he said. Overall visual director Rico Gutierrez shared that their goal is to deliver an entertaining project for the audience. "Ang tahak namin talaga [ay] mabigyan talaga 'yung audience ng isang entertaining na show. Matuwa sila, ma-excite sila sa action, ma-amaze 'yung mga bata sa mga special effects. 'Yun talaga 'yung goal namin," he said. "Sang'gre" is a spinoff of the iconic Kapuso fantaserye "Encantadia." It will introduce the newest keepers of the brilyantes: Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Terra (Bianca Umali).
