
A QC bakeshop pays tribute to Nora Aunor with a pastry named after her
The bakeshop's owner, Wilson Flores Lee, announced their special offering on Facebook on Tuesday.
"This May 21, honor the late Nora Aunor with a slice of history!" Wilson wrote.
Nora, a National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, passed away due to acute respiratory failure in April. She was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City on April 22.
Celebrities and international media outlets paid tribute to Nora by sharing her memories and honoring her legacy in Philippine cinema.
The Superstar is best known for the films "Himala," "T-Bird at Ako," "Bulaklak sa City Jail," "The Flor Contemplacion Story," and many more.

Cinemalaya 2025 announces dates, venue
Cinemalaya season is almost here! The independent film festival announced on their social media accounts the dates and venue for the upcoming edition. Cinemalaya is officially happening from October 3 to 12 at the Shangri-La Plaza Cinemas in Mandaluyong City. "Fearless films. New voices. Stories that stay with us," Cinemalaya teased on Instagram. "Stay tuned as we journey toward another unforgettable festival," the fest added. The Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival is an annual event that champions Filipino independent films and shorts. It is traditionally held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and extends to various cinemas, but the center is currently being renovated.
