Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has issued a stark warning against the continuation of Israel's current regional approach, asserting that it portends grave consequences for all in the region without exception. He further stressed the vital importance of the international community assuming a more effective role in compelling regional parties to exercise responsibility. He also underscored that peaceful resolutions are the only viable path to ensure security and stability throughout the region. The Egyptian President also highlighted the imperative of resuming US-Iranian negotiations, under Oman's mediation, as the optimal pathway to de-escalate the ongoing tensions. Sisi asserted, in closing, that a fair and all-encompassing settlement of the Palestinian question stands as the indispensable condition for achieving enduring peace and stability across the Middle East. He elaborated that such a solution necessitates an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of all hostages and detainees, the the formation of a sovereign Palestinian state along the pre-1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the assurance of security for every population throughout the Middle East.
