‘I quit': Kyle Sandilands goes on unhinged on-air rant, threatens show's director

Kyle Sandilands has been slammed by listeners after he stormed off his radio show during an unhinged and offensive rant.
Sandilands threw a fit when his show with Jackie O' got heavily censored discussing a while horrific murder case on-air.
Sandilands was sharing his thoughts on former Beauty and the Geek star Tamika Chesser, who is alleged to have killed and decapitated her boyfriend.
Returning to the show the day after they had faced heavy on-air censoring, Sandilands lashed out claiming that rules for radio presenters reporting on crimes are too strict.
'OK, so the show got dumped in the middle of a planned discussion that I had already discussed with the legal team about things that have been happening on the show,' he said.
'Why was that dumped, when I was using all the correct lingo?'
Sandilands was then told that it was The Kyle & Jackie O Show director Bruno Bouchet who had made the call to censor the show and momentarily take it off air.
'Some laws are just so dumb and stupid, and I'm not playing ball,' he said.
'Until this show runs the way I intend it to be run, I will not be back on the air at all, in any way, shape or form.
'I'm not going to waste my life here walking on eggshells around other people's ideas of what I should be doing.
'I do what I want to do and if you don't like it, tough s***. That's the way it is with me.'
Sandilands then remarked that he planned to go on a hunt for the show's director with 'dogs and a baseball bat'.
Sandiland's manager then came on the mic and confessed to pulling the show off the air momentarily, saying: 'Yeah for the contempt of court stuff. I just don't want you guys going to jail'.
'I'd rather be r***d in jail than be puppeteered by losers,' he spat.' That's the show ripped up. Judges can shove it in their a***, ACMA [Australian Communications and Media Authority] can shove it in their a***, and so can the management of the radio station.'
Sandilands then said he would be off air until at least Monday.
'Enjoy the rest of the week, guys. Arrivederci from me,' he added before walking out.
Listeners rushed to ridicule Sandilands for his behaviour, with one commenting: 'Ooop we've had a proper white entitled man public tantrum. Imagine being his wife!'
'Big man throwing a tantrum, how embarrassing!' remarked another, with a third replying: 'Wow, men are so emotional.'
Officers have so far been unable to recover all body parts, and a wide-scale, multi-agency search was called off on Tuesday afternoon.

One man dead, another seriously injured in shooting outside Forest Lodge pub in Sydney's inner-city

One man has died and another has been seriously injured in a shooting outside a hotel in Sydney's inner-city. Police were called to The Harold Hotel on Ross Street in Forest Lodge about 6:40pm, following reports of a public place shooting. When officers arrived, they found two people had been shot multiple times by unknown people who fled in a car. Paramedics treated the two men at the scene, but one could not be saved. The other man was treated for gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital in a serious condition. Detectives have cordoned off part of the street with police tape, as a manhunt for the gunmen continues. Nearby resident Imogen said she heard about six "really loud bangs" but initially mistook them for fireworks. "I saw some people running across the road, so away from where the sound was coming from, and a few other people running up the road," she said. "It hasn't quite hit me yet. My family had just arrived to mine maybe 10 minutes earlier so to think they were walking at the same time [is] a bit scary." Ivan and Charlotte said they heard a number of shots. "There was probably eight to ten gunshots, and then a pause, and then another half dozen maybe," Ivan said. Charlotte said the man who was taken to hospital was conscious as paramedics treated him. "He'd been shot multiple times, maybe six times," Charlotte said. "He'd been shot in the neck, the chest, the abdomen, arms, legs, just everywhere." #moretocome
