I stayed at Travelodge's 600th property London Oval - two things jumped out

When travelling to London, Travelodge offers more than 80 locations to choose from and there's usually one close to wherever you want to visit. Staff are always friendly, rooms are always clean and come with everything you need while the buffet breakfast is both reasonably priced and delicious. On a recent cultural expedition to the capital, it suited me to be close to Victoria Station and Vauxhall, so the recently built Travelodge London Oval Cricket Ground (across the road from the cricket ground entrance) was ideal. READ MORE: A weekend in Cork with your best friends is always a good idea READ MORE: Galgorm is leading the way with new AI massage treatment Opened in April 2022, it is the group's 600th property and features the new room design and the firm's top notch 85 Bar Café which serves evening meals as well as breakfast. It is a minute's walk from Oval Underground station on the Northern Line, and about half a mile from Vauxhall Station, which links to both National Rail lines and the Victoria line. There are 95 rooms at the hotel, of which 75 are standard and 20 are SuperRoom. The latter sport their own design scheme and extras such as a Lavazza coffee machine, enhanced shower, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Both the standard and SuperRoom come in options for double, family and accessible rooms. I stayed in a Family Room with a king-size double bed and two comfortable pull down single beds. There was space underneath the bed to store luggage along with two small bedside tables housing plug and USB power points. There was also a desk with a small kettle, tea and coffee facilities, a lamp and even more power points, which were a mix of USB-C and the older USB-A ports. You also get air conditioning, a 32in TV, an armchair, clothes hangers and extra pillows. Travelodge London Oval Cricket Ground verdict This was my favourite Travelodge to stay in so far, thanks to the new room design and the impressive dining area. Britain's biggest family gets even bigger as Millie Radford reveals ‘surprise new addition' to her brood

But one nasty troll wasn't afraid to hold back their thoughts on Millie's new family member THAT'S RAD Britain's biggest family gets even bigger as Millie Radford reveals 'surprise new addition' to her brood BRITAIN'S biggest family has got even bigger, as Millie Radford has revealed the 'surprise new addition' to her brood. Mum-of-three Millie, who first became a parent at 19 and is Sue and Noel Radford's third eldest daughter, got candid on the eight-week-old newest member of her family. 7 Millie Radford has left fans gushing after sharing the "surprise" new member of her family Credit: TikTok/@ 7 Posting online, Millie, 23, was joined by her husband Harley Passmore, as they gave followers a close-up look at their 'new addition" Credit: TikTok/@ Advertisement 7 Millie's youngest child Elodie is just 22 months old and she's now got a Jack-A-Poo puppy named Bella Credit: instagram 7 Millie is also mother to Ophelia Jo and son Chester Bleu Credit: instagram/millieradfordd/ Posting on social media, Millie, 23, who recently opened up on a holiday mishap when travelling to the States, was joined by her husband Harley Passmore, as they shared their 'big surprise' with fans, leaving many totally stunned. Millie, who is already mother to Ophelia, four, Chester, three, and Elodie, 22 months, beamed as she said: 'Hi guys - so we have a big surprise to share with you all.' Advertisement Following this, Harley chimed in and claimed: 'Ophelia was begging us for ages, it was at least a year.' The couple then held up their 'new addition' - a Jack-A-Poo puppy named Bella. Harley explained: 'She's literally just over eight weeks old,' whilst Millie continued: 'She is teething at the minute, so she's just chewing everything. 'She absolutely loves this mayhem house - when I picked her up, in her litter she was probably the most playful one, which was very ideal, especially for this household because it's just constantly mad.' Advertisement The 22 Kids & Counting star then admitted: 'I was scared to get a dog - three young kids and a dog, but she has been great. 'She's settled in really well as well - so yeah, that's our new addition.' Moments later, Harley, who was previously filmed breaking down in tears on his wedding day to Millie, then recognised: 'I had to beg Millie. 'Millie wasn't too keen at first, she thought it would have been a bad idea, but I feel like it's been such a good idea because I feel like it's changed Ophelia's behaviour. Millie Radford who had first baby at 19 says mum Sue is crazy for having 22 kids & insists she'll stop at three 'She's starting school in September, so I thought it'd help out loads.' Advertisement Millie's TikTok clip, which she posted on her official account @ has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 134,200 views, 5,452 likes and 76 comments. Who's who in the Radford family? The Radfords are Britain's biggest family with 22 children. Here are the kids from eldest to youngest include: Chris - born May 7, 1989 Sophie - born December 13, 1993 Chloe - born July 31, 1995 Jack - born April 9, 1997 Daniel - born March 3, 1999 Luke - born October 1, 2000 Millie Radford - born August 29, 2001 Katie - born November 14, 2002 James - born October 17, 2003 Ellie - born May 6, 2005 Aimee - born April 21, 2006 Josh - born July 3, 2007 Max - born December 11, 2008 Tillie - born May 2, 2010 Oscar - born October 22, 2011 Casper, - born October 3, 2012 Hallie - born June 3, 2015 Phoebe - born July 24, 2016 Archie - born September 18, 2017 Bonnie - born November 6, 2018 Heidie - born April 3, 2020 Millie's fans were overjoyed by the couple's latest 'addition' to their brood and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this. One person said: 'So cute.' Another added: 'Aww lovely your little new addition.' They will probably abandon that dog when they go on their millionth holiday TikTok user A third commented: 'Lovely puppy.' Advertisement Meanwhile, someone else wrote: 'She's adorable.' How does family-of-22 the Radfords afford to live? AS Britain's biggest family, it may come as no surprise that Sue and Noel Radford must have some hefty bills. Between them, they have a whopping 22 children and seven dogs, which often has some people wonder how they manage their money. The Radfords support themselves with the proceeds of Noel's bakery, The Radford Pie Company, which is located near their home. On their website, it says: 'We have owned our own lovely bakery since 1999 which is how we manage to provide for (and feed) our huge and expanding family as well as for the local people of Heysham and Morecambe.' The family expanded their business to cater to online orders placed across the UK. The business is a family affair, with Noel at the helm, and some of their children helping out. The older kids, who are working at least part-time, don't get a free ride as they're made to pay a small amount of rent to their parents. "Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it's not a lot but I'm also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.' their daughter Chloe said in a video on the YouTube channel. Sue added: "We've always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we'd rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer. 'I also do believe they should pay board if they are earning. We've always been brought up by our parents that we had to pay board.' Noel and Sue famously don't rely on benefits for their bumper brood and live off their pie shop for income. They also revealed they make money from brand partnerships on social media. The Radford family stars in their own reality TV show 22 Kids and Counting - which has run for four series. Brand expert Andy Barr believes Noel and Sue have been paid less than £10,000 for each show. He told the Daily Mail: "The typical fee per episode is going to be in the thousands rather than the tens or hundreds of thousands that people often think is the case with TV shows of this nature. "If they continue to get commissioned for a fourth or fifth season, then they are going to be able to command a higher fee." He estimates that the Radfords make £ 5,000 an episode. Whilst one user beamed: 'The dog and kids can grow together and learn with each other." However, at the same time, one user snapped: 'They will probably abandon that dog when they go on their millionth holiday.' But to this, Millie confidently wrote back and set the record straight, as she claimed: 'We ain't going on holiday this year.' Six Waterford Heritage Week events to capture the imagination

This year's theme 'Exploring our Foundations' invites the public to delve into the building blocks of Ireland's heritage: not just the structures, but the landscapes and cultural activities that have shaped our country. Here are some of the highlights. Áonach na nDéise In Waterford, Heritage Week kicks off this weekend with Áonach na nDéise - Woodstown Viking Festival at the Waterford Greenway. This signature event of Waterford's Heritage Week Programme, supported by Waterford City and County Council, is now in its eight year. There will be Viking games and storytelling for children, along with the outreach education team from the National Museum of Ireland and TVAS Archaeologists with their Dig in a Box for the aspiring Indiana Joneses. The Discovery Programme will also have a display explaining very exciting findings from three years of geophysical surveys from the site.
