How Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson remain unbiased despite close ties with top NFL players

How Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson navigate NFL friendships without crossing journalistic lines (Instagram) Some stories in sports broadcasting go beyond stats and sidelines — they're about the people behind the mic and the bonds they form along the way. For Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, covering the NFL isn't just a job. It's a lifelong passion wrapped in genuine friendships, unforgettable moments, and the occasional fangirl reaction. In a candid chat on their Calm Down podcast, the Fox Sports veterans opened up about the delicate, often hilarious balance of staying professional while cheering on the very athletes they've grown close to over the years. Her co-host, Thompson, echoed the sentiment, recalling a thrilling comeback by Baker Mayfield. 'That was probably not professional, but I didn't care, that was f—king awesome,' she laughed. Raanjhanaa's AI release: Farhan Akhtar stands by Anand L. Rai, says, 'If the creator is unhappy about their work being changed, I will support them."

At the trailer unveiling of his forthcoming war-period film '120 Bahadur,' the actor-producer Farhan Akhtar weighed in on the growing discourse around artificial intelligence in cinema, his remarks coming in the wake of renewed controversy over Raanjhanaa's re-release and its AI-altered ending. Farhan Akhtar backs Aanand L Rai in AI-cinema controversy When asked about the issue, Farhan voiced his support for filmmaker Aanand L Rai, stating that he will always stand with the creator of the film. "If the creator is unhappy about their work being changed, I will support them. That's where my loyalty lies," said the 'Rock On' star before concluding, "I'm not aware of the detailed circumstances, but that's all I can say.' Producer Ritesh Sidhwani also agreed with Farhan. He advocated that AI must be used wisely. "Back in the day, research meant going to a library; now, with Google and AI, the approach has changed. You have to use AI smartly and not get lazy," he added. Further, he emphasized consent and stated, "I haven't seen the AI-altered Raanjhanaa, but from what I've heard, if the filmmaker, actors, and others involved haven't given their consent, it shouldn't be done. " Controversy brews over AI-modified Raanjhanaa ending For the unversed, the producers of 'Raanjhanaa' used artificial intelligence to alter the film's original ending in pursuit of greater commercial appeal. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Celebrity Mugshot Hall Of Shame As Stars Isolated in Jail Instead Of Luxury Mansions Undo Despite vocal opposition from both director Aanand L Rai and actor Dhanush, the AI-enhanced version was released to the public. 'Saiyaara' Box Office collection day 19: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's romantic film SLOWS down to Rs 2.5 crore, total crosses Rs 304 crore on third Tuesday

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda 's romantic film 'Saiyaara', directed by Mohit Suri , has enjoyed a blockbuster run at the Indian box office. After crossing the huge milestone of Rs 300 crore, the film is now seeing a drop in its third week. Saiyaara Movie Review A dream run faces a dip 'Saiyaara' opened with a bang and kept winning hearts week after week. But now, on its 19th day, the film has started to slow down. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 2.50 crore on its third Tuesday. Though this was slightly more than what it earned on Day 18 (Rs 2.35 crore), the signs of a fall in collections are clearly visible. After such a strong performance, this slowdown marks the start of a natural decline. Occupancy day 19 Even though the collections dipped, 'Saiyaara' still recorded a fairly decent Hindi occupancy of 23.30% on Tuesday, 5 August 2025. The audience turnout increased steadily throughout the day, starting with 13.45% during the morning shows, rising to 22.45% in the afternoon, followed by 25.34% in the evening, and peaking at 31.96% during the night shows. Here's how much 'Saiyaara' has earned so far The romantic film had a smashing start and gathered huge numbers in its first two weeks. From its first day, 'Saiyaara' looked like a winner and it certainly delivered. New films bring fresh challenge As 'Saiyaara' enters its third week, fresh releases have begun to take away some of its shine. 'Mahavtar Narsimha', which released on 25 July, quickly picked up thanks to positive word of mouth. On Friday, 1 August, two more big films hit the cinemas, adding to the growing competition at the box office. 'Son Of Sardaar 2', starring Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur , collected Rs 2.50 crore on Tuesday, taking its total to Rs 29.60 crore. Meanwhile, 'Dhadak 2', featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, earned Rs 1.60 crore on the same day, bringing its overall collection to Rs 14.35 crore. What's next for 'Saiyaara'? While 'Saiyaara' has had a record-breaking run, its performance in the coming days will decide how much higher it can go. With a total of over Rs 304 crore, it has already achieved something massive. The film now has limited time before the release of 'War 2' on 14 August, which stars Hrithik Roshan , Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani . That film has high expectations at the box office, so 'Saiyaara' will need to make the most of the days it has left.
